Sergio's Crown Molding
Sergio and his wife arrived early every morning and completed the job in 4 days. He pre-painted the moulding with a spray gun so the finish was very smooth. They were meticulous in caulking and touch up painting after installation. The house was left very tidy at the end of each day. Extremely polite and professional. Sergio has been in business for 10 yrs. and no one could beat his prices, not even if I did it myself. The moulding was solid wood from California and not the cheap stuff you find at a home improvement store. Definitely will hire him to complete more windows and door casings as we progress on the remodel of our 30 yr old home

Anthony's Make Ready
We just moved into our new 3200 sq foot house which was covered in cream colored trim. All the doors, baseboards, and crown moulding were all varying shades of cream. We had multiple painting companies come out to give us a quote and chose to go with Anthony. Throughout the whole process he has been very accessible and eager to please. Overall the crew did a very good job. The cream color proved very difficult to cover and they were happy to do as many coats as it took to make sure no more cream showed through. I did notice a few spots that could do with an additional coat and Anthony had no problems sending painters out right away to make sure I was completely happy. This was a big job that required a lot of attention to detail. I think they did very well and we would use them in the future for other jobs

Top Quality Cabinets
When we did our remodel, Top Quality Cabinets was the only provider we hired that didn't have an Angie's List rating at the time (March 2013). We loved the fact that Jerry (owner) is a veteran, his quote was less expensive than all the others we received (Home Depot, Lowes, Parrish, Lone Star Construction, K&M Builders, et. al.) and he offered a superior product. His website was also impressive. We hired Top Quality Cabinets to build 42" upper cabinets, a new cabinet pantry & new cabinets for two bathroom vanities. We made our initial payment installment and all seemed to go according to plans. Jerry made sure the boxes were installed in time (April 2013) for the floor to be laid, the countertops to be installed & for the electrician to install over cabinet & under cabinet lighting. The quality of the boxes are second to none: thick REAL wood, not plywood, better, longer screws (not cheap nails) and the brackets were also superior. The light rail turned out beautiful as did the crown moulding. One quirk: the crown moulding in the half bath was installed upside down but it's not noticeable since the rooms are not visible from one another. Even 8 months later, when we had an issue with a particular drawer glide, Jerry came out to address the issue. Although the project took longer than planned, we would contract with Top Quality Cabinets all over again. His attention to detail, pride in workmanship and customer service have made us his biggest fans

Sergio's Crown Molding
We purchased a new custom home in September 2011 and have always wanted to install crown molding. Recently the time was right to contract the job, so I did some research on Angie's List and found Sergio's Crown Molding. Sergio came out to our home and began measuring all the wall dimensions as he surveyed the layout of our home. The design of our home includes a number of angles, slopes, and sharp curves in the layout of the walls. Sergio was up to the challenge and assured me he could make the precise cuts necessary to bring everything together. The job called for approximately 3,000 square feet of crown moulding. Sergio purchases the supplies a few days prior to the job and paints the wood in advance. Sergio allotted 4 days to complete the job since this was going to be a huge task. He showed up on Monday August 4th right on time. Sergio and his wife Rosa work together as a great team. They made great progress each day and actually finished the job one day earlier than expected. They cut the wood pieces out on the front sidewalk, installed the crown molding and then went back over it with a sealant and touch up paint. They are very careful, clean, and courteous. They finished the job on Wednesday afternoon and the final product was absolutely beautiful. We are so impressed with Sergio's craftsmanship and ability to make some of the precision cuts required to seamlessly bring it all together. They cleaned up very nicely when the job was complete and you would never know we just went through a 3 day crown molding install project. Our home went from khaki walls and ceilings that seemed to just run together, to having a high end finish that frames out our rooms and makes the house look so luxurious. Sergio's Crown Molding
Sergio showed up on schedule one the first visit to give me an estimate for the crown moulding that we wanted to have done in the house. He was very courteous and prepared with samples and references of his work. Sergio worked with me on choosing the right moulding and color for our home. I scheduled an appointment with him to complete the downstairs moulding. A few weeks later Sergio and his wife Rosa showed up promptly, early Saturday morning. Their efficiency is amazing. They had the moulding primed and painted...ready to install. He measures and cuts and she fills in nail holes and cleans up the moulding. We had to cut the day short and they were very understanding, but wanted to come back on Sunday to finish. Sergio came back and finshed the project in just a few hours. The moulding edges were finished with caulking and all the nail putty areas are re-painted, to give a flawless appearance. Needless to say we are extrememly pleased with Sergio and Rosa's work...they were wonderful and very quiet. My neighbors are in awe and I think he will be getting some calls

A great experience, start to finish -- Sergio arrived on time to provide an estimate, with sample moulding in hand. We discussed what I wanted done and I provided him with the specific paint color/number to use, to match the rest of our moulding. On the first day of the project, Sergio was here by 9am (a bit later than the 8am time he had quoted me) and he and his wife were like machines! They worked very hard, and very quickly -- and the moulding looked beautiful. He had painted it off-site and had used the wrong finish, but once we went and bought another gallon of paint in the right color, he repainted all of the moulding once it was up (and patched/caulked). Amazing attention to detail -- the moulding looks fantastic and I've already recommended him to many of my neighbors

Paul responded to our request for quote promptly and took the time to listen to our concerns and then walked us through how he would make the needed repairs. Paul’ team arrived on the date and time scheduled. The team members were extremely competent and professional. They were careful to cover and protect our furniture to prevent damage. Paul was in and out several times a day to check on the status of the project, and spend many hours personally working on some of the more difficult areas. He was very attentive to our concerns and ensured that we were satisfied with repairs. I have used several remodeling firms in the past, but Paul’s Drywall’s competence and professionalism far exceeds them all. Clear Choice Remodeling
6 hours of handyman service, but job took just over 9 hours. I did have several small jobs to be done, but I feel that more time was taken to get the things done than necessary. The work done was satisfactorily. One woman was sent, and she did a fine job, but when hanging crown moulding on 12 ft ceilings, another set of hands would have helped the job to be completed more smoothly and I would guess in a lot less than the many hours it took. I had painted it, it was only the installation. I know these things take time, but that seemed a little excessive. I had a small solar light installed, paint around 2 doorknobs, some caulk replaced around a bathroom shelf, and the moulding. That took all six of my hours, plus I had to pay an extra 150.00 for extra time at 45.00/ hr. I then had to caulk around the top edges of the moulding myself (because it was a bit crooked), and she had already been here the ENTIRE day, finishing the moulding she'd started from the day before. No, it wasn't just 4 plain corners. There is one corner that has an angle. But still, being a professional, I'd have thought it would have gone smoother and quicker. In all, I think that almost 400.00 for those services was a lot. I also discussed having some switches rewird, and was told by the owner it would be $100.00 per switch. When the proposal came, it was for $625 (for 5 switches). Also asked about getting the 'tray' part of my bedroom ceiling painted, and was quoted $425.00. That was with me supplying the paint! Really? Just to paint the 6" vertical part of the 'tray'? Not the walls, not the whole ceiling....just the tray part. I think their prices are too high, and without the Angie's list deal, I would never have hired them based on those rates. Even then, I think it was over priced if it were taken at a per job to time ratio. I give an A on professionalism, just because the woman who came to do the work was very nice. Carol was her name. I actually felt sorry for her having to do the moulding by herself

This is a top notch team! Anthony, the owner, was great, he came in and looked at the project and had a written estimate within 48 hours and his price beat the competition! Jason, the project manager, was there daily to get the day going and his craftsmen were total professionals. Jason kept me in the loop at least twice a day on the status of the project and was very receptive to my requests. I had crown molding installed and their carpenter was excellent; all edges were nice and tight in spite of the pitch of my ceiling. The painters came in and finished the job, they were just as professional. Everyone cleaned up after themselves every day. My house looks very nice. I wholeheartedly recommend them without any reservation! I plan to use them again for my next project

Shaw Company Painting & Remodeling
All of the work performed with the exception of the cabinet hardware they installed was a complete disaster. The granite on the bar area had to be removed and reinstalled because they did not cut it correctly at the angles, and it was not leveled. They fixed this but still is not leveled and you can tell it's not. The back splash which was marble and Onyx was installed poorly. Many of the sections had to be removed and reinstalled numerous times. Called another contractor to re-do the job. The ceiling where the lights were removed had to be re done 3 times and still did not look right. Called another contractor to fix it. The crown moulding was cut wrong, and not installed properly. Looked like it was caved in where it was cut. Called another contractor to fix it. I am deeply sadden that I have to give this kind of a review, and I am sorry that I had to go through this terrible experience

We had noticed that the wood at the top of our chimney was beginning to rot under the metal chase. We called AAA Services on a Monday morning. Initially I wasn't pleased that there would be a charge for the estimate visit but on hearing that the charge would be deducted from our bill, if we used his services,we went ahead and made arranged for them to come Wednesday morning. Roland arrived on time and immediately set about inspecting the chimney. Within half an hour we had an estimate delivered to our computer and told him we were going to use his services. I called his office to set up a service date. Roland arrived on time on the designated day. It was very hot and humid and we have a very high two story house with the chimney rising far above the roof line. He spent most of his time on our roof. He had all the right equipment and hardy plank to replace the wood. We provided the paint. He had estimated it would take 4-5 hours and at exactly 5 hours he was done. It looks great and we would definitely use his services again

Walter did such a wonderful job on my drywall repair that was extensive after the freeze in February and ruined nearly my entire first floor. You cannot tell that my drywall was cut half way up the walls. There are no seams at all. He also did an awesome job at tiling a bathroom floor and doing my kitchen backsplash. And, he painted my ginourmous foyer and dining room! He was on time every single day. He worked long, hard days and was timely and reliable! He and his family are very personable and we enjoyed having them in our home

We looked for bid from other contractors and got engineers to get us estimates, but we Found Leon Builders and they provided a 3D walk through design and that helps us see and understand how everything would look. We gave them a chance and they did an excellent job in every aspect of the remodel and Leonardo did an awesome job in many stages of the project from inspiring ideas and compensations for additional things that we had not foreseen or we decided to add on as we moved forward in the project

The house hadn't been painted in 31 years and there was a lot of rot. Toned Homes replaced wood everywhere. The dried out wood soaked up the paint and required almost twice what was expected. Like on the previous jobs, Toned Homes didn't restrict work to what was specified in the contract but instead automatically handled all tasks as they were identified

Overall the experience was OK. Some things were completed very well. Such as the wall and breakfast bar. The trim work was not as detailed or as professional as we would have liked. The overall quality of the trim work was only fair. Several of the doors that were hung were not plumb. In all fairness this was a difficult house to work in and nothing was square to begin with. The contractor was always punctual and friendly. However, he needed detailed instructions and often would get side tracked. I would recommend him for one specific task at a time. I also recommend you get a bid for each task rather than paying by the hour

Could have covered couch and chairs work was very dusty. Door to garage did not come out very well, rouch and streaky. French doors will need a third coat of paint, white over white primer. I did not feel right in asking them to put a third coat on as the bid called for two. His Angies add says a 20 percent discount for seniors but he gave a 25 dollar off discount because he said he had forgotten that the larger discount was in the add. I told Keith I would use them again but after every thing dried well and looking at the finished work I am not sure I would. The finish work around the window which was also framed and the door is pretty rough. The crown moulding is very nice and makes the room look bigger along with the lighter walls. Keith and his partner(Don) were very cordial

Don came to the house, gave me suggestions on how best to solve my problems. He gave me bids on the separate portions of the work. He supervised the job, had the sub-contractors rework areas not properly done the first time. He insured the mess was cleaned each evening. His job was completed in the time frame he told me. I always felt that he was interested in seeing that the job was done properly and at a fair price. I was very pleased with this contractor. I can not recommend him highly enough. He saved me a lot of money. The other bidder was more than twice as expensive.
