They were in constant contact with me to let me know where they were and when I could expect them especially since they encountered a lot of traffic on their way to my appointment and made every effort to get to me as soon as they could. They were the last mile carrier, and ended up having to deliver over 300 miles away from their warehouse with a pick up truck to a very remote rural location and took it upon themselves to work through difficulties with the original carrier instead of leaving it up to the consumer to do. When I had the interior of my house painted 5-6 years ago, I moved various items "temporarily" out to my patio to get them out of the way. This was in addition to the existing patio furniture. Over the years, I added more things, but I only retrieved a couple of items. The squirrels chewed on anything paper or cardboard and the patio furniture rusted. I had been meaning to get rid of the mess for some time, but never took action. Today, I was looking at the mess and then looked at the hauling ads I had cut out of the local papers. I suddenly decided it was now or never, so I went online and looked at 2 of the companies. When I entered my zip code at 1-800-GOT-JUNK, up came a calendar with dates available this week, and it happened today was open. Then I checked Angie's List and the reviews were satisfactory. This was late morning and I got a 2:00 - 4:00 appointment window. Well before 2:00, I received a call saying they were running late on a job and would be here at the end of the window, which I agreed to. At just about 4:00, the truck appeared. The two young men looked over the project and estimated the cost. I really didn't care, since I just wanted it all removed, and the maximum for a full truck seemed reasonable (from the web site, I found the pricing is based on the amount of the truck filled). I told them exactly what I wanted and they began filling the truck. I had a computer monitor and a small tv in the mess, so I was informed it would be an extra $20 each, which was also on the web stie. The web site also indicated normal time for this sort of job was around 30 minutes. They arrived at 4:00 and drove away with a 5/6th load at 4:45, which included some cleanup. They are amazing. They show up on time, jump out of their truck and haul the junk away. They took away mattresses, bed frames, sofas, bags of trash, boxes, curtains, lamps and yard furniture and they were upfront about all the charges. Had a great experience with Junk King. Was given an appointment a couple of days out from when I called to get a free estimate for clearing out items from a storage space. On the day of the appointment the dispatcher called me to inform me that the crew might be delayed but in fact the crew ended up arriving within the time window that I was given. The crew (Mike & co) was very professional and provided an estimate that seemed very reasonable. They were not pushy at all and got the job done well within the time they said the job would take. They cleaned up thoroughly after they were done. Also appreciated the fact that although I had asked them to clear out the entire storage space they used good judgment and checked about certain items with me before disposing them. When I called two companies, Marc was the one who answered in person rather than my getting voicemail. He was driving, but pulled over to stop and write down my information. He was very nice on the telephone. He came the next day, I think, or within a few days, and he kept me apprised of his progress on 680 from San Jose to Dublin, which was crammed with traffic on a Friday afternoon, so he was a bit delayed by the traffic. But he still arrived pretty much on time and he took away all of the items himself, even though my friend and I offered to help him carry the large sofa. He removed its legs and hauled it out the door to his pickup truck without our help. He was very cheerful and friendly and gave us both business cards and said he would be happy to come and help us with hauling or clean-up at any time, even though we live far from San Jose. Outstanding service and value because everything they took was covered under the $99 Angie's list Big Deal! They were 20 minutes past the appointment time but they called me prior to the appointment time to let me know they were running rate and called again 10 mins before arriving. They were very accommodating, polite and fast. We had 2 large CRT TVs which they had to carry down 30 steps. Would definitely use them again...even without the Big Dealshow more

I called up Marc's number to get an estimate. I was pleasantly surprised when he said his brother, George, could come over and provide a free in-person estimate at 2 pm that day! George was running late so Marc called me to let me know-that was very courteous of them. George came by in a bit, gave me a very reasonable estimate, and told me he could pick up the junk that day. George returned an hour later with this truck and picked up all my junk. He brought another person along with him and it took them about 25 minutes to get everything into their truck. The whole experience with Marc/George was great. They were very courteous, timely, provided reasonable estimate, and worked quickly/efficiently. My appointment was between 08:00-09:00 and the fellows from Rhino arrived at 08:30! Since I had the coupon ($111.00), I asked them to fill the truck up to amount of the coupon. I was pleasantly surprised that they got almost everything in the truck and I had had quite a pile of junk/furniture! I asked Manny how much the rest of the junk would cost and it was only $45.00. They hauled away a queen sized mattress, queen sized bed frame (large wood head board, foot board, sides and wood slats), large heavy wooden 8 drawer dresser, old HUGE BBQ grill, large old wooden desk, wood shelf unit, 2 wood chairs, a large rug and two gigantic bags of garbage. Additional I paid for, a couple of large dog beds, a large broken dog carrier, a stack of boards, a bunch of broken plastic containers, a pile of broken terracotta pots, miscellaneous wires and more junk. All in all I would rate their service at 100%! They arrived within the time they said, they were courteous and had the job done in 30 minutes! They also swept up the back yard where all the furniture/junk was stored. I felt they were honest and I really got my monies worth. I will definitely use them again and feel confident referring Rhino Hauling to othershow more
