"English Lane is fantastic. No-nonsense... gets done what they say they will, on time, at or under the price they quote, and the results are beautiful. I'm willing to pay for that. I had another contractor quote half, charge me in the end double (and what EL had quoted originally), and get it done months later then they claimed. The other contractor also had that they would replace trees that died within one year of planting in the contract, and then later told me "they'd rather not" and I had to chase after them for months. I switched to English Lane thereafter for maintenance and updates, and then did our backyard with English Lane. English Lane replaces trees that look like they won't make it without even asking, and made a set of flowers free that came later than expected. I can't express enough the awful experience with the other contractor, and how much I appreciated and became willing to pay for "no b*******" and "telling it as it is." Not only will I never go back to that other contractor, I will only going forward use English Lane.show more

"We hired Adam and his team initially for a project to demo, design and rebuild our back patio. They were very responsive to all our questions, the price was great, and the end result was beyond anything I could have hoped for. The project started right on time, and they showed up early and finished ahead of schedule. Very responsive to inquires as well. He was very meticulous about ensuring the level and grade of the patio, the stone is fantastic, they installed the proper drainage, and is absolutely beautiful. We were so happy with the end result that we asked him to do our retaining wall upfront for the drive way as well, which also came out fantastic. My patio doesn’t have the furniture yet, so apologies for the mess(still a work in progress!!) But they did relandscape as well :) If you have a project needing to be done, you won’t be sorryshow more

"This was a great experience. I contacted Greg based on his good reviews. I needed some of the existing beds fixed up and a general cleanup and mulch effort. He called me the next day and stopped by the house to see. He told me what he thought I needed, recommended not ripping out a few rose bushes but rather trim them back, and gave me a pretty tight range based on the amount of labor he anticipated. Once I agreed he told me it would be in the next 2 weeks. To my surprise when I cam home the following day it was complete. The cost was the high end of his range, but he also planted a few small things for color which we hadn't talked about and that worked out great. His suggestions worked and the yard looks great!! Greg came by later that evening to check on my satisfaction and give me some advice on upkeep during the summer. I would absolutely hire Greg and his team again.show more

"Adam and his team carefully analyzed my property, made recommendations and quoted me a fair price. The biggest change has been in the quality of the work and how they responded to every request without fail. I've never had anyone comment on 'how good your lawn looks' over the past 10 years. In the past two weeks, I've had several folks mention that "you must be doing something different because I've never seen you lawn look this good!"
