He was very patient with us (I am quite curious and ask a _lot_ of questions) and had a great sense of humor (not required for this work, but we very much enjoyed it). In particular he listened closely to what we wanted to do, and would often make a suggestion on how it could be done better - we went with his suggestions about 3/4 of the time (because they were better than our ideas). The cost was very competitive (we had one other bid that was about 40-50% higher). Both he and his crew were highly respectful of us, and we really enjoyed interacting with all three crew members who worked on our pool. They were very friendly and patiently answered all our questions

They determined that the issue was probably in the plumbing where PVC and fle pipe were used. They came up with a game-plan to repair. It was determined that the flex pipe had probably collapsed and had to be replaced The team did all the excavating and then removed all collapsed pipe then replaced with mnew PVC. They completed most all of the work within a day and made sure all woak was done professionally and very mneatly (they bagged all debris and carried it all away. Job was completed in a a timely fashion and all elements of the project were rated as outstanding

The sales/design person was very patient with me and explained the process thoroughly and the options available, with price considerations for each option. He designed and pool for me, and then we worked together to get a beautiful final design. Then immediately we started working with the Project Manager for my project, and it went very fast after that - he explained how things would work and visited the progress on site often. The PM remained very accessible to me throughout the process, as well as the sales/design person. A&S's communication every step of the way was much appreciated, and all of their subs were very respectful and did amazing, professional work. We were lucky with weather and the whole process was finished with pool fill about 9-10 weeks after initial dig. They worked with me the entire way to make sure that the options I wanted and look I was going for was achieved, and definitely helped me understand how to operate the pool system. This was my first pool build ever and I would definitely recommend A&S to any friend or family. And btw - pricing was the best out there too

"A&S subcontracts nearly every step of the installation and takes no responsibility for their contractors. Decking contractors failed inspection and had to redo decking twice, mediated by customer, not A&S. Raypack heater never had connectivity to Jandy wireless system. A&S took no responsibility for issue and gave up, leaving customer with defective product. Never saw sales representative after breaking ground.

Could not edit previous review, so posting update: Had issues w/ heater and customer service was quick to respond and remedy. Provided name and direct line so I could contact in the future. Appreciate the attention to customer's needs.
