The fact that this place does any business at all must mean that customers are encountering some sales person other than Baron Long. I went to Pacific Sales to buy a replacement fan for an older two part kitchen ventilation system.That unit had been discontinued and I had to buy a newer model. After installing the component and new duct work I discovered that the electronics were incompatible. This meant buying a new range hood. Returning to the store with this in mind I approached the person who sold it to me, Baron Long, and was met almost immediately with an aggresively defensive attitude.He said it was the manufacturers problem and I should deal with them. What did I expect him to do? I began to say it would be nice to find a solution, but was resigned to the idea of buying a new range hood. He cut me off in mid sentence saying,"That isn't going to happen", I ordered it and if I didn't like it I could return it, but he would charge me a restocking fee. Needless to say I didn't spend my $1400 there. I went to another dealer in San Rafael (Standards of Excellence). When I described my experience to him he guessed the name of the person I dealt with. They showed me several options and took me through several spiels about that. It was relatively similar to everything I read online. I liked that.
