I got their name from a sign of a person in our neighborhood who had their shake roof rehabilitated. I asked them how it went and they were quite happy. I connected with Dan (sales specialist for roof rehab) and he inspected the both the roof of our house and our nearby rental. We walked both roofs with him pointing out the issues. We agreed that one roof was beyond repair, but our house was completely within reason. Since we have solar panels it is very expensive to lift them off for roof replacement, so we were highly motivated to do a repair. He gave us a quote for replacing about 400 shakes, shims, pressure wash cleaning and then conditioning with an oil made for rejuvenating shake. Doing web research was quite challenging, but Dan's advice was readily validated once I understood the issues. The workers seemed to be quite capable. The cleaning process was really messy as there was a lot of stuff that came off the roof. There is a lot of moss this time of year. That said, they cleaned up the mess at the end of the day quite well. They did a thorough job and I walked the roof and it looked very good. That is to say, it was hard to tell what was new or old because the roof looked fine. They use recycled shake so there are no obvious patches, but I could see it was in very good shape. There was one additional thing I requested since I had a known leak where I did a quickie patch in an unobvious spot where flashing came together with a flat roof. It was forgotten, but Sam came back the next day a fixed it. They ask for about 20% down, but did not ask for the final payment until it was perfect. It was not easy to find firms that do shake rehab, because most roofing firms want to replace the roof. Compared to other rehab efforts I have seen I think they did a better job

Superior Window Cleaning
This is the second year we've used Superior to clean our roof after most of the leaves have dropped from our elm-lined street. I called and was given a next-day appointment with a 2-hour window. The two workers came within the allotted timeframe. They completed the cleaning of gutters and roof on our 1600 sf home in one hour. We like that they bag the contents and leave the perimeter of the house clean. We used to get up on a ladder and clean the gutters ourselves but don't want to do that anymore. This is a more thorough cleaning of the entire roof. From first contact to actual cleaning, it's friendly, fast, and professional service--and our roof was ready for the winter rains

The before and after pictures shows the quality of the clean and when I sent it to the solar panel company (reason for the moss cleaning), they were happy with the clean too. I was super impressed with Chris’ professionalism and communication. I later found out that he also does window cleaning as well as gutter guard installation. Superior Window Cleaning
We live in an older house and will need a new roof and gutter in the next year. The person who provided us with roof and gutter cleaning service for the past few years has developed a major illness and no longer able to get on the roof. Naturally, we used Angie's List to locate the resource. I called Andy and spoke with him. He explained the price and their method. I requested him to expedite to this week so that we complete this before the rains start. Despite the short notice of only 5 days, Andy agreed and put us on the schedule.
