"If I could give this company more than five stars I would. I hired Vasile for a number of small- to medium-sized to prepare our new home for our move-in. Most of the projects came from our initial home inspection report and they included tacking the dishwasher drain line to the top of the sink cabinet (it was leaking and causing damage), repairing some loose wooden siding (the home will be 60 years old next year), tightening a loose garage door chain and a few other minor projects. Vasile arrived on time and actually found a pretty big issue with the roof the home inspector had missed -- there was no shim between the eaves coming down from the drip line of the roof over the master bedroom. Not only did he offer to fix it, for a *very* reasonable price, but he even went and got exactly matching paint for it, too. He understood we had a set budget for the handyman projects and worked with us to still get projects done but stay on budget. And while I thought they would just tack the existing cheap drain line to cabinet, in actuality the entire line was replaced and some of the other lines under the sink were neatened up! It looked like a pristine, brand-new home's under-the-sink, if that makes sense. And none of that extra work changed the original estimate I was given. Some of the work was completed by Victor, Vasile's assistant, who also completed all the projects and left all work areas spotless. Moving into our first home, especially one that's been a bit of a fixer-upper, is exciting but also a bit intimidating. I can't stress enough how much better I feel knowing that I have a reliable, reasonable and skilled handyman I can call for future projects or issues. I already have several in mind. And, I certainly plan to recommend Universal Construction to any of my new neighbors who may need a handyman."

"We are very satisfied with RS Builders. I had two rooms whose windows had leaked since day one and no one was able to find the problem for 15 years. Sukh (the owner) determined we needed to remove the drywall inside and the stucco outside to get to the problem. We were delayed a few weeks due to the non-stop rain we had in Oct., but the crew was able to determine the windows had been improperly installed by the original builder and there were gaps between them and the framing and flashing, causing the leaks. There was a lot of rot and termite damage but fortunately no mold. They wound up having to replace much of the framing, remove all the windows (20) and reinstall them after coming up with a solution to seal the space between the windows and the framing. Then the outside was stuccoed and the interior drywall and paint were completed. The crew mostly arrived when they were expected (a couple times they didn't but it wasn't an issue to us). They kept everything as neat and tidy as possible and cleaned up after each day's work. Sukh came out periodically to check on the work and came up with the overall solution to the problem, but his foreman, Carlos, was there every day. I found the price for the project to be very reasonable, even after adding a change order due to the unknown amount of damaged wood that had to be replaced once the walls were opened up. I have already referred RS Builders to my brother for a major interior remodel project and would be happy to provide references for anyone considering RS Builders for their project."
