"From the first phone call to the start of the project, Hardscape clearly demonstrated that they wanted to do it right. They helped us understand our options. They filed for the city permits and city inspections. Their workers did exceptional work and cleaned up after themselves every day. The crew worked non-stop from morning until evening, only breaking for lunch. The deck looks truly amazing - we continue to receive numerous compliments on it from everyone who sees it. The footers were as big as whiskey barrels, deeply set into the ground and poured with concrete. The crew sanded down each top railing to ensure a nice smooth finish. And while they did make a tiny hole in our patio door screen, they re-screened the door to leave it perfect. Mike - the designer - and Amy - the project manager - were both outstanding. Amy's constant communication with us ensured that we knew what was happening on each and every step of this major home improvement. The project involved tearing off the old deck, tearing out the old concrete patio below, pouring new concrete and footers, and then building a new deck (with a new configuration - where we moved the staircase to a more suitable location). I would absolutely recommend Hardscape and their crew to anyone who wants the job done professionally, accurately, and with perfectionists as craftsman. "This was not the cheapest quote for a retaining wall however owner took time to fully explain the specifics of job and was able to work with us to do work timely since we were dealing with water issues. Excellent work completed and wall looks great while solving our landscape issues. They also built a platform deck for our above ground pool to allow easy pool access. Again quality work completed as promised. Owner frequently on site during construction and was available if we had questions. Would use this company again."
