Great Service, Great Price, Great Work. Vincent contacted me immediately after we made a request for Asphalt professionals though Angie. He visited our property the same day, scoped the project and gave us a very good price. A few days after our project started and was completed within a two day period, according to plan. Vincent gave us advice for how to maintain the pavement and suggested some treatments in the future. The pavement looks great, and we got very good comments from our neighbors. Got an estimate, no problem. Waiting for good weather (which took quite a while, but I got on the list in the winter), then because of a change weather, they came on a Saturday. Great for me. Two nice workmen came on time. They filled the cracks, left for while while they dried, then came back and filled another crack they had missed. Then they applied the sealer, and the guy who does this is really experienced. Very careful and detailed, like a house painter goes right up to the edge freehand. Impressive. They were done before lunch. They put up cones to prevent anyone driving on it, and of course, a squirrel ran right through the wet sealer...when they came back the next day to remove the cones, he fixed the squirrel tracks pretty well and a track where my gate wheel had been. Frank Carrasco was very responsive to calls and emails, always returned messages within a day. The estimate was clear and professional, and the work was done exactly when promised and as promised. It was all completed and cleaned up within two days. His work crew were competent, pleasant and efficient, and took care to cause minimum disturbance to us and our neighbors. Both deposit & final payment by check without seeing finished product. A BIG mistake on my part as I lost leverage of with holding large payment!!!!! Did not complete paving job as expected/contracted. Driveway area is now smaller than original which makes it necessary for me to run off driveway edge to make turn with boat trailer, thus causing driveway edge to crack and give way after time. Job site left messy with broken pieces of pipe and drain cover scattered on ground and excess gravel left on NEIGHBORS lot. Oil stains ruined garage door paint. Met with me about my concerns; told me he would complete paving job to my satisfaction. Further told me to have the garage door painted and have him billed. I paid for painting (good thing) as I believed his comment about finishing the paving to my satisfaction was good faith effort to make it right. Have since found friends in the same area that have had problems with his returning to handle any problems. Work done in May, 2011. We had a 50 year old asphalt driveway that was uneven and badly cracked. We had hoped we could get by with just grinding and filling the cracks and coating the whole surface with asphalt filler. The result was unsatisfactory. After the repair the surface was just as uneven as before, and the patches over the cracks were still visible. Moreover, the cracks themselves reappeared shortly after. We then hired another contractor Mark Raine who recommeded that the old asphalt be dug out and replaced. He also recommended separating the new asphalt from an adjoining garden by inserting trex boards. The old asphalt had just been cut away when the area was recently landscaped. Mark did a very professional job in a timely manner and at a very fair price. The driveway looks great now. We used Method Paving to enlarge and pave our driveway. We had an existing asphalt driveway that was narrow and had 10 feet of useless bushes on the side. We got three bids for a new driveway and Method was our pick because the price was competitive and Rick's personal commitment to detail sealed the deal. Rick (the owner) personally came out and spent a couple of hours walking us through his recommendation for the driveway. He gave us a lot of good advice (from his years in the business) and a drawing that detailed exactly what work would be done. He then sent us photos of previous work and a list of driveways that he had done. We drove to all of the properties and they looked gorgeous. We met three of the owners who all praised Method's work. All had glowing reviews and nothing negative. His crew has been with him for years, which also gave us confidence. We soon realized that our porch would look a lot better if it was also upgraded during the paving. Rick also gave us a bid for stone paving that would match our existing walkway. He had a crew of experienced stone layers that was able to interweave the new stone into the existing walkway so that it looked very natural. It is very hard to tell that the walkway had been installed 10 years before the new porch. The crew came out and did the entire job in exactly the time frame that was given us. Our BIGGEST mistake was saying "no" to the sealant. We just thought it was an add-on that we probably didn't need. WRONG !!! By the third day on our beautiful new driveway, there were tire tracks everywhere. I called Rick in a panic and he quickly scheduled the sealant. I personally scrubbed the tire tracks off the driveway. Don't make the same mistake we did! Say "yes" to the sealant. It looked AMAZING after it was done and we have not seen tire tracks on the stone after that. The walkway also turned out great. We had a couple of concerns and Rick personally came out to address them. He had his crew return to remove some spots and it looked great after that.
