    Britt did all diagnostics and leak checks in a diligent professional manner. The AC Unit required a couple of pounds of R410a refrigerant to be added. And no condenser or evaporator units leaks found. He also checked a second Heat Pump/AC unit and found no problems. Bottom line. Britt took the time to be thorough and answered all need-to-know owner questions about operation and maintenance. He also came equipped with a good set of diagnostic tools to add confidence in the assessment and repair. It was a great experience to be both educated and and to have the cooling problem solved for peace of mind

    We highly recommend SOD Home Group for any large construction project. After finishing my excellent research about them, we hired them to make some significantly large repairs to our home. Oren was very up front about what needed to be done, and he listened to our concerns and ideas of what we need and want and then came up with a super detailed plan of what needed to be done. We found Oren as a very honest, professional, easy to work with person, competent, and extremely knowledgeable about his trades. Oren was present and working with his teams almost all the time they were present. Oren always answered his phone right away whenever we had questions (and believe us we had so many questions and comments). Our repairs and construction job required expertise in many aspects of construction at our home. From framing, waterproofing, stucco, structural repairs, tile work, drywall painting etc. all of which got done in a great and timely manner. We do a lot of our own repairs , and have had many contractors doing projects too, but we found SOD Home Group to be by far the best construction company we have ever seen or worked with. Their prices are fair, their work is excellent, on time, clean and the quality is fantastic. Oren is knowledgeable about whatever he is working on and always kept me updated on whatever aspect of the job he was working on. A wonderful person to work with. If you want a job completed with no stress and the assurance you are getting it done right, then we feel strongly that SOD Home Group is the one to call

    comfort energy (CE) was professional from get go. Perfect interface polite and swift. 3 hrs appointment window. 30 minutes before arrival, got a text with the picture of the technician so I knew him by sight, then he arrived, masked up and wearing booties. Checked out the furnace, figured out what was wrong and changed a component, tested everything. Less than an hour and he was off. Relief at last. He could have easily dropped us in it by pushing us to replace the whole thing, inflicting a huge cost and un-necessary staring on our budget. They are my goto people here onwards

    Vorn serviced my new mini spilt AC not cooling- he was really friendly and helpful, sorted the AC problem out quickly and efficiently. He was very professional identified the freon leak, water pipe issue and fixed the multiple AC issues. A great service, great repairman, polite, wore masks, left area clean.     Our air conditioning unit started to leak water from the coils. We had an HVAC pro come out to look at it and he suggested complete furnace and AC replacement. The AC is 15 years old and the furnace is 25, so it's not too surprising. But it took nearly a week to get an estimate and he never replied to any followup emails. So I called San Jose Heating & Cooling instead, based on good reviews and specialization in Carrier equipment. I got an immediate appointment, and when the project manager dropped by, he went over the work that needed to be done, discussed the options, and was able to get an estimate out by email immediately and they were able to schedule the job for the next week. The install crew showed up on time, worked the whole day and did really great work . They even noticed that the original estimate was not sufficient for our house and upgraded the unit for us while still honoring the original estimate! Afterwards, Armando pointed out all the fine details of installation to highlight the quality of labor, tested the system with us, and went over care and maintenance instructions. I was very happy with the responsiveness, quality of work, and thoughtful service, and would hire them again for any hvac needs
