He reviewed my situation and came back with a recommendation that included changing the return duct size. Other companies that looked at the system were just going to change like-for-like. I intended to buy a coupon on Angie's List to have my heat pump serviced. When the guys arrived, they informed me that the coupon could be used on either the indoor or outdoor unit (not both), so I opted for the outdoor unit. Even though they only cleaned the outdoor unit, the tech (Chris M.) was VERY helpful and informative about how heat pumps work and answered all my questions (we had just moved into the home and had never had a heat pump before). We will definitely be using them in the future to regularly service our unit

They did an excellent job completely replaced both the heat pump and air exchanger (furnace) including the copper tubing to from heat pump to air exchanger… very thorough cleaning up after the job, cleaner than when they began. Called Thompson (HELP) because we had a "membership" with a monthly fee for discounts on work. Our heat pump had died a few months back and we knew we probably needed a heat pump and furnace. After looking at the heat pump two men started the heavy sales pitch. It went on and on and at the end the bottom line was the new units would cost $14,500. I don't know anything about heat pumps or furnaces but I knew that the quote was outrageous. I asked them for a quote on repairing the heat pump and they said someone would call about it. Well, no one every did and I went to another company I found on Angie's List and they did the job for $7,500. I honestly don't know how Thompson (HELP) stays in business when you look at all the F reviews on Angie's. And guess what? The "membership discount" did not apply to the heat pump and furnace replacement or the discount was something like 5%

After getting multiple quotes, and discussions with each company, I decided to go with Logan Services to replace our heat pump. Our salesman, DeAndre was the main reason we went with Logan. He is very sharp, confident and wanted to ensure we had the right product for our home. Everything DeAndre stated was carried out by our installers, Travis and Garrett. This included reviewing their checklist to make sure I knew what was occurring before, during and after installation. No issues or concerns with the installation. Both installers were on time, experienced and knew their stuff. We purchased a 4 Ton heat pump and everything was removed and replaced (including some sheet metal work) the same day. I called Baker early in the morning to say the exterior fan of the heat pump was not working. The lady who answered reminded me to change the thermostat to Emergency until a technician could visit. We made an appointment for early in the afternoon. The tech called to say he could be over early if that was OK. He examined the system, found the exterior fan frozen , and freed it. He told me what to do to avoid the problem . I paid up, and we were done. Good job, and I can put a short roof over the outside fan to keep water from dripping on it

We've had Watkins repair our heat pump several times in the last several years. Access to parts of the unit are in a very tight, very hard to access crawl space. Watkins has always been punctual and professional even when a repair has required several trips. They are careful to clean up when the work's done. They explain the problem completely and give you a good run-down on why it happened and what might or might not happen next. When we discussed whether it was time to replace the unit, they didn't push, but in fact, estimated that, based on repairs over the last few years, it would probably run smoothly for a few more years. And, indeed, it has. It's a family-owned company and they are active in the community. I have trust and confidence in them

There was one issue that popped up a couple days later but they came out to take care of it quickly. No complaints and I will use them again

The roofers response was to check on the kitten, leave their ladder against the tree, and use another ladder from the truck. Their ladder will remain until the job is finished or the kitten decides to leave the tree

We had just had the furnace cleaned about a week earlier, NOT through the home warranty. The person from United noticed the filters were filthy, something the first person had not mentioned. He was able to restart the furnace, and showed us how to do it if it stopped working again. He also arranged to come back to replace a couple of parts. We talked with him about options for furnace replacement, he was helpful and full of information. A good experience

Our 'A' coils froze solid and I called Workman. Earl Sizemore showed up and advised me the evaporator coils were totally destroyed and the system was leaking badly (something I suspected and he confirmed). Earl gave me quotes on 4 different units with different efficiency ratings. Within a week he had a new system installed. Not only that but he placed the unit on the far side of the house instead of right under the kitchen window and not I don't even hear it running. The staff at Workman also filled in all the paperwork for the warranty, extended warranty, the tax credits and the utility company rebates for upgrading to a more efficient unit. I can't say enough good things about this company (the building inspector even told my wife that he hardly has to check a Workman job because they're so good at what they do)

George, the owner of Hogg Brothers and Sons Heating and Air Conditioning Company came out for the work. He was a very nice person. He was very polite. He showed me exactly what the issues were. He even talked to my insurance company for me. Within a few days we had him here installing a new heat pump. We were thrilled with his service. He even told us to call him back if there were any issues but there weren't any. His prices were exceptional. He seemed to be honest which was refreshing. He would call and inform me if he was running late once in a while. I thought that was great. I would recommend this company. I would use his services again in the future

THe serviceman was one hour later than the estimate of 4 - 6 PM (arrived at 7 PM). Diagnosed the problem very quickly and quoted a price of approximately $260 but said that with discounts the price would be about $200 "plus tax." Took him about 45 minutes to do the repair. Final charge was $224. The problem was fixed but the price seemed a bit high. I should have checked the list before we contacted them

We needed a new air conditioner and decided to put in a heat pump (13 SEER) to supplement our gas furnace. Our furnace is only 5 years old so we didn't want to replace both. They came out and looked at our existing equipment and gave us a quote for 3 options - basically 3 different brands. Their price was better than any of the other quotes we got even though it was the same equipment. When they came to do the installation, the option we chose (lowest price) ended up not fitting with the existing furnace, it was too big, so they gave us a different option (higher priced) but didn't make us pay the difference. They re-scheduled the installation of the equipment that would fit within a week and once it was all done, they explained how everything would work. Then the owner called that same day to make sure we were happy with everything. The installer had the same system in his house (hybrid heat - gas + heat pump) and seemed very knowledgeable. In general they seemed to be a trustworthy company and I would definitely recommend them to others. We will definitely use them for service in the future
