Daniel and his team at Prime Remodeling Homes were professional and very reliable! I need to remodel my bathroom. It was outdated and had a lot of damage . As soon as my new tile flooring was installed, everyone who entered into my home immediately complimented on how nice it looked. This was a very difficult project for a variety of reasons. The project was repairing significant water damage. In this type of situation, you can't know what is under the skin until you start tearing things apart, so Oscar and I cut a contract based on "best case" with the clear understanding that, when we found problems under the surface, we'd do a mod. We had a lot of mods, a lot of them complex, but we were able to get to mutually agreeable in all cases -- we had some "interesting" discussions, but always professional and respectful.
The biggest problem was waiting for the City of Oakland to approve plans and for their inspectors to do their thing. The one real problem was the project manager, who could disappear and not respond to calls, e-mails, texts, or anything else (that's why I downgraded customer service). Oscar had to replace him and things went well after that.
I was very happy with the quality of the work -- and E&M was very good in working with me to find better ways to get things done. For all the work that had to be done, I'm happy with what I paid. I'd hire E&M again without any problems at all.
