We were long term landscaping customers. The price quoted was fair and we contracted with the company to do the job It rained the day after the lawn was hydroseeded and we noticed ponding around the yard and the seeds floating. We took pictures and alerted the company that the grass seeds appeared to be dead. Owner responded that we hadn’t watered enough and he would split cost of reseeding. We never heard from him again, despite another letter. Very disappointing experience. Will not hire again or recommend

Adam responded quickly via email and we scheduled an appointment for him to scope the job. Estimate was fair. There was a delay in start date which he communicated, no problem. Adam sent care instructions by email. He drove by one day and hydroseeded some bare areas that we had not asked to have done. Professional, good crew, great communication. I highly recommend

We were trying to correct a sloped back yard suffering from years of neglect. Meetings with reps were all pleasant, punctual and professional. Hard-scaping (low retaining wall, steps along house) came out very nice, and the resurfacing/leveling is fine. Only issue is with the results of the hydroseeding. Perhaps I was expecting too much since the backyard is sloped, but after adding loam and hydroseeding, I was hoping to see something a bit more lush, with fewer bare patches and fewer weeds. They have come back to hydroseed a second time to try to fill in the bare spots, but it is still sparse in areas. I paid for ongoing maintenance throughout the summer, so this review is incomplete. Perhaps the best is to come. Update: Bare patches still there, ongoing battle between grass and weeds. They have been out to apply weedkiller (as part of additional program I paid extra for), but jury is still out. They did do hardscaping very well: I was expecting something more from the loam and hydroseeding

AAA Landscaping
Work was done mid October which AAA informed me that was not too late. We ended up with a cold remainder of October with snow so I didn’t think Hydroseed would take. Jason said not to worry and that he would come back in Spring to seed bare spots. Early spring there were many bare spots. AAA did come back as promised and I now have a nice new lawn that I’m very satisfied with

The only thing I would do differently would be to not use their hydroseeding company. I was not thrilled with how the grass came in and the quality of the seed. Otherwise it was a great job

The mulch needs to be described in both sq. ft. and in volume. Meaning how thick it will be when put down. The seed wasn't good. It was a fast growing seed, but not very hardy. It needed a lot of water. The aeration was fine. Roberto needs to improve on what he provides. His workers were hard working, quick and efficient. They were willing to go the extra mile to try to satisfy my needs. But he didn't have the right seed volume

I was a little surprised, I was a little underwhelmed at what they did. I guess I should have read the fine print a little better. I thought they were gonna do an over seeding with the machine. Actually the grass is growing very well, so I guess it worked. I guess the machine was for aeration. I was expecting a more thorough over seed. They were a little hard to reach to schedule. I didn't get a call from them, then I got an automated greeting, so I emailed them. I had to call twice. The first time was a guys cell number and it gave me the office number, and they eventually got in touch with me, but it took a while to schedule

I like to work contractor like him who uses digital communication effectively. Isn't it a whole point of using Angie's, folks? Thus he is the one I would ask to come back to property again

He winterized our sprinkler system for last two year (Fall 2020 & Fall 2021) and turned our sprinkler system in both years (Spring 2021 and Spring 2022). He quoted a competitive price, made it clear what additional charges we could expect (e.g. for replacement of damaged sprinkler heads, or revisiting our home to make adjustments to the sprinkler settings), and patiently answered our questions. Sprinkler system has worked as promised. This year my neighbor hired him too

Rudy and his team did an amazing job. I reached out to Rudy via Angie's list on Wednesday, we spoke that day and Thursday, and on Friday he and his team were on site doing a job above and beyond what I had hoped for. We had a big party on Saturday and the property looked clean, and garnered many compliments. It was not a cheap job, but it was a large job and a little under an acre worth of land they had to deal with, and they did a solid job. Millennium cuts my grass each week. They come unless it is raining and will try to come during the same week unless a holiday. They have the most polite workers and they are neat and clean up all clippings beofre they leave my property. No complaints on my lawn care it looks great when I enjoy it on saturdays

They are fantastic, I would give them an A plus. They are great! They come out and when they are coming out, they call the night before and tell us they are coming. When they come out, they are very personable and answer any questions. They are polite. They are great to deal with and they do a great job. I recommend them really highly. They come every couple of weeks to do one service or another. We have a contract, we pay upfront. We prepay for the whole year and then they just call us and tell us they are coming for whatever they have in mind to do that time. They do crab control, fertilizing, weed control and that kind of stuff. We have somebody separate to mow the lawn. We paid $535, that was our prepaid amount for all services including lawn care and treatment. What I like about them is that it is natural. They don't use harsh chemicals and stuff like that. They do for us something called mosquito ranger. They come out every two weeks in the mosquito season and they spray something and it is always natural. Sometimes it is garlic. The smell doesn't last for too long. We can close the windows and doors and it is not toxic. I am a bank with mosquitoes but I haven't had any mosquito bites in the past two years. They do the entire periphery of our property. They do all around the house, the patio, we have a little deck out here and then they just go all round the house. It has made a tremendous difference. We are able to sit out in the evening with friends and they say, 'What is this, a mosquito free zone? Basically it is. That is separate, you can pay separately for that. It is just an option you can have. It is mosquito and tick control. We have been using them for about two years now. They do the mosquito treatment every two weeks

It took a while to get things going because of other jobs in the queue and rain. Sean said it was a two day job and we doubted him (another company had estimated two weeks!), but he was right. It actually took two and a half days, but close enough. Sean was always on site and the crew was friendly, polite and cleaned up the site every night

I thought they were essentially adequate. The guy who came out was very pleasant and helpful. I was looking for someone more who would provide design guidance and ideas. He did seem like someone who would do whatever I asked him to do but he wasn't necessarily going to volunteer a lot of information about ideas for the property. I have seen work they have done around town and it looked good which was what caused me to call them for a quote in the first place. If you know exactly what you want, they would probably be somebody you want to call and get a quote from. But if you are looking for design support they might not be the best choice

Sean arrived on time as promised. Everything went very smoothly. He met with me and confirmed the project details, then started working immediately. He did not take smoke breaks, worked very diligently and carefully with regard to my grass and home. Took my concerns for grading into account. My neighbor did not want fill spilling into a ditch between our properties and Sean was careful to make sure I did not violate my neighbor and I's agreement. Sean removed the old driveway pieces which were not fill rated and buried the ones that were, he explained to me what I could legally bury and what I couldn't. I was very impressed with his professional demeanor and would highly recommend his services to anyone

I had a septic system installed prior to selling my Mom's home. The septic installer seeded, but I was concerned that grass could grow in July. I called Curtiss about hydroseeding. They looked at the property and suggested that I leave the "septic" seed to grow at this point and call them to re-seed in the fall when I would have more success for the same kind of price. They could have just hydroseeded and I would have paid, but they talked me through the process so I could and did make a good decision, both for the lawn and my pocketbook. Luckily the "septic" service seeding grew grass and the house sold prior to the fall season. I appreciated their honest opinion. I would call them again.
