Flea Control & Flea Exterminators Near San Francisco

I've been real happy with their service which is why I keep using them. I had a problem with fleas with my dog. He was really allergic to flea bites so I got the service and it helped quite a bit. My experiences with them have been great.

EARL'S SENT OUT MANNUEL, AS OUR SERVICE TECH. MANNUEL WAS WELL INFORMED AND WAS ABLE TO EXPLAIN TO US THE PROCEDURE HE WAS GOING TO USE AND THE TYPE OF CHEMICALS HE WOULD APPLY. IT WORKED. NO MORE ANTS.

Horrible customer service and communication. I called to request to only have my spraying done outdoors, his response was “OK I’ll cancel your appointment” I told him I would still like the service just not inside my home since I do not have fleas in my home. I told him I would even pay for the complete service just would not like it done in the house. He said said “no.” I asked for clarification on why he could not do a service for the outdoors only and not do the indoors. His response was “didn’t you read the prep sheet?” Jim is inconsiderate of others questions and concerns. He is extremely rude. I’ve never received a service like this before and was trying to get some insight on how it all works but all he wanted to do was cancel my appointment and get me off the phone. I’ve worked in customer service for over 20 years and this is not a professional response in my opinion. My husband could hear the conversation since I had my phone on speakerphone and he was shocked at the responses and way this man was speaking to me. He kept telling me to just hang up on him but I wanted to get some answers which I still never received.

This the second time I have used these guys. Evaluated problem in about 2 days. I had them check for bedbugs with a trained dog though it probably was not necessary (my decision). Went over options. 2 days later, goodbye fleas. My request for the dog increased my cost.

Curtis (of C&T) was exactly the guy I’d hoped for showed up on time, made good eye contact ( which is important to me if you are entering my sacred domain). He explained the process with ease and assurance and got right to work. Great service and response time too!!! These are honest good hardworking people that care about their customers not just the green dollar.

They did well. The problem has been under control and they are coming every month. The workers are great. no complaint there. However, I am uneasy with the products that they use even thought they claim that is ok for the environment. We just don't have a good idea of what is good unless it is truly natural. But our flea problem (we don't have pets) was so extensive. We had fleas in our patio and when we went outside our legs would be covered with as many as 25 fleas or more. So now it is better.

THEY CALL AHEAD OF TIME TO TELL ME THEY'RE COMING. THEY HAVE TAKEN CARE OF PROBLEMS IN THE HOUSE. I LIKE THE FACT THAT THEY LET ME PAY ONCE A YEAR.

They were terrific. They are competent, thorough, efficient and did a good job. They got rid of the problem as they said they would. They cleared up our flea problem and it was great. We were very, very satisfied with them. I don't remember what the price was, but it was worth it. They have a year guarantee, and if you have a problem in the meantime they will do the work for no cost.

We had a mother fox and her new litter of 3 pups living under our deck for several months. They moved on after a couple neighbors too out a couple pups. We had not been bothered with fleas until the foxes left. We have no pets. When the foxes left, the fleas stayed.. I would be eaten alive on my legs when I went out and then they moved in following me and visitors!. We did research on riding fleas ourselves butfrom the research the best spray could only be supplied by exterminator. We called a couple of exterminators for estimates only when it became apparent that we could not control the fleas ourselves. We also called a previous exterminator who had rid our basement of subterranean termites and they recommended bug zappers. They also had the lowest bid. We called them and they came out the next day. They sprayed around the house, yard . We immediately noted the drop off in number of bites and after 3 days no more bites from inside or outside the house and it has remained this way since. We did not need the revisit of a second spray. We also were given a handout on flea prevention.

The man who came was quite nice, and seemed somewhat embarrassed about his company's policy. The advertise a 1 yr guarantee, but it's really only 10 months. Big deal you might say, but for all of you that know fleas, it's a really big deal. Fleas come out mostly in Sep and Oct each year. A 1 yr guarantee gets you into the next flea season. A 10 month guarantee falls just short. In month 11 and 12, their so called guarantee drops to a pro-rated deal, i.e. you get a 8-16% discount. Not much of a guarantee. They say 1 year right on the side of their vehicles, and on their website too. Classic false advertising. I ended up buying flea powder and nematodes online, then applying both products myself. Saved a lot of money.

During the first visit in Jan, the technician used the powder and a broom to beat it into the carpet and furniture - this seemed very low tech, but since the work was guaranteed I didn't worry too much. When the fleas came back, FleaBusters was very nice on the phone and sent another technician - this time he used a vacuum-like contraption and had a liquid form to spray the floorboards. He told me the other technician was part-time and didn't have the full equipment - the correct equipment made all the difference so if you use them, make sure they send someone with the right equipment! So - it all turned out great, we're still flea-free (even after trips to the vet where the fleas seem to come from) and should we ever get them again, I will call FleaBusters immediately.

They did a good job. They responded quickly. They sent the same technician twice, but we were not satisfied from those visits. At first, the treatments were not applied thoroughly. However, we spoke with the manager and he sent out a different technician that was more thorough in making sure the treatments were effective.

Bill was courteous, prompt and very informative. I recently learned through vet tests, that my dog is allergic to fleas. That is the reason for the spraying, but the spray, while being safe for animals will cover many other pests besides fleas. Bill gave me a lot of good information regarding my yard. He told me about the quarterly spraying available, but did not pressure me to sign up right then. All in all, a very good transaction.

When our dogs came home with fleas (even though they were on Frontline), I was concerned about how to exterminate since we have a 10 month old at home. Our vet actually recommended Fleabusters and we chose them because they don’t use chemicals or pesticides. I spoke at length with Rhonda at Customer Service who was incredibly knowledgeable and empathetic. She helped me understand what we were up against and made me feel completely at ease to have this product in my house with my son. Because this year is bad for fleas (or good if you are a flea) they were very busy and we would have had to wait 2 weeks before having someone come in. She was able to call someone in from their southern California offer and get us an earlier appointment to which I was very grateful. Joel arrived on time and ready to go. He was incredibly professional, answered all of our questions and very personable. He didn’t rush through the house but was very thorough both inside and out (they use little worms that eat all of the stages of the fleas so it's completely safe for the dogs to be on the grass along with any of the birds or other wildlife in our yard) and explained everything that he was doing. The amount of knowledge he had was really impressive. It’s been a couple of days and we have already noticed a difference. As for the guarantee, I read the review from the person who said it was only for 10 months so I asked Joel directly and the guarantee is for a FULL12 MONTHS. It is in my contract that I signed and Joel even went so far to say that if on the 12th month the fleas come back, they will come in again for free to take care of the problem. If you are concerned about the guarantee, just call them and have them confirm it for you in writing. Based just on this one experience with their staff and receiving the treatment, I would highly recommend Fleabusters.

I called this company and several others based on their ratings on Angie's List. This was the only company that offered one-time spraying for pest control (the others required you to sign a year contract for repeated visits.) After playing phone tag several times, I was able to talk to Wetzel about questions I had regarding the safety of the chemicals used. He was very knowledgeable and answered my questions to my satisfaction. It was a little frustrating trying to get ahold of him when I had further concerns, but he came at the appointed time, got the job done quickly, and explained everything I had questions about. We haven't had a single flea since.

WHEN YOU HAVE INFANTS, THE THOUGHT OF AN EXTERMINATOR IS SCARY, BUT FLEABUSTER USES A SALT-BASED NON-TOXIC POWDER THAT BASICALLY DEHYDRATES THE FLEA. SURPRISINGLY IT WORKS, AND THERE IS NO FUNNY SMELL. THEY SEEM TO HAVE CONSULTANTS WHO WORK OUT OF THEIR HOUSE, BUT IT'S STILL A GREAT SERVICE.

THIS COMPANY IS ON TIME & VERY RESPONSIVE TO CALLS. THEY WANT TO BE SURE, IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM, THEY CAN TAKE CARE OF IT RIGHT AWAY. WE ARE MORE THAN HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY. THE QUALITY OF THE SPRAY IS VERY GOOD. AS WE NEVER HAVE ANY PROBLEMS BETWEEN SPRAYING.

I was very happy with the price because until I found that on your website, I was looking at closer to 200 dollars. The technician arrived at 12:30, he started the work on the inside at 12:40 and he completed the work inside at 1:00 o'clock. So it took him 20 minutes to spray the whole inside of the house. He started the work outside at about 1:10 and completed at 1:20. So he actually worked for 30 minutes for 130 dollars. He told me that I had to wait for a few days for the effectiveness of the chemicals he put down. Monday of next week they said we could now get the carpets cleaned. So I have to wait until next week to determine the quality basically of what he did.

They did a good job. They arrived on time and did what they said they would. They also warranty their work for a year. I would use them again.

THEY ARE EASY TO BOOK, FRIENDLY AND WILLING TO RETURN TO THE JOB, FOR FREE (WITHIN A PRE-SET WINDOW,) IF THE PROBLEM DIDN'T GET FIXED THE FIRST TIME.
