This was our first contact with Kirk Snyder end it couldn’t have gone better. This was not a simple project. Kirk discovered that the previous installation of our dining room antique chandelier had resulted in a burned out socket and associated wiring. It should be noted here that the chandelier hung from an electrical box that’s 15 feet above the floor in a vaulted ceiling. He overcame surprises along the way so that we can now see our food and leave behind the guesswork involved with the darkened (however jokingly romantic) dinners. Our thanks and appreciation overwhelming transfer to his well deserved recommendation for his expertise. Just call him; you won’t be disappointed! Big or small - he does it all!

They were quick about getting out to inspect our wiring and gave us multiple quotes to give us options on what we wanted to do and an honest assessment about what needed done. We had a large amount of knob and tube wiring which required them to open up our walls but they patched and even matched our textured plaster so now we cant even distinguish where the holes were. The staff electricians were professional and worked late nights to get the work completed as quickly as possible. I would highly recommend Pricelight for anyone looking for an electrician.

He returned my call within a day, took the time on the phone to understand what I wanted, came out promptly the following week to inspect the site at no charge, recommended what needed to be done, and scheduled time to do the work within a couple of weeks. His final price was very close to his original quote, about $500 for four hours of work and parts. The issue was old BMX wiring with loose connections. Not only did he fix that, he also removed a lot of the old wiring that had been left around in the basement ceiling, installed GFCI outlets at key places, and in general brought things up to code in a clean way, which was my main goal.

We chose Chris because of his responsiveness, positive attitude about rewiring an old (over 100 years) 3 story house, and reasonable price. He and his team were punctual, friendly, considerate, and conscientious. They worked consistently throughout the day. Chris brought in an extra guy to help finish the job before Christmas. They did minimal damage to the walls and ceilings, considering what they were doing, and cleaned up any mess at the end of every day. They even patched some extra holes that they had to make when a drill bit got stuck in the dining room ceiling. They put up with our 2 dogs who are constantly under foot and my kids home from school because of the holiday. Chris returned a couple of weeks later to fix anything that we found amiss after such a big job. I would hire him again.

Recent Review: Jason was easy to work with and did an excellent job installing outdoor Ring lights and running power wires through a tricky route from our circuit box to a new min-split heating and cooling unit. He worked very cleanly, and installed everything logically and well. We were worried about extra wires from the side of our house, but he was able to install them in a smart manner, that hid them well. Would definitely work with Jason again.

Recent Review: Well, it took five days and there was a lot of pounding and sawing and noise. We didn't like that but we like having light. Glenn patched all the holes he made in the walls, (not his fault he had to make them). And he did a really good job placing things when I wanted them in one place but he couldn't physically do it. He made things look very nice. He was flexible and accepted that I changed my mind overnight and we weren't doing what I decided on yesterday. He is great at doing what you want but also at giving advice. I value his advice and would always consider his opinion about things. He sees a lot more houses than I do so he knows what you can do and things that I wouldn't think of. His helper is neat and professional too and they work well together. They both tolerated my geriatric dog who would wander into the middle of things when he woke up. I will definitely have him back in a year or two when I decide what I want to do more specifically. Plus, I must have called him three or four times with questions about electricity before my scheduled work time and he always took my call or returned it promptly and answered every question I had.

Recent Review: Sean was very careful to avoid any major damage to our walls in order to make the repairs. Turned out to take half the time they had projected and therefore half the cost. Recent Review: Paul was referred to us by the owner of Pool and Spa Outlet. This turned out to be a great referral. Paul came to the house within a few days of our call. He took his time in reviewing the drawings and talking to us to get a clear understanding of the scope. We received his proposal approximately 5 days later. His price was close to our other bidder but he had a detailed proposal and I was very comfortable that everything was included in his price. Paul's professionalism is top notch. He showed up exactly at the time he said he would to begin the work along with his 2 helpers. You could tell he was prepared and had the rough in work done that first day. Because we were acting as the general contractor, there was a lot of coordination with the other contractors. Paul was very flexible and accomodating. As per our plan, he showed up the day the cabinets were delivered so he could coordinate with our designer and cabinet installers. His work is top quality, he and his helpers are professional and go about their business and are very easy to deal with. I highly recommend Paul and will use him for all of my future electrical work.

Recent Review: The discussion we had with them on all the work was very helpful. They were honest about whether they thought the additional lights could be installed (decided that, without substantial drywall work, they couldn't be done), and identified how they would install the fans. They showed up right on time and got right to work. The fans and outlet were all installed in about 3 hours without any problems. The attic and rooms were cleaned up when they finished the work and no problems with the installation at all.
