Eagle Creek Trucking and Excavating
Eagle Creek is very professional. I have a heavily wooded building site that needed Excavation and Clearing. Randy pulled his equipment onsite and started immediately, the site was clean and well managed each and every day. He communicated progress every day. At the end of the project we did an official walk thru and he remained onsite until I was completely satisfied. Randy even checked in with me a week after leaving site. I have recommend Eagle Creek to my friends and family for these reasons

Chad Miller came in March to measure. He emailed me an estimate in a few days. We had to wait for concrete and some storm drain work to be completed before scheduling the paving. Excavation started July 26th all day and extended half a day on July 27th due to a drain pipe that was too shallow and had to be lowered and difficult to excavate tree roots. Bob did an excellent job with the excavation work and letting me know what was going on. Pavers came in the afternoon and were done in about 2 hours with no problems. The drain problem was extra time and cost. The drive looks good

Jolly Plumbing
Sewage coming up out of a hole in the curb indicated a "problem". Schneller came out - looked with a camera - and then installed a cleanout outside my house ($2800.). This did not fix the problem and they passed the job on to Jolly. It took awhile to get the estimate and schedule the work - but I was really pleased when it was done. The two people who dug and fixed the trap were great. The job was done in one day (still needs to be concreted) and it came in under the estimate

I called to get an estimate to stop the water intrusion in our basement for our 1926 built home. The office set the appointment for the same day. Gill arrived on time and was very nice. He looked at the areas from the inside and outside of the home. He was very knowledgeable. Gill proposed 2 different approaches. The first approach was doing the job from the interior at a cost of about $7000. The second approach (cleaner) was doing the job from the outside at a cost of about $10,000. Gill followed up twice with phone calls. I felt the approach was reasonable and Gill seemed to have a good understanding of the problem. We did not want to invest that amount of money at this time to fix small trickling leaks in an older unfinished basement. If we decide to invest that type of money, I would consider using this company

EASTGATE POOLS
The project we took on started in early July. Eastgate Pool and Spas was highly recommended to us from serveral people and my sister was one of them. I went there and was immediately happy with the experience and attention that Debbie paid to me. She gave me good information, feedback on my concerns and the confidence that we selected the right pool for my family size. and the property we were putting it on. The first step was to have our yard excavated and that was a concern since we live in Kentucky and there are very few flat yards here. Ours has a long and fairly even slope and needed to be dug out. We were told that it would need to be dug out about 7' deep. Our excavator was excellent (only word I can use for him). Ask for Rodney, he is the best!!! He was also the guy who installed our pool and I was so happy with his work, I had him come and build the deck around the pool. He excavated the ground to 1/8" level. It was like an artist at work..(so impressed!!!!) He gave us good advise regarding spacing for the retaining wall and he dug everything out for us for a very reasonable cost. After the retaining wall was installed, Rodney came back and installed the pool with precision. He knew exactly how long it would take and set up the timing for the water to be delivered. We were swimming in 4 days after the pool was filled. The last few weeks of August we enjoyed the pool... We had Rodney come to build our deck and he produced a deck that we just cannot wait to use next year. It is beautiful and exactly what we wanted. We are sooooo pleased with our experience at Eastgate Pools and Spas and will recommend them to as many people as we can. Rodney, I just cannot say enough good stuff about this guy. He is very professional and Eastgate should be thrilled and proud to have him on staff. Thank you all at Eastgate for giving us a great experience!!!

Second time I have hired Justin for work in my backyard. The first time he was at my home was to put down stones to control a run off problem I was having. He also planted some plants and edged. This time he added the stone work on the other side of my property, cut back some bush, clean up an area and added grass and straw. I will hire Justin again whenever I need yard work done. He responses to my calls and shows up when he says he will. The work is completed as requested and they clean up after themselves. Great company to hire

Bill was very professional from the very beginning. He got back to me when I called and left a message for a quote within the week. He came by the house and described what would be included in the quote. Within a couple of days Bill called back with the quote and we talked about timing. I accepted his quote and told him he could start any time and gave him a check for half up front. Bill was able to start the job early while I was out of town and by the time I got back on Thursday afternoon it was poured. The next day Bill finished the job by filling in around the driveway with top soil and planting seed. I was very happy with his services and would not hesitate to recommend him to others

We had sewer problems due to tree roots, and out plumber suggested we call Walt Biggs Excavating to install an outdoor cleanout for access for the machine he needed to use. We thought we had a little time to think about it, but New Year's Eve the plumbing system backed up. I called Walt Biggs Excavating New Year's day, and he was able to set up a time Monday afternoon (he had another job Monday morning and thought it would be finished). He called Monday and let me know that the morning job developed problems and he couldn't make it, but would be out Tuesday morning. I think he was very busy, but knew we were without sewer sevice & made time for us. He came out Tuesday with a small backhoe, and was very polite & friendly. They did the job very quickly ( a few hours), and the area looks very level & smooth, and the cleanout is installed & ready. Over the phone he estimated a slightly higher price, but the job went quickly enough that it cost less, which was a nice suprise. He seems to be a very positive & honest guy, and we plan on having him come out this spring to run a camera down the system and make some further inprovements -- he had some good suggestions, taking into account our budget & old sewer system. Over all, a very positive experience and we will definitely be using this company again
