The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) announced today that it will waive day use fees at its more than 2,850 USACE-operated recreation areas nationwide in observance of #VeteransDay, November 11. The waiver covers fees for boat launch ramps and swimming beaches. 1/3

Did you know many flood risk management structures have relief wells? They relieve pressure created by water wanting to pass from one side of a project to the other. They help levees & dams made from earthen material keep pressure off the structure so it can perform as designed.
