Affordable Air ServiceI called Affordable Air when my blower fan was running 24/7. They had Jaime out later that same afternoon. He diagnosed that problem. And within 30 minutes he told me he had to order a fan blower relay and it would be in in a couple of days. Two days later Jaime came, replaced relay, voila, problem solved. Affordable Air could not have done a better job. So at that point, I asked for a quote on replacing the 2nd floor HVAC system. They were priced inline with others but offered a better warranty. They replaced the the unit the following week with the latest and greatest technology. I have already seen an improvememnt in my electric bill. Highly recommend.- guz a.

Choice Home WarrantyI called Choice Home Warranity on a Sunday, CHW made an appointment for a AC Tech to come on Monday from Bay Town H/AC Panama City, FL.. CHW approved the replacement of my compressor on Tuesday. Bay Town arrived on Wednesday at 8:30 AM with new compressor. Excellent service from Choice Home Warranty. They did an excellent job choosing Bay Town H&AC. I would recommend CHW and Bay Town to everyone! STARS TO ALL!! This is during Covid19. I am a high risk patient and must be at home. With Florida temps in the high 90s, CHW and Bay Town understood my situation. Thank you!- Sandra W.

ACbyDC Heating & Air ConditioningCecil and Don were both excellent! They were on time, and did everything they could to try to fix my aging HVAC system. Only once all options were exhausted did we finally opt to install a new system instead of dumping money into the old one. I called around and got half a dozen quotes, and AC by DC was by far the best both in price and equipment. The installation work was also very high quality, and professional. I was so impressed I told my father and he also had an entire system installed by them. My father is an HVAC guy and watched them every step of the way and commented to me about how they do everything exactly right. He also had gotten several quotes previously and AC by DC was the best price for high quality equipment. If you need HVAC help, and don't want to worry about being scammed or sold something you don't need, definitely give them a call!- Michael E.

Choice Home WarrantyThe service technician from Climate Engineer of Florida was rated excellent. CHW is just okay. Usually their customer service on the phone is below average. I had to wait 48 hours to get my HVAC repaired. I'm in Florida. They changed their policy of letting home owners use their own technician. Mine would have been here same day. All in all, just okay. D & D Air Conditioning and Heating, Inc.They fixed my A/C unit a couple years ago when another company first screwed everything up then tried to con me into two different false repairs for triple the cost D&D did it for. I was having issues again and called them and they were on time, called to confirm and let me know when they were on the way, gave great suggestions for future and even cleaned out the system to help it last a couple more years. I would recommend them over any other company and I've used at least 4 throughout living here almost 25 years.- Kim K.

The quote I was provided was at a lower cost than other quotes I obtained and the additional accessories they provided for the price were more than I was going to get from the other companies. I didn't have to haggle with therm and I got the best value for the price I paid. Joey and Braden did a great job installing the new heat pump and everything was to my complete satisfaction. I am very particular and expect quality work--that's what I got. Because I opted to delay the duct replacement to the fall when it's cooler, they reduced the installation price to accommodate my agreement to do so. I highly recommend them.- John M.

I hired Aaron Frost to install new air conditioner unit. Based on their recommendation we agreed on a TempStar unit, The installation went very well, the installers were professional and courteous. I thought they did a great job. The day after the installation I noticed that the unit had a GrandAire name plate, not TempStar. After doing some research, I discovered they had installed a cheaper brand. I immediately went to the Aaron Frost office and let them know of my displeasure. They claimed it was a mistake by their supplier, not their installers. They said they had ordered a TempStar, but the supplier had sent a GrandAire. They did offer to correct the error by replacing the unit, but the GrandAire was working OK, My research told me it was not as highly rated as TempStar but wasn’t a bad unit and I did not want to go through another install. So I told Aaron Frost that I would except a refund on the difference between what I paid and what the unit actually was and they agreed. I also said that I wanted to see in writing what with the price difference was. I have received the refund, I hope this was an honest mistake, I hope by posting this review that this will warn other Angi members to follow up after work is completed. If I hadn’t caught this I would hope that Aaron Frost would’ve notified me when they realized it. This is the first time I’ve used them, so I don’t know have enough experience to know if they can be %100 trusted after this. I hope they would have the integrity to notify me that they had installed a lesser unit once discovered. I was satisfied with their work, they were very nice, but naturally this experience would make anyone wary.

Awesome, stress free experience. Royce and his partner Jake (?) were outstanding. When our truck load was 160 lbs over the truck's weight limit of 8,500 lbs, they removed their spare tools and equipment and drove the 890 miles with no more than 1/2 their fuel load to stay underweight. Nothing damaged and they were so helpful in getting all our furniture and boxes into the right places. Protected walls and floors and disassembled and reassembled beds and tables without issues. Outstanding and would hire them again. Thank you!

Modern Air just replaced our Heat Pump system (compressor and air handler) and they did an excellent job. Gave us a competitive price last Friday and completed the work today (Wed). Andrew and Brandon did the work and they were very professional and did a great job. Highly recommend. They installed a 2.5 ton Carrier system which is considered one of the best and even went up in the hot attic to inspect the duct work and patched small holes in duct work.

when tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great
