This review is for packing and moving to storage only. We will find out how well things were packed a number of months from now. All of my dealings with this company have been very professional. I have been impressed with the communication skills of both the office staff (Ashley and Kim) the estimators (Jim and Tom) and the men who came to pack and move our house (Henry, Josh, Alberto, Alex and Lando). The movers were on time and very pleasant and professional. They all introduced themselves when they entered and communicated with us throughout the process. They worked hard the entire day and were respectful of our belongings. Moving is always challenging, and All Reasons made it a better experience.

We can't say enough good things about All Reasons. The office staff answered countless questions we had and helped in coordinating our move day in relation to our close of escrow. The crew showed up on time. The four of them were very friendly, professional and funny! They worked together very efficiently. They were patient as we had to make a few last minute adjustments to where things would go. We would definitely hire All Reasons again.

The men were very prompt and personable. Because we were having our house staged, most of the furniture was staying at the house. (See above) We paid extra to have the safe moved. All Seasons brought two large trucks for this! We did not need this however had to pay for the two trucks. They neglected to pack some drawers in the kitchen, one door that needed to be removed to move an item was not replaced, when the safe was put in the new house, they misjudged the placement and damaged a board of the newly installed hardwood and many of the boxes, marked to be put in specific rooms, were, instead, placed in the garage. One of the movers took two nectarines from the fruitbowl in kitchen. This was very incidental, however when I saw him do this I thought if they take fruit, what else would they take! I felt it was over priced in that very little furniture was moved and much of it was already boxed. I had mentioned that this was to be a two part move in that once the house was sold, I would need the furniture moved to the new house. I will not use this company again. I tried telephoning the company president to voice my concerns with the move, however, she did not return my call even though I did voice this concern on her voice mail requesting her to call me back.

Description of Work
I needed someone to move some furniture out of a storage facility, and into my house. They also needed to move old furniture out of the house. I also needed several big items hauled away. The main reason I went with All Reasons is because they would haul stuff away. It was the perfect solution to my needs.

These guys were amazing! First off, they called me back right away, which is more than I can say for all of the other places I called (some never called me back at all). They followed up quickly and called to confirm my appointment. The day of the move, I was moving out of a rented room, a storage shed and a shared off-site storage facility into a new home and the guys were so great about making sure they got all my stuff and only my stuff. They arrived early, eager to get going, and were super fast, but at the same time very careful with my stuff. When arriving at my new place, they were great about making sure where I wanted everything placed, even taking lots of boxes of books upstairs. There were very hard workers and very nice. They were professional and knew how to get odd shaped furniture where it needed to go. At the end of the day, they even helped me to decide how to arrange the furniture in my living room and helped me move stuff a few times. I would HIGHLY recommend All Reasons moving! I had a fantastic experience!

I got All Reasons to come out to quote a moving job for our office. We were moving the manufacturing area to another building about 500 yards away. They were professional, but the quote was way too high for the average I received. I decided to go with another moving company due to the price.

Quite well. The guys were clearly friendly with a great comraderie that made the whole experience pleasant. They showed up with two semis, two teams and were done in four hours. I was impressed with their cheerful attitude to do anything required, including going back to my residence when I had forgotten a piece of furniture.

Our 3 man team did an outstanding job. They started the day off great by being right on time. They quickly began loading and were able to get all of our stuff out of our apartment in a relatively quick amount of time. They even went into the underground parking area to unload our storage units. After they finished loading, they took a quick lunch break, no dawdling, and arrived at the new house maybe 30 minutes later. The unload process was very fast. They were very careful on our laminate floors and put everything into position where we wanted it. They even got our giant temur pedic bed upstairs without hurting the bed or the walls. Again, these guys were great. Very friendly, professional, and helpful. If I ever move again, I will be calling them again.

Can't say enough good things about these movers. Their team of three showed up bang on time, were competent, professional, hard-working, fast. My father, who used to be in charge of moving families at US embassies all over the world, commented that he had never seen a more professional team. Not a scratch on anything--I even trusted them with my surfboards. We had to pay extra for the travel cost from San Jose, but it was well worth it. They were so well coordinated, that they made up for the extra cost in their efficiency and speed. They took one ten-minute break in a four-hour job. Nice guys, too.

We have used them multiple times. We used them five years ago for my parents. They were very good and they kept things in storage. Nothing was missing. They came out and gave a very realistic estimate and that was what we were charged. They had boxes that they supplied us with. They understood the situation we were in. They just handled everything efficiently and professionally. Their price was probably a little higher but it was worth it. I have recommended them to my clients.

- I was referred to All Reasons Moving by a different mover who couldn't work with my dates. - Angie's list ratings for All Reasons were also great so I contacted them. - I was given an appointment time for someone (Tom) to come and give me an estimate. Tom showed up on the dot. Was detailed in walkling through and explaining how things worked. - We first fixed a tentative date, which we had to change. Kim, the owner was great during this process. Day 1 of moving: - 3 packers showed up at 8:30 am (they'd indicated they'd show up between 8/8:30), detailed a plan where they'd complete everything but our beds and living room (we planned to spend the night at our old home) - They systematically worked through their plan and were pretty much done by the afternoon. Since I had possession of my new home, they agreed to move most of the packed boxes into the garage of my new house. That took all of 30 min. Day 2: - They showed up at around 8:00 am (as promised). - Completed loading up everything by around 11:00 and drove to the new home (about 1.5 miles away from my old home) - We had gotten the carpets cleaned prior to moving in (upstairs) so asked the movers to wear booties which they did without complaining - That made the move in a bit slow, so they called up another crew to handle the unloading of the track while a couple of them stayed upstairs so they could speed up. - They were really careful with the furniture and floor (proactively suggesting that we put in new felt pads on the furniture so the wooden floors downstairs wouldn't get damaged). They also did a good job assembling back the beds and other furniture that they'd dismantled. - With all this, they were done right before 1:00 pm, ahead of their estimated time. Overall, a very smooth experience with staff that were very professional and easy to work with.

2 guys were dispatched. They were very careful doing a good job with the refrigerator tear-down and restoration. They were very careful to protect the floors during the transitions on-to and off-of the 4 wheeled truck. The best part was the fact that the quote was for a two hour minimum at $100 / hour plus mileage (only about 10 miles between the houses). It turns out that they had a cash discount and we only wound up paying a total of $190. We gave the main guy a $60 tip to be divided as he saw fit.

We had a refrigerator to move from one house to another. Both houses have hardwood floors and in both houses the front door had to be taken off of the hinges. In addition the door pulls on the refrigerator itself had to be removed in order to make the move.

My family has used All Reasons for moving and storage on several occasions. They did a wonderful staged move for my parents, who had been living in their home 30+ years. The first stage was just the necessities for getting set up in their new home. After living in the new place for a week or so, we did the 2nd stage to move the remainder of items. It really helped my parents purge things that were no longer needed. I was amazed that they were able to move so much stuff in such a short amount of time; their new place was set up with beds and furniture a few hours later. Incredible. The staff are well trained and very careful and respectful with customer's possessions. \ The estimate they gave us was reasonable (similar to other companies), but the actual bill was a bit lower (we had things all ready and waiting, so they could just get to work). I was told that the estimates they give are worst case scenario situations, and the actual bill is usually lower. My dad used their storage facilities to handle the overflow items from his previous business, and I was amazed at how much stuff they could shove into a wooden crate for storage (items are put in crate, then trucked to their facility; when you want your items they do the reverse and drop it in your driveway or wherever you want). Their rate for this service was reasonable, but if you needed frequent access to the items, it would be inconvenient My call to them in July was to move my family, but I was assured by my husband that we could do it ourselves.....his family will help, these people will help, it'll be fine. Come the day of the move, people who swore they'd help didn't, and it sucked. Nope, never again. I'm winning the mover argument next time.

They were recommended to me and I used them and they were relatively good. You should get an estimate before going with them, but all the numbers came out right. They were relatively prompt and they their professionalism was good. The issue was that they were reluctant to send a certificate estimate when I called.

It went fine. They did it in less than an hour. They assessed the situation quickly and accurately. Moved the furniture, which was heavy and took two men. We would use them again.

They were very professional and reasonable with cost. We had a flat panel TV and they were the only one in the area that had insurance to cover it if anything happened. They did a really good job moving us. They did break anything at all.
