He was on time, fixed everything, replaced parts (with no extra cost) and told us to not spend the extra money on the BRAND specific parts. No difference.

The repair worked for about 6 months, then the same part broke again, at which time we bought another dishwasher. But not from Sears.

The wrong part was consistently ordered and re-ordered. Numerous trips were required before dishwasher was fixed. Each trip involved my taking off work and staying home. The technicians seemed to operate by ordering a part and then seeing if that fixed the problem. The incorrect color for the part was sent three times before we decided we would just take the color sent to get the job finished. A terrible experience as not only did I miss work I was also without a dishwasher for about 6 weeks.

Provided next day service, diagnosed and clearly summarized the problem, secured the necessary part and returned immediately to install, returning the appliance to working condition. Service efficiently and professional provided; estimate was given with no pre-payment required. Will use their services to address future issues as they arise with other appliances - and highly recommend this family-owned business to others.

Very professional. On time. Repaired leak in dishwasher. Straightenen unit since remodelers apparently installed incorrectly. Checked over the rest of the unit. Ordered a part that had broken in the dish rack. All in all....very satisfied with the service that was provided.

Great. He tried to repair the damage (not moving parts) without ordering new parts, and when that didn't work, he ordered the parts and found a way to do it cheaper than expected. Very fair and competent.

I just moved into new condo and the dishwasher did not operate at all and the dryer vent was not venting properly. Kim, the scheduler, and John, the repair person, were very friendly, helpful and professional. John did good repairs to my satisfaction and explained what and why he performed the repairs. I will call them again.

HE RESPONDED THE SAME MORNING I CALLED HIM. I HAD DAY OFF FROM WORK AND HE WAS ABLE TO COME OUT THAT DAY. AL WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY TO WORK WITH AND PROVIDED GOOD EXPLANATION OF WHAT WAS WRONG AND OPTIONS I HAD. HE REPAIRED DISHWASHER AFTER TROUBLE SHOOTING PROBLEM. HE RAN TEST ON DISHWASHER, FOUND SHORT AT HEATER, REPAIRED, REPLACED AND REASSEMBLED PARTS.

UPDATE: D & T sent their service manager who determined that the pump that had been replaced was also defective - he fixed it, re-installed and correctly tested to validate the work. Had the initial serviceman tested his work, the problem would have been solved nearly a week sooner. I would be highly reluctant to call them again though...once burned you know. I changed their overall grade from an "F" to a "C" to compensate for the good work the service manager did. Poorly!! First, the part that was required had to be ordered so they had to come back a second time a week later. The pump was damaged and had to be replaced. The cost was about $400 - no idea how reasonable that really is but I wasn't too surprised. While doing that part of the repair, the serviceman noticed a small drip from the water inlet line - he didn't have a standard dishwasher hose on his truck, so said he would have had to order that and wanted another $180 to replace that hose - that's preposterous so I said I'd replace that part of the project (the parts were $15 at Home Depot!). Because of that drip, he didn't test his work. After I replaced the hose in the front of the dishwasher and turned it on, the dishwasher did not function correctly and a large amount of water (cups) spilled from under the center of the appliance, making me suspect that the pump replacement was faulty. We've called D & T again and asked for the serviceman to come back a third time and complete the job - but after this, NEVER AGAIN. Costs seem high...but most of all, the work was poorly done. Lack of testing of the work was really inexcusable. I will write an update if warranted.

The service was great! The cost was reasonable, they were on time and professional. They diagnosed that the water pump on the dishwasher had to be replaced, but when they went to install the new one they found a pushpin in the old water pump intake. So, he pulled that out and didn't need the new pump, and saved us $90. I really appreciate his honesty, and they did a great job!

Everything went great. Al was incredibly nice and excellent at the work. He was quick and thorough, and was able to fix our dishwasher promptly. He also gave some terrific advice about appliances in general. Would definitely use his services again!

Sergio did an excellent job of diagnosing the problems for both appliances. He asked for the dishwasher model number before arriving so that he could bring the parts with him, which I really appreciated! I called him on Monday and he came to do the work on Tuesday. Punctual, considerate and very competent. I would highly recommend him!

On all occasions the technician was on time, pleasant, knowlegeable and thorough. When a situation arose where the tech could have recommended a costly part replacement that would have put money in their pockets, he instead gave me a quick fix and told me that I could wait it out and may never have a problem. I appreciated the honesty!
