Two workers came promptly at 7:30 am, the scheduled time, and were here until about 1. They checked out the current panel and realized there was not enough room for the charger on there so recommended the installation of a sub-panel. Moved some of the circuits that were carrying lesser loads to the subpanel and put the car charger on the main panel. There is a bit of snow outside so they used shoe covers and tarped the basement floor. They worked very carefully and explained all the work that needed to be done

Avdulla came to my house the same day that I called him to discuss the job. He looked at the old outlets and wiring, gave me a quote that I thought was reasonable and got to work on the next business day. He replaced the old outlet boxes with larger boxes, he replaced the old BX wiring with Romex (on 2 new circuits) and he replaced the 2-prong outlets with new 3-prong outlets. He finished the job in two days. I was very satisfied with the results

I left Raul a message on a Tuesday and he returned my call in 10 minutes. He was able to come to my house that Friday morning. I appreciated that he called to let me know he was running a few minutes late. He worked very efficiently and practically non-stop. He kept me informed of his progress and willingly answered my questions. He was unable to finish everything the same day (he stayed late on a Friday). He kept in touch the following week to discuss the most convenient day to return. He returned Saturday afternoon and finished everything by evening. He was very professional, yet very friendly. I highly recommend him and will definitely use his services again

They arrived early and looked at the places where I wanted an outlet and at the electrical panel. This was part of a four hour deal through Angie's Place. They explained very clearly why they couldn't do what I wanted and what it would cost to make enough changes to move forward. When I offered to pay them for their time, they said no, they hadn't done enough. I very much appreciated their professional knowledge and honesty about what could and could not be accomplished and when we go ahead with the changes necessary, I will definitely call them to implement them

On October 21, 2014, a large dump truck caught the electric wires crossing over the street, and pulled off the electrical service going to our house. NSTAR (now Eversource) arrived and took care of the downed wires, and partially cut the 30' pipe that had fallen off our home that was blocking the street. It was a pretty big deal. The police had to close our street down because of all the wires. Needless to say our power was out until the electrical service was repaired. It was also during a nor'easter. I called Joe who came by that day to give a**** the damage and give us an estimate. He came back later that afternoon with two other electricians and worked all night through a terrible storm to repair the service. He was able to fix it, and our power was restored! At the same time he brought all our panels up to code. We are very happy with the service and the quality of the work Joe provided

The experience with Carleton was first class all the way. They were prompt from my original outreach for service. They tried to be flexible with timing of the appointment. They showed up within 2 days (would have been 1 day if I responded quick enough) and the service was great. Gareth was a true pro, patiently answered all my questions (and taught me a thing or two about how the outlets and reset switches work), quickly identified the problem and fixed it within an hour including a trip for supplies. I can't recommend Carleton enough based upon my experience
