OPM announced the recipients of the 2022 Presidential Rank Awards (PRA), one of the most prestigious awards in the federal career civil service. Chosen by President Biden, the PRAs recognize the hard work and important contributions of dedicated civil servants in the American federal workforce.  

OPM announced senior staff transitions and additional key Biden-Harris political appointees. These diverse and accomplished individuals bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the agency and will work to quickly advance key priorities for the Biden-Harris Administration.

OPM released government-wide results of the 2022 OPM FEVS today. The OPM FEVS is an employee survey that tracks how federal employees view their current work environment, including management, policies, and new initiatives. OPM FEVS is an unmatched government data asset that assists agencies to hire and support the skilled workforce needed to serve the American people.

OPM announced that the Honorable Denis McDonough, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and OPM Director Kiran Ahuja will be serving as the National Honorary Co-Chairs of the 2022 Combined Federal Campaign. 

OPM migrated from the legacy application responsible for the financial management activities of over $1.1+ trillion-dollar trust fund assets to a modernized financial system platform that is managed and maintained by the Department of the Treasury, Bureau of the Fiscal Service’s Administrative Resource Center (ARC).

The annual Federal Benefits Open Season 2022 starts on November 14 and is open through December 12, 2022. During this time, employees and annuitants can assess their benefits to ensure it is cost-efficient and best addresses the care and services for themselves and their families.

The Chief Diversity Officers Executive Council (CDOEC) kicked off its inaugural interagency meeting to help implement and sustain a national strategy for DEIA across the Federal government.
