I have at least 6 more years on the roof. I have called them and they said they are on vacation. The owner called and said they are all on vacation for a week. They have noone to come and look at the roof. My roof is still under warranty. In the yellow pages it says they have "24 hour emergency service". I have called him back stated that if I have to go to another company he would be responsible for it.

A man (Joe) showed up at our house in a matter of hours and checked it out. We got the estimate and the go ahead from our landlord (who is currently in Florida). The price was very reasonable, especially for emergency services! The crew showed up bright and early yesterday morning. SUNDAY! They ripped off the old shingles, and rotted wood. They fixed the leak and replaced the shingles that match the existing ones perfectly. They finished the job quickly and left everything in tip-top shape. The work crew was super nice and we even got a follow up call at 9 AM this morning to see if everything was okay and if we were satisfied. Hopefully I won't be needing this service again any time soon, but it's great to know that if I do there's a reliable company that does quality work out there. Without hesitation, I would recommend these guys to anyone. They were excellent!

It turned out they returned on Tuesday to perform the work. Our roof wasn't leaking so although we wanted to get the work done it wasn't an emergency situation. They performed the work while we were out of the house and cleaned up after themselves. We left out paint for the trim boards and they painted prior to making the repairs, saving us a separate visit from a painter. Overall a good experience.

Recent Review: I run a store front restaurant in the city and last week we sprung a leak in our bathroom during dinner service due to the tenants that live upstairs. Needless to say this is a nightmare scenario on a busy Friday night. The next day, brunch service so we had to make an emergency call. We called around and got estimates for both cost and timing. Manhattan Roofing was the only number I should have dialed. George, the owner assured me they could get the job done extremely quickly and have our restaurant back up to code in no time. Seriously, Manhattan Roofers. George and his crew of workers saved my sanity and a lucrative brunch service for the next day. These guys were efficient, professional and extremely polite. Recent Review: It went great. Our roof is not that old however the roofing company that did the original work could not come out immediately. Toby came right out and inspected the roof giving us suggestions on what to look fo and how it should be fixed. Finally we were able to have the roofing company come out and they fixed the problem just as Toby directed. This is the second time that we have used Toby and again we were very pleased with his work.

Recent Review: They were here on time and surveyed the roof area in question from the attic to determine where leak was. They repaired the leak by ripping off a 3'x3' area of shingles and putting up an ice shield and new shingles. Have had a hard rain since the repair and no more leaks to date!! Would not hesitate to call them again.

Recent Review: I really can't say enough good things about my experience with Larry Sr. and team. We were facing a major overhaul after a pipe burst right after the new year. This compounded with some previous damage from a pair of roof leaks and a burst water heater. Long story short: water is not our friend. Add to that the fact that my wife was in her third trimester and it was a recipe for disaster. Larry Sr. arrived on the scene and immediately instilled a sense of calm. We had met with a handful of contractors that were either very cavalier about the scope of work or very alarmist. Larry Sr. took charge and immediately and thoroughly started compiling an estimate on the spot. He also noted that they have worked directly with our insurance company and that he would negotiate directly, something the other contractors never even brought up. Over the course of the next several weeks -- in which time were moved out of our home and praying that the baby did not come before we made it back -- the team worked at a furious pace and still managed to keep everything under control. We received a daily update with photos of progress, and were given suggestions but never felt pressured as it related to everything from paint color to floor stains. Our place looks brand new and, more importantly, is more structurally sound. I would whole-heartedly recommend the LA Design team to anyone that will listen, especially if you are looking to remove yourself from the headache of volleying back and forth with insurance adjusters.

Our roof was leaking badly last Thanksgiving 2013, after we bought house. Michael's crew came that weekend did emergency repair that weekend, then came back and recovered whole roof in less than one day. Reasonable price and very fast service. After roof was done, Owner called and emailed several times after it rained to be sure that new roof was adequate and keeping us dry. I would definitely use American Roofing again.
