Recent Review: 10/20/2015 UPDATE: Just had our mandatory city inspection of our water heater -- the inspector took one look and said, "Yup, they did excellent work. First rate." So we passed with flying colors. Fast was fast and reliable! You can use them without hesitation. Fast was, in fact, fast, courteous and very responsive. I called them in the afternoon and they arrived promptly the next day, on time. Extremely nice and knowledgeable technicians. One thing to be aware of, I purchased the attractive $850 deal on Angie's List (which is quite good if you shop around). I did decide to upgrade to a better 15-year warranty Rheem water heater (vs the 6 yr model included in the deal), so there's that added cost. (Nor did they try to up-sell me to a better model, I inquired if they had one available.) As well, be aware there are addt'l costs -- in my case a 'required' expansion tank, grounding of water and gas pipes, addt'l plumbing, and a mandatory inspection certificate -- to bring the installation up to CA code. All of this adds several hundred dollars to the bottom-line. I will say, Fast technicians did a pre-survey and were clear about the costs before doing any work, so there were no surprises -- and it all seemed legit -- but depending on where your heater is located (basement, garage, closet) you may made need some additional work to bring your heater up to code, eg, I needed some flexible pipe installed where there had been rigid pipe. (Btw, there is a mandatory state inspection after installation.) The flat deal implies extras -- and I did upgrade to a better, longer-life water heater, at my choice. Aside from that, Fast was very professional and reliable. In an emergency, which ours wasn't, it sounds like they can offer same day service -- for the same price! Their work was excellent, the install looks great, and our water heater -- which looks quite impressive for a water heater -- is pumping plenty of piping hot water. I'm a happy camper...I'll let you know how we're doing in 15 years...

Recent Review: My wife was home when Manny arrived and was quoted $250 to replace a leaking airgap from the dishwasher. We had called with a $35 drain cleanout coupon, but since it wasn't a drain we couldn't use it. I arrived during the assessment 15 minutes later and we decided to clean out the line going from the airgap to the disposal. We found hardened mass in that line and removed it. Testing the dishwasher afterwards it worked fine. My wife recalled a previous plumber was able to cleanout the line without replacing the airgap. The cost for this work was $89, a bit steep. I'm unsure why an airgap cleanout would cost more than double snaking out a drain. Other quotes given $200 to have digital camera inspection of the sink thru the cleanout. $300 to replace a toilet, however their toilets were too tall 17" and they could only provide labor to replace a toilet of my choice for $185. (not including the toilet) He also inspected the loose kitchen sink faucet, but determined the frozen brass bolt was not able to be tightened and quoted $95 should I want to have that faucet replaced (not including a new faucet and sprayer.) He said that the loose faucet allowed water to leak underneath the sink and was causing wood damage. We should seal bottom of faucet to prevent further damage. Lesson learned shop around if you have time and also research past repairs so that you have a benchmark for what you paid for similiar work before.

Recent Review: Ok this is for all of you who live in Los Angeles. I just had the best experience with Harry from California Airconditioning services. Wait you say its Sunday . Yep twenty four hours a day and seven days a week. He was honest fixed the problem right away and pointed out a couple of things that I could fix myself . After trying about twenty companies that advertise 24 /7 emergancy service and most of them saying "we can set an appt up during the week, the 24/7 means we answer the phones 24/7" . Actually they were all call services and not the actual companies. Harry was personable and said " I just got back from a job and want to eat lunch, but I will come as soon as I am done in about an hour. AN hour and ten minutes later He was here. . Fixed the problem 310-530-0504

Recent Review: The crew (Geno, Chris T., Van and Brandon) showed up on time, got right to work, and put in two very long days in order to finish. The crew worked very well together, were professional and cleaned up after themselves each day. They uncovered deficiencies in work completed prior to our owning the home in the existing electrical systems that were fire hazards and were able to correct those deficiencies, bringing them up to code. Along with the two exterior units, the crew replaced the entire ducting system and added a new air outlet in the kitchen and a walk-in closet. They never were heard complaining or whining, and were always willing to answer homeowners' stupid questions. The "B" in pricing reflects a slightly higher cost than other quotes, but the service provided so far has been worth it. We actually visited the business and were given a tour; our "guide" introduced us to the owner, service manager, and several other employees. All were happy to answer questions and talk about the business and its rapid growth. We would not hesitate to use the company again.

Recent Review: These guys are really committed to getting the job done and getting it done properly. We have a rather complex water heater installation in our condominium building - they knew what needed to be done to fix our problems with our entire system, which included the water heater, plumbing to and from the water heater, including two electrical pumps and various sensors and tanks. They handled the plumbing, the water heater, and the electrical complexities quite efficiently and did not use subcontractors. They came early in the morning and worked during the intense rainstorms we had in February 2011. They are very professional with a mindset toward customer service and dependability. I highly recommend them.

Recent Review: We have a new three-tier garden fountain, and needed advice from someone experienced and bright. Jeff was the answer to our prayers. He was prompt, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. He installed a control on the pump so we were finally able to get the flow as low as we wanted. He advised us regarding the hard wiring of the fountain (which was not yet finalized), and provided lots of helpful ideas and insights. We would not hesitate to use Jeff again, and would recommend him to anyone who needs help with a fountain. Jeff is the man!
