We worked with Daniel. He was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. His quoted price was very good. Responsiveness after the work began was spotty. They installed the drain and did the grading and seeding, but the seeding never took hold. He came back a couple of times and tried additional tilling and seeding, which was appreciated. Finally, he indicated we needed more soil. He would supply that for free if we used him for mowing and trimming for the next couple of months. Seemed reasonable. I asked him to write up what he proposed and email it to me, and I never heard from him again (despite several attempts to contact)

Hugo is a good guy. He is fair, responsive, and is able to perform work very quickly unlike many of the big companies in the area. Like dealing with any landscaping service, it's important to be explicit as to what you're looking for -- we tried grass seed, which didnt work. Hugo was responsive, and immediately resolved the issue for us --- clearing the yard and starting from scratch. He then discounted the price of sod to reflect the seed which was lost -- again, very fair and understanding

The work that Keith Carpenter and his crew did was exceptional. We had know idea what to expect and we could not have been more excited and pleased with the job done. I am going to have them due a few more plantings in an area that they laid mulch but did not get any plants to put in it. Keep up the good work

Richard was a smooth talker. I called him for the concrete work, and he talked me into the tree clearing and hydroseeding. His concrete work was very good, but Richard did not do that part. He hired someone else for the concrete work. His leveling out of the yard was terrible. There are ruts up to six-inches deep in many parts of the yard. The hydorseeding never took, and I have had to sod most of the yard. I called him numerous times (probably 30 in all) about fixing the ruts in the yard and re-seeding. He always told me he would be there in a day or two. He never came back. I may have been overcharged. I called two other people about clearing the trees, and they were all close in price, but I talked with another contractor a few months later about some other concrete work, and he said I paid too much for what he had done. I don't feel like Richard is a man of his word. He told me he would guarantee his work, but once I paid him, he ceased to be helpful anymore

Lawn Warriors installed an irrigation system around our entire yard. The installation required that 8" - 12" trenches be dug so that the pipes could be laid. The last step was to lay sod and/or grass seed and straw over the filled in trenches. The installers did so in all areas except for the side yard where there remains simply a trail of dirt where grass was previously. We also had Lawn Warriors re-seed and lay straw in the majority of our backyard, but the seeding was thin and insufficient for what was required and requested. To ensure these issues were addressed by Lawn Warriors, I emailed Greg (the owner of Lawn Warriors) numerous times, then emailed his "customer service department", and left voicemails at their posted phone number. I received a single response to one of the emails stating that they would be back to reseed and to lay sod and/or seed/straw where needed. It took 2 weeks to get that email response and still no responses to the voicemails. Three weeks have since passed without any resolution. Lawn Warriors remains 100% non-responsive to all requests. UPDATE: Last week, Lawn Warriors showed up and laid sod and re-seeded. No phone call; they just showed up

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! They DON’T stand behind their work. My backyard and the left side of my house has some shady areas which makes it hard for my Bermuda grass to grow in full. I had a yard full of moss. Before this company came out I used a substance and killed the moss, turning it black and brown. Moss sits on top of the ground like carpet, so tilling the ground would at least disturb it. They completed the over seed project and started the landscaping project on 4-19-16. They covered my yard with so much wheat hay that the ground wasn't visible. It was piled thick. They didn't bring enough landscape edging so they weren't able to complete the project until 4-27-16 and even then they had to stop and make a run to Lowes to get more edging. I started noticing some grass growing through the hay, I thought it was Fescue grass until my lawn treatment service informed me it was Bermuda grass. He pointed out one small patch of Fescue grass growing. I also started noticing that the landscape edging was coming up and folding over. I went to Lowes and discovered it was coming up because it wasn't installed properly. They used Blue Hawk Black Landscape Edging Roll (installation instructions are included with the product). Only half of this product should be visible above the ground, it's supposed to be trenched and staked in the ground. It was less than a month and the edging was already coming up and folding over. On 5-16-16, I raked up the hay it was a total of 8 Lowes leaf bags, it was then I discovered the ground hadn't been tilled because the black and brown moss that I killed prior to their arrival was still sitting on top of the ground undisturbed. The grass that was growing wasn't Fescue it was Bermuda. I started trying to contact the company on 5-16-16 to address my concerns/issues. I called and sent texts and after getting no response I sent an email. I never received a call back I ended up addressing my concerns/issues through email, creating a paper trail. I requested that they come back out so they could see what I was talking about in person. I told them my schedule was open and all they had to do was let me know when they were available. They wanted me to send them a few of the pictures I took before they would come out, again I told them I thought it was best for them to come out and see it in person. They told me they would look at the pictures and make a determination on whether or not they felt it was necessary to come out and address my concerns/issues. The undertone in their emails was negative and offensive. I finally sent 3 pictures and they replied they weren't coming out and listed several reasons for their decision. All of which were untrue and I have proof in the form of emails, texts, pictures and videos. I have cameras on my property. They claimed the work was completed on 4-16-16, but they also claim they made 5 trips to my house. They claimed they did things that weren't included in the estimate, referencing putting edging around certain mulch areas, however I have an email where I stated I wanted the border around all the mulch areas and asked was this included in the estimate and they replied "Yes ma'am it does. Sorry for the confusion." They still claim they tilled my yard and over seeded with Fescue (it's a shade grass) but said the shade is the reason for its lack of growth. I have one patch of Fescue growing and it's in the shadiest area of my yard. The reason for the Fescue over seed was because it thrives in shady areas unlike my Bermuda grass. I had several non-vested professionals come out and confirm the ground hadn't been tilled/disturbed. They also made mention of me removing the hay (almost a month later) as a reason for the lack of Fescue grass, they said it was supposed to compost into the ground or blow away. They claim they bought up several of their own concerns (excuses) during the project which never happened. They only said these things after I expressed my dissatisfaction with their work. Their work is subpar, IF YOU WANT PROFESSIONAL QUALITY, LOOK ELSEWHERE. I have to pay someone else to redo my project and give me the professional look I was trying to achieve

I contacted Greenmark Landscaping to obtain an estimate. We set up an appointment with John, Project Manager, for Greenmark. He came to our house to evaluate the project and said he would send us an estimate. He was very professional in discussing the job with my husband and I, as well as, told us what to expect. We set a date to have the job done, it was completed in a timely manner. it had been years since we have had grass in our backyard, so was very refreshing to look out our window and see beautiful grass. We have a few other projects to complete and will probably use this service again

I use Angie's List to find contractors. Dirt Tech has incredible reviews so I contacted them. Robert came out promptly to meet with me. I explained what I was trying to do with the back yard and he talked through it with me and togehter we came up with the best plan for me, my dogs, and preserving the naturalness of the area. Robert has a way of working with you in finding ways for things to work instead of why they won't. Robert promptly provided an estimate. His price was within $150 of what i had expected. I sought no competitive bids and felt very good about going ahead with Robert. The work began within a week and was completed in five days as promised despite nasty weather conditions. The work was done very meticulously by Robert and his son, Mitch. He checked with me from time to time to ensure I was satisfied with how things were going. Rain came and Robert worked with what the weather gave him, only opening up the ground to the extent that he could complete before the rain would return. He worked on strips toward the end as the rain became more prevalent. We absolutely love the yard now. Robert turned our lumpy back yard into a park for us and the dogs. We found that if you need grading done, don't hire, a "bobcat work", guy. There's so much more that Robert, a "landscape guy", did in grading and raking that made our yard finish out so great. I will always return to Robert for more work in other parts of our yard. He's so particular and caring for getting it right and getting you satisfied. I received much more than expected. Some unanticipated things came up alng the way and Robert's price did not change a bit. I can't say enough about recommending Dirt Tech. Use them for your work. You'll be writing a glowing recommendation like this too

NEIGHBORHOOD LAWN CARE LLC

This company provides descent routine maintenance but that's all. The problems I had with this company started when I had them remove a tree. It took a week and a half for them to remove the tree and clean-up the mess because they didn't return for several days and left a large pile of wood chips. There were also large gouges in the lawn where they let the tree fall but never filled them in. I had to argue with the owner to come and remove the wood chips as well. There was also another instance where this company was suppose to spray my lawn to kill everything then make several passes in over-lapping and differing directions with an aerator so that the seed had plenty of good ground contact. What I got was a normal aeration and over-seeding job but the bill was three times the cost of a normal aeration job. When I complained to the owner he got irritated and told me what I expected was not what we talked about (even though it was in writing on his quote). The owner did come out two weeks later and aerated again but because it was late in the season the seeding failed to take. The last straw was recently when I aerated and over-seeded myself I asked to hold service for three weeks but the owner refused to adjust the bill at all to reflect the lack of service
Tree work including hauling and disposal. stump grinding.Spreading seed and straw. Home improvement ranging from decks , pressure washing , vinyl siding, painting , concrete, screened porches , ceiling fans ,drywall ,flooring, tile ,hardwood, laminate, backsplashes. All work met or exceeded our expectations. Mr Walker was very professional and provided us with expert advice regarding how to get the desired results with less out of pocket. We'll definitely use them again!
It went wonderfully!!! What a burden off my mind that I’ve finally found a lawn service I can rely on & trust to do what I need, the way I want it done, in a timely manner, with prices that are more than competitive!!!! I look forward to developing a lasting partnership with this company & expanding their services for me, much more than just mowing & trimming
Great! The person sent to do the work was so polite and friendly. He was able to identify the problem, make the repairs quickly and neatly. I couldn’t tell where he did the digging when he was done! Beautiful job.
EXCELLENT, We could not have asked for a better crew! Adam was free with his ideas and at the same time, carefully listened to our needs and performed accordingly! Prime Green was originally contracted to take out some of our trees. One evening I'd asked 3-4 companies for estimates and by 8am the next morning Adam called me. He was on the road and although I needed to leave for my classes by 9:30, he was here walking the space by 8:30 and we settled on job to be done within two days. He went over and above expectations taking down a few other LARGE trees for an excellent price since he was already on the property. In doing so he resolved a nagging problem I wasn't sure how I was going to deal with it. It was then he told my wife he was also a landscaper as his cards clearly state and would appreciate a chance to bid our job. I called Adam the next day and he was back the day after. His bid was NOT the cheapest, rather it was pretty much in the middle, but of the 4 estimates I had, his was right in the middle as far as cost was concerned & the most complete. Adam clearly showed he'd listened to all our needs, concerns to which he provided some creative and artistically pleasing suggestions. As an artist and art teacher spacial relationships are very important to me & I found very few things I needed to counter with his plans - regardless he implemented them without any problems - was totally agreeable to our input, infact did not wish to continue with installation until he had both our approvals. My wife was at work so I sent her the list, she replied we placed the plants and I took her on a flashlight tour at 8pm when she came home. she agreed with the entire layout and the plants went into the ground the next day! We have a new frontage, a new island, new borders along the driveway and alongside the road in front of house. In addition, front yard was recreated, seeded and wheat straw bread, back yard aerated, seeded and wheat straw was spread....they even trimmed off unsightly limbs about the perimeter so there's now a symmetry in the overall look and feel of the job. All in All a post excellent experience and the most painless 3 days of 'landscape construction' either of us could imagine. Well Done, Very Well Done! Cost of the job (below) includes the 1st trip to clear the trees in prep for landscaping
Pedro is very professional and always on time. I have used him for years and he takes care of everything, including the stuff we don’t notice. I highly recommend him.
We had an annual contract with this company. We were looking for an alternative to the company we had used for 8 years. Our prior company was hit and miss because they did not do the back yard if the dogs were out however, they would only give us 12 hours?notice of when they were coming. My first question to Weed Man, Palmetto,GA, is, are your service reps afraid of little dogs (Chihuahuas)? They stated that these type dogs, if friendly, would not create a problem. I assured them the dogs were friendly. When proposing the service, which was less expensive by $3.00 per treatment from the previous company?s treatments, the rep told me that he would recommend additional treatments (3) which would make my yard come back stronger and greener. I asked him if he was so sure why not provide the additional treatments and if it works I will pay for the three additional treatments and he stated he could do this. Long story short, the way it worked is they billed me for these first and then told me if it did not work they would retreat but could not credit the service fee to me. This was totally different them what was discussed and understood on my part and I reluctantly paid. In September 2015 they provided this final, additional treatment, and a regular treatment in November 2015. When I received the bill, in December, and saw that I was past due for September I called and discussed with them the understanding the rep and I discussed. I was still upset about paying for these additional services. They informed me that I needed to talk with the rep that I discussed the service with. This took a couple of weeks for him to call back. The result of this back and forth issue wound up having me pay for both the September and November service in early January. Although I did inform the rep if my yard did not come back stronger and greener I would be calling them. It is now April 7, 2016 and I noticed my yard not looking stronger and greener, rather worse than when the previous company serviced it. I called and asked when they were there last and they told me November and that since I had a past due amount the service contract was canceled. I told them I paid this in early January. When they looked up the account and realized that I had paid she said it must have been an oversight and that I had missed one service and the next one was due (so almost 2). I was upset and at their excuse for dropping my service. They on the other hand had a "oh well" attitude and made me feel like a deadbeat. Like if I hadn't not been a late pay this would have never happened. I believe there sales rep suckered me into these additional treatments without having the authority to stand behind his word. I asked the office secretary to have the manager contact me and she said she would. I did not hear from him so I am assuming they don't want my business. Based on the actions of this vendor if they don't honor their word and services why are they allowed to be on Angie's List? I am an independent business owner just like Weed Man of Palmetto, GA. The difference between my business and this one is we honor the words spoken to our customers no matter what employee speaks them. Our employees know what to and what not to promise to customers. It is not about making the sale rather what will gain the customer?s loyalty and long term relationship. Based on the outcome of this relationship over the past year I would caution anyone contemplating a service relationship with Weed Man of Palmetto, GA or Weed Man anywhere as it would appear the parent corporation is OK with these sales and service tactics. Weed Man, Palmetto, GA, I have copied and will post to other sites as well as I felt this message should be available to all potential customers no matter where they search on the web
They came out and give me a quote. Most of the others just road by my house and didn't stop. Very well pleased with the service Vicking provided, very prompt. Done what he said he would do. Thanks again.
I always wanted to be notified 24 hours in advance, so that my family would know why there were people in the yard. ?Recently I have re-seeded areas that I did not want fertilizer on until such time the grass was taking hold. ?Weed Man was to get an OK from me before service. ?The technician called, he was in my driveway, couldn't get me on the phone, so took it upon himself to do it anyway. ?He assumed it was OK. ?I was not humored with his assumption. ?I have terminated my service with Weed Man. ?Aside from today's episode they have been good about coming out, but I can't say that I really have seen any benefit from their service
I pay a year upfront so I get a 5% discount. I think it is about 800 bucks for a year. They are punctual. They respond, if I have an issue, quickly and I think their price is fair.
I was very pleased with them. I would probably use them again. They actually return my calls. They did a great job. I use their website and they called me back. They were affordable and they did a great job. I am going to have them help do some grading in the spring and to help plant some seed in my side yard
It went great! They are the perfect company to do the job in excellence. They showed up, and did exactly what was needed, and cleaned up to perfection.
