- WORKING FOR YOUWFY's renovation was amazing. We've lived with issues, created by the original owner, with the ground level of our home for nearly 20 years and finally had the funds to get it fixed. It's a difficult situation to explain, as our home's layout is "a bit different." Long story, short, WFY - Rob, and his business partner Scott - properly insulated above and below grade, then finished the area to be sympathetic with the balance of the house. There were many hurdles, each of which were surmounted expertly. In general, the project required hand digging a deep trench around 2 sides of our home without overly disturbing mature tree roots; developing a plan for insulating from the outside (rather than losing precious floor space indoors) while keeping the home attractive; working with other contractors who needed to move various mechanicals to accommodate; making adjustments as underground realities were revealed; completing the insulating, siding, and painting processes; replacing and fixing the landscaping disturbed as a necessary side effect of the project. WFY did it all whilst also being respectful of our requests around reusing existing landscaping materials, etc. It's not yet cold enough for a final report, but we've already noticed a huge difference this fall and expect more good things to come over the winter. The exterior looks even more attractive than it ever did in the past - which is a testament to design skills as well as actual construction. We've now hired WFY for multiple projects and are always thrilled with the results. We so highly recommend this business that WFY is even better than a "perfect 10.

"We used Platinum Remodeling to remodel our mid-60s, split-entry style house in Edina from May-Nov 2018. Extended the foundation to enlarge the lower (main) level, complete teardown and rebuilding of 3 full baths, 1 half bath, 4 bedrooms, and an open concept kitchen, dining, formal seating and bar area. Also removed the split entry and converted the house to a 2-story. Rebuilt the garage, all new cabinetry & woodwork, added a couple of large windows, painting inside and out, new siding and all new electrical and plumbing. "I contacted Keith Krupenny & Son as they listed they would take railroad ties. I had several landscaping 4x4s that I thought were railroad ties. I called them went through the job and they gave me a very competitive bid for a 4 cubit yard dumpster with seven railroad ties. The dumpster arrived on time, I placed everything in it and they picked it up with no issue. I got a call the next day informing me that I did not have railroad ties and that they would be returning the extra money I had spent to dispose of those. What an honest business! I would recommend them to anyone and won't hesitate to call them for my next remodeling project.

"Chris & his crew arrived on time, they had to remove the existing tree, plant the new tree and create a stone tree well around the nw tree. It turned out just like we wanted. They also installed some small shrubs for us to improve the overall appearance of our backyard. We love it and get compliments on it all the time.
