Henry and co. renovated our entire backyard and I would absolutely work with them again. I've worked with probably a half dozen different contractors and builders over the years and my experience with Henry was absolutely one of the best. He is great to work with — collaborative, professional, responsive, and flat out a really nice guy. This was a huge project with many twists and turns along the way — months of heavy rain, giant tree roots in unexpected places, faulty irrigation valves, on and on. Henry always persevered and figured out a way through. When we made changes I never felt nickel and dimed. And it truly felt like he had our best interests in mind. What a massive change of pace from other contractors who seem to be primarily concerned with closing out a project (despite open issues) so they can move on to other things. I understand that we wanted this job at the peak of and quot;Fence Seasonand quot;, but after being jerked around by other fence companies (their excuse after I get a no-show or no-call backs and quot;We are too busyand quot; and and quot;Oh, I didn't make it to our scheduled appointment because I went on vacationand quot;), I am so glad that I found a company that has acted in a very professional manner from the person answering/returning my calls to the foreman and workers who did an excellent job. Jack was my main contact and was able to give me a quote right away and an estimate a start/completion date (and more importantly...no un-returned calls!!!). Although I got cheaper quotes from other companies, I went with this company foremost because of the people but also product-wise: they secured the fence posts in a 3 feet concrete holes vs 2 feet for others and 1 1/2 feet (this is for a 7 feet fence!) and they have the longest warranty (with better coverage). The final product is beautiful

Great! My house is about 80 years old; I discovered that there was a leak from a (nearly) roof top patio down into the dining room below, Ben came and assessed the situation, and was very up front about the price being determined by what they might find after they pulled up the patio flooring, and unfortunately it was kind of a mess under there. Ben explained the process and pricing very clearly and set up the different crews for each layer of the the tear out and reinstall. They were great about working with my schedule and it got done pretty quickly especially for a multi step project. Everyone was very polite, cleaned up and carted away any debris after every layer and they were even very nice to my dog, (who can be a little annoying ) it looks good now and I am confident that the waterproofing is solid. Will definitely rehire them for for future projects

We obtained three quotes and chose Highland Lanscape over the others because we knew Lee Tavare had been doing this type of work for a very long time and he works one project at a time. He doesn't leave until it is completed. The first time Lee and his sidekick Manuel stepped on our property, it was apparent this was not their first project. They arrived at 8am each morning, worked efficiently, quickly, and most importantly they offered ideas that improved the scope of the project. Lee, the owner, was here everyday, all day, from start to finish as promised and was hands on with the actual labor. We communicated constantly. Lee is very cost conscious and attempted to keep costs down on the project. He is a deep thinker too. Lee and Manuel were very easy to talk to and they understood what our needs were. Minor changes that we asked for were welcomed with no opposition. We are pleased with the quality of the finished product. Due to the early winter weather we are now experiencing, Lee will return to our home in Spring 2013 to continue with more yard landscaping which will entail replacing the front and backyard lawns. new sprinkler systems, new drainage systems, replacing shrubbery, adding planting areas and adding aggregate to our driveway. We are looking forward to working with Lee again. More review to following after this is completed. When you shake Lee's hand, you will know immediately he is a worker and not a fellow from the and quot; front office and quot;. !!!!
