Recent Review: It went extremely well, from the careful inspection of the exterior in order to provide the estimate (last fall) to the timely completion of the job in the spring - at the time we were told we might expect the work to be done. We had been led to expect high quality work and that is what we got. Very careful, very professional, with attention to detail. The work crew was most respectful and responsive. Not cheap but well worth the cost.

Recent Review: Bishop Painting As a person that manages several properties, one of which is my own, 1910 Victorian home, I can positively say Bishop Painting is categorically one of the best painters you’ll encounter in the Twin Cities. The quality of work is always very high. For a painter, that means taking the time to prepare the surface area properly. Proper preparation is what makes the paint job looks good for several years. If you ever noticed a home that was painted three summers ago and now the paint is peeling. That is what happens when you do not spend the time to prep the surface area well before painting. When you hirer Bishop Painting you are assured that will NOT happen to you. They have the skill and experience to prep the area properly. Bishop Painting follows all local and state laws when dealing with lead paint. When Bishop Painting worked on my Victorian, all the necessary steps were taken to mitigate any lead contamination. If you have small children, like myself, this is very important. I found communication with Bishop Painting good. Great trade people are not sitting by the phone they are out working. However, I had a response to all my questions within 2 - 24 hours. They always do a good job of explaining the process, the schedule, and what are the constraints that will impact the project. Someone once told me price is what you pay and value is what you get. Based on the price to value ratio you’ll be hard pressed to find a better deal. Bottom-line, Bishop Painting is highly recommended and if you are lucky enough to get on their schedule, go with them.

Recent Review: Scott and his team were referred to me by my realtor. They were responsive and communicated well throughout the project. The exterior paint was color matched to the existing paint color for a seamless appearance. They were able to navigate a tricky and tall roofline and also painted four garage doors that turned out amazing. They will definitely be the first ones I call for any painting project in the future!

Recent Review: It went fantastic! When my wife and I moved into our new house, we needed two rooms painted right away otherwise we knew it wouldn’t get done for a while. Even though Eric’s painters were tied up, he still came in on the day of closing and prepped and painted for us while we were moving in. He came back right away the next morning and finished up. The paint looks fantastic and service was even better! We also discussed future projects to give us some ideas for remodels, costs, etc. which was very helpful. EC Construction will be doing all of our future work going forward!

Recent Review: Fantastic experience working with Mike and I couldn't have been more pleased with the results! Mike was super responsive, always showed up on time, respectful about taking off his shoes (not tracking snow or leaves in from the outside), and did a great job painting. He painted our main hallway, laundry room, bedroom and trim in our master bedroom and bath. He even helped me pull off an HGTV-style bedroom "reveal" for my son's 9th birthday. He got the job done in literally a fraction of the time it would have taken me and made the project so much less stressful. Money well spent! Then we had Mike paint the exterior of our home and our deck, and we had the same kind of great experience. Many neighbors (including an upper bracket realtor) have stopped by to tell us how great the house looks and find out who did the painting. Mike is absolutely our go-to guy for painting, indoors or out. Highly recommend!

Recent Review: We had a great experience with this company. It all started with Kathy setting up the date-she's awesome. Then Lane helping us choose a new color for the trim which had to coordinate with the stone on our house. He has such an amazing eye for color and balance, it was perfect. We have had many compliments to the color combo. Crew was efficient and respectful. They cleaned up afterwards, never would have known they were there. Lane had checked in during the job and again upon completion. We are very happy with the results!!!

DECK LOOKED HOPELESS UNTIL THEY FINISHED WITH IT. THE ENTIRE HOUSE LOOKS MUCH BETTER. WE HAD A MISCOMMUNICATION ON PART OF THE JOB, AND HEATH TOOK CARE TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS DONE AS ANTICIPATED AND THAT WE WERE HAPPY WITH THE JOB. Recent Review: The best overall experience I encountered by any type of contractor. I called and spoke to Todd Shelton, he came out to meet with me and walked me though the entire process, he was very professional. We have had a problem with this home from paint peeling within a year after painting and this has been the third time in 10 years that we have had our house painted. Todd took the challenge and had the house extensively prepped and went over the process that he thought we should take to get better results. He also offered to come by once a year to inspect our house so we can jump on the problem before it gets out of control. (wow) I also decided last minute to have my deck rails cleaned and stained. No problem, Dan, Todd's Partner, was out to pressure wash my deck right away. Todd and Dan had a crew out to my property to prep and paint and the crew worked throughout the day non-stop, the attention to detail by the crew was impeccable. Dan restored my deck rails to a new appearance, he did an excellent job, making sure every square inch was cleaned, and stained. Both Todd and Dan were out several times during the entire process to make sure everything was going according to plan. The crew was polite and very mindful of their surroundings making sure everything was clean throughout the process. The final outcome of the project was worth every penny spent. I would definitely recommend Shelton Painting to anyone because you are not only hiring a talented crew, but you also are hiring a company that will treat and care for your home as if they were working on their home.
