Although I was surprised to hear I needed to purchase a new sump pump, the serviceman's explanation of the problems and lifespan of sump pumps made the decision easy.

Joe replaced our sump pump last week. He was very courteous and professional. The new pump turned out to be defective (which wasn't his fault, and he couldn't have known). So, when it broke two days later, he came out same day and replaced it free of charge. We were happy with his services and would recommend him to others

I highly recommend Laux Plumbing 459-9007 (had a few peeps refer them). Nice father/son team. I got the son, Andrew, today. He was great. Had to get a new sump but we were oh so close to our basement flooding with the amount of water in the sump basin (that's how much was under our house..eeeekkk). The new sump will be working overtime for awhile to get all that water out. He even snaked another drain and fixed our darn basement toilet that you had to constantly shake the handle to make it fill with water - did those additional things at no extra charge

Sohan & Sons Waterproofing Co

I just have to say what a true pleasure it was to work with Sohan and Sons! Our basement flooded during heavy rain 10 days before Thanksgiving. We called a few places to get quotes. Sohan and Son responded and set up an appt. We expected a major job at a hefty price tag because we had it happen once years before and were told by a waterproofing company that our concrete floors were floating on water and we needed over $25,000 in waterproofing, drilling, trenching, etc. “or else our basement would flood over and over.” Much to our delight, when the gentleman arrived for the estimate, he asked if our sump pump was working. We had heard it so said it was. He wanted to check and found that it was running but not pumping. He also realized our original builder put in a pump that was too small and not installed to code. He needed to dig a deeper hole, install a bigger basin and better pump, jackhammer the concrete around the pump and replace with newly angled concrete. Basically fix it to standard - what our builder SHOULD have done. This is a man that did not take advantage of our anxiety and try to sell us things we did not need. The workers were prompt, very nice and worked hard all day. The basement was cleaner than when they started, despite the jackhammering! Pump has been stellar for 6 months now. We would recommend to EVERYONE

After using this company previously based on Angie's recommendations I did not hesitate to use them again for further work that was needed. I contacted them when a housing inspection stated that we needed a new sump pump and that our toilets were not secured properly. Frank the serviceman came out, was very punctual, and took a look at the situation. He told me that the sump pump was not working at all but that there was nothing wrong with the toilets. I appreciated his honesty and was pleased with the work that he did need to do

New pump installed the same day. Jim did a great job. Will definitely use again.
In all of the 24 years that we've lived in our home, our sump pump never kicked on. We just assumed that it was because it didn't have to because our property is on a hill, but it turns out that it was rusted solid. Also, the water pipes from the downspouts on the west side of the house to the street were clogged with soil and/or roots, and were not draining rain water underground to the street's gutter efficiently, so in a heavy downpour, the excess water was seeping through the concrete blocks of our foundation on that side of the house. Luckily, we discovered water on the floor in our basement before it got to be a major problem, and we scheduled a crew from Stay Dry Waterproofing to install a new sump pump and all new PVC pipes underground. They showed up on Monday morning as promised, and spent several hours tunneling under the mulch beds next to our house and down the hill, and then UNDER the sidewalk to the gutter. They did a good job by returning the top soil dirt back into the trench and the sod back in place. They did poke a small hole in the plastic window well cover with a shovel, but it's no big deal (we sealed it with duct tape, and big flowerpots will cover it in the summer). Joe Basham was very polite & friendly, and he and his crew did an excellent job
The job went Extremely Well! Work Performed June 12, 2019 This was my first time looking for a truly real, qualified plumber, because I could no longer trust the work of pseudo plumbers. I had a busted indoor basement pipeline that connected to an outdoor spigot, that caused quite a bit of water damage in my basement, so I needed to find the best plumber, at a reasonable price, and a company that would apply the diagnostic charge to the total charge of the work done. I spent several hours researching plumbing companies, reviewed a great deal of customers’ reviews on each company, and I called a few that had the best reviews. One of my initial calls was to Archer Plumbing Company. The phone was answered promptly by Allan, a very pleasant man (a good sign). I explained what was going on, he asked a few questions, and was able to quote a ballpark figure of what it might cost. I told him I had to make a few more calls before I could decide on a company, but so far, they seemed to be the best, and met all my requirements. In the end, Archer Plumbing was the number one choice by far. I called Allan back and scheduled an appointment. The next day I called and changed the scheduled date to an earlier date, and Allan was very flexible and accommodating. Allan called on June 12, the scheduled date, to let me know that the plumbers were on their way. Chuck and Matthew arrived promptly. I was happy that they had shoe covers (thumbs up), so I didn’t have to offer mine. Chuck was very knowledgeable, proficient and efficient. Both were very polite and pleasant. In addition to replacing the busted pipeline and spigot, they replaced the toilet fill valve and seal in two toilet tanks, and Chuck gave me some general, helpful maintenance tips, as well as addressed a few of my concerns with future plumbing projects. I was very pleased that the cost was within the ballpark figure that Allan had quoted for the busted pipe repair. Needless to say, I highly recommend Archer Plumbing. First impression and experience are lasting! I admire their honesty and integrity. I have already recommended Archer Plumbing to my friends and family. This company exceeds customers’ expectations in all areas of service. They deliver Five Star Service, at a reasonable price, and they offer a one year warranty on their work. Archer Plumbing has gained a new loyal customer. Blessings on the company! Cynthia
Extremely helpful from the initial contact all the way through project completion. Cameron provided me with guidance on the system that I was considering purchasing and Austin did a great job with the installation. Professional, prompt and courteous all through the process.
I have used Copper Pipe several times. He is always on time, honest, and fair. He installed a new sump pump and showed me how to be sure it was running. I had a new washer delivered to the second floor of my house and the installers disconnected the pipes in the process. He fixed their mess and repaired an ice maker that another plumber did not finish. I have referred several friends to Copper Pipe and they have all been very happy
We had an extremely positive experience with Ohio Basement Authority. We had an excellent experience with Tyler who we purchased the services from and an excellent experience from both of the installers themselves - Stephen and Ivan. They went above and beyond throughout (too many examples to list) and were professional, friendly and courteous with a strong work ethic and principles. A few unexpected problems arose during the installation and they took ownership and made it right. I could not have been more impressed. Lastly, after all of the work was done, Tyler swung by to check how things went and even offered to help put things back in the basement. Excellent experience and cannot recommend Ohio Basement Authority enough
Great. I was without any water for four days. They took pity on me and had the plumber there within the hour. He performed the work in two hours. His name was Mike. He was great. Thank you Ken Herbert Plumbing.!!
Very professional and pleasant workers. Explained what they were doing and what it meant. Cleaned up after themselves and were efficient and effective.
After checking my sump pump he told me that my sump pump was okay. It didn't come on because the float was stuck. He adjusted the float . I appreciated that he was honest about what was wrong.
They were prompt, came out the same day as called. Replaced the sump pump, back up and battery. When they realized that they did not have the battery on their truck, they immediately went out and secured one and installed it. The work was performed as promised and everything was cleaned up before they left. We were very satisfied

My sump pump failed and began to heat. I unplugged it. Rain was coming overnight. I called and they came same day, and replaced the sump pump. I have used this company exclusively for all my plumbing needs for 12 years. They are the best.
