Reminder that if you want to get the full size images embedded in a .docx file, you can just rename it to .zip, unpack it with a tool that supports zip and you get a folder with all assets and the doc as an XML file.

i've been writing a quick checklist for engineers to check the accessibility of their work before it lands in my in-tray (or Stinky's in-tray). They have to sign a Solemn Pledge.
Solemn Pledge  I have checked all the things above, so if the Accessibility Team see any of these errors, I will accept my punishment wedgie and Do Better in future.

. has hit the nail on the head here. Microsoft got rid of the notion of evaluating developers based on KLOCs (thousand of lines of code) decades ago. It penalizes coders who solve problems creatively/efficiently/both using fewer lines of code than their counterparts.
