We had a travel trailer that a family member had been living in, and it had a bunch of junk and trash all around it. When he showed up, the cleanup was taken care of in less than an hour, and the area around the trailer was spotless. Hopefully, I'll never have to deal with a mess like this again, but if I do, I will definately contact Junk Services

ALLPRO SERVICE COMPANY
Before I wrote the check for $75, I made sure that the charge included them coming out to replace the tank once it was ordered. There was a miscommunication b/w me and Sears about my warranty status, so Allpro was going to come back out and replace it once it was ordered. After I got the replacement tank, I called seven times over a period of two weeks. Tony (the person in charge) never called me back. The receptionist told me she had personally left my messages on his desk but could not make him call. I eventually performed the tank replacement myself and stopped payment on the check (I thought it odd that after 2 weeks they had not cashed it. Perhaps they just decided to ignore me AND my money altogether; however, I wouldn't know because THEY NEVER CALLED BACK.) The bank charged me $31 in stop payment fees. Avoid this company if possible

I researched both tank-type and tank-less systems, interviewed 6 plumbing contractors and got 4 quotes on both systems. Abacus, by far, led the pack in their knowledge of both systems (installation and maintenance requirements, benefits, options, pitfalls). They readily provided several options and with a 30% tax credit available I decided on a Noritz tank-less system. The cost of the system less the tax credit was within 10 - 15% of the cost to replace the tanks in kind. The net install cost will be $2,900 after I file taxes next year. Alan, the owner, always took my calls (or called back within an hour), to answer questions I had during the research phase. Bob, my technician, showed up promptly on a Saturday morning to provide a quote on several tank-type and tank-less systems. After making my decision, Bob and Alex showed up two days later at the designated time. Bob and Alex were extremely professional, courteous and competent. It was evident that they cared about the quality of their work. They completed the project in less than 6 hours, walked me through any operational and maintenance info needed and left the house and attic spotless. I highly recommend this service provider

ARS Rescue Rooter Houston
The next morning ARS installed the new tank. It was done very quickly and with no major disruption to daily household events. The tank is in the attic and I slept through the whole event. We chose an expensive new tank and the installation was painless and worth it. Also there was a repair to a dripping faucet on the same bill. The backyard had water standing in an area where I had seen PVC clean out lids. Toilets wouldn't flush, clothes washer made other toilets bubble & bad (not to mention embarrassing) smell in back yard. I called on a Friday and the person answering the phone was very nice an scheduled me for the following Monday. She sent someone out to find the access to the septic, she had the cameras ready just in case it couldn't be easily located. However, we found it and they emptied it. Painless. Even the bill was much better than I anticipated

Houston Plumbing Services came out after the winter storm of February 2021 and fixed no less than 6 busted pipes to make sure I had a working bathroom and kitchen again. The plumbers took time to explain what was happening and my options and the office stayed in touch about the time for my appointment. Having someone to keep you updated about when they could come out was a huge relief, considering how hard it was to get in touch with anyone this week. And the guys did great work, made sure everything was running and scheduled a follow up appointment. I can't recommend them highly enough

We discovered on Christmas Eve (Thursday) that we had no hot water. I first called my previous plumber that serviced it (descaled) in September. Left a message but no call back (ever)- McKinley Plumbing. So I then found First Service via Angies and called them; left message. Ron called me back within an hour, had me describe the situation over the phone and told me a few things to try which I did. These allowed us to have hot water during that weekend at least intermittently. Ron came out Monday and indicated that there was an electrical issue that needed to be resolved first (voltage swings) before an accurate diagnosis could be achieved. I got my electrician out later in the week to do that work (moved AC outlet near to heater). Once that debug variable was removed, Ron came and proceeded to diagnose the issue which he believed was a faulty fan. I agreed to pay to have him replace it which he promptly did. We've had good hot water ever since. First Service / Ron's my new go to plumber. Very responsive and explained in great detail what he thought was wrong with the unit and the reasons behind it.
