  We were remodeling and referred to Bath & Kitchen Experts from my sister. We love her kitchen and she does she. We came with a drawing from another shop so had some ideas in mind. K&BM staff helped us refine our plan to get exactly what we wanted. Paul worked with us on several revisions. He was never too busy to help us even when we stopped in unannounced. Kind, patient and great sense of humor through the whole process. I would honestly give more stars if I could. Would highly recommend them to anyone and I already have

  Working with Homewise Remodelers was an amazing experience from bid to finish. My wife and I had just bought a condo 4 months prior. We had bought it knowing that the kitchen and flooring needed to be remodeled. We had never gone through working with a general contractor before so we meticulously researched. Everyone told us that contractors were unreliable, never finish on time, and expect to pay up to 20% over the initial quote. Going in with this expectation, I spent hours looking for Chicago contractors on Angie's List and Thumbtack. We settled on 7 different contractors to get bids from. The entire job cost was quoted to us from $30,000 to $80,000 depending on the contractor. Mirek (Homewise Remodeling) was head and feet above all of the other contractors we interviewed in every way. He was the fastest to come in to survey. He was very big picture and honest upfront. His communication skills were unmatched by all of the other contractors we met. He was meticulous with detail and talked us out of doing things in a more expensive way. We received computer comps from the 3 final contractors we liked. Only Mirek's had every single detail we discussed and was spot-on. The others missed half the things we said and worse, their measurements were off. We initially were thinking of going with the cheapest contractor but quickly realized after talking to them for a week that they were extremely unreliable and were going to likely overcharge things on the back end and not do things correctly (which I found was the case in many of their reviews on Thumbtack. They either asked for more money or quit on the project halfway through). Homewise Remodelers quoted less than the 50th percentile of quote prices. So Homewise was not the cheapest choice but also definitely not even close to the most expensive quote we got. But based on what I know now, it was the best choice in terms of being done right, timely, with the highest quality, and with no surprise costs. You get what you pay for. When it came to doing the job, Mirek used very thorough and timely subcontractors for flooring. Mirek would frequently show up at our condo to troubleshoot things with the cabinet installation guys. We discovered that the floor-to-ceiling height on one side of our kitchen was 1.5" off from the opposite side. Mirek planned with the carpenters to sightly grade the cabinets across the room in such a way that the counter-tops ended up perfectly balanced across, and appeared flush from floor to ceiling as if the condo was actually built level. The attention to detail was astounding from start to finish. Homewise Remodelers finished our project 1 week early, for exactly the price quoted (plus $1000) for changes we wanted mid-project), and it came out better than we imagined. We had such an amazing experience with them that 1.5 years later we knew we had to hire them to do our bathroom renovation as well

  I interviewed six people before deciding to work with Dan and the Samanco team. I had been frustrated by people quoting one price over the phone and then after spending an hour walking through the space they would come back with a price $15K more. Dan was straightforward from the start. He provided recommendations for suppliers, but was always willing to let me use my selections. No pressure at all. I could always get a hold of him and there were no surprises. Robert did most of the work and Robert is THE BEST. Truly. The work was high quality. He was always so pleasant to have around - both my young boys adored Robert. He always asked and clarified at every step and went above and beyond. For example: when I tried to stain a decorative shelf myself and failed, Robert fixed it no questions asked or when my window got back ordered and finally came in 6 weeks late - Robert was there within 2 days to install. All this and Samanco's pricing was very fair. I would highly recommend

I don't have problems with anyone or anything. If an issue came up Paul was so proactive and very communicative the issue was resolved immediately. I love the work that has been done.   Very happy with 4Ever Remodeling from start to finish with their work on our bathrooms (Hall/Kids bath and Master Bath). We talked to multiple contractors about what we wanted covering a balance of design, timing, quality and budget and 4Ever checked all the boxes. The process was thorough in terms of walking through what we wanted, drafting a contract, and then meeting as many times as we needed to finalize the design. I liked the flexibility in terms of bringing my ideas to the table along with the balance of getting the right suggestions on design and fixtures. We managed to purchase a lot of things independently but also bought many suggestions that were offered. Once we finally got started with the build we did one bathroom at a time. Both bathrooms were totally gutted which gave us the opportunity to fix some surprises but it was nice that they were transparent with each step and talked to us about structural, electrical and plumbing variations all with budget in mind. Our main builder Jack, was very responsive, and I am still amazed with his craftsmanship as he basically did it all. On top of it all, they kept things very clean and contained to the area they were working. We needed it that way as we were still living in the house and at times crossing paths daily. They even adjusted scheduled and worked some weekends knowing that we had vacations and time away from the house. Big thanks to Ryan, Magda, Anna, Pete, Jack and Damian for the great work! I recommend their work and look forward to working with them again in the future

  The final product turned out great! Ibro has a lot of insight with experience, and explained it fairly well throughout the process. We had special requests of our own as well (sun tunnel, premium pocket door hardware, shower footrest, dry ledge for shower items); all these things were installed and work well. The build quality is excellent, and working with the subs went smoothly
