For a great low price, he took our old (no longer working) water softener and salt bin to recycle and installed a new Softener in about 2 hours. We had some extra piping that was unnecessary and he even was able to clean up the piping and rid of some of the extra pipes we did not need. He was extremely informative on the installation process and walked through with me how to operate the new softener. I highly suggest Harry for any softener installation!

Chris was great- I expected to have to replace our water softener when he arrived. We briefly thought we would be able to make a repair, but no go. Chris did a great job of lining up a new water softener for us for the next day. We were not charged for the service call and they threw in a few extra bags of salt because we were Angie's List members. Chris was respectful and careful in our house. The job was done quickly and with no mess. Only complaint was the initial service was scheduled for 10:30-11:30. I called at 11:30 to get an idea of timing and was told that the first job was running over. As I was home from work waiting, it would have been helpful to have more timely notification of that. But I would not hesitate to hire these guys again!

The company came exactly when they said they would and the installation took the amount of time they had indicated. They removed the old softener, recycled the salt, installed the new softener and left the area very clean. They also routed the discharge water tube to the drain in a better way than prior to this.

Recent Review: I highly recommend Pure Mechanical. Kelly gave me a bid and we scheduled a date for the work to be done. Unfortunately, the leak in my water heater got much worse. I called Kelly and he came out just a couple of hours later. The water heater was in a very tight space, which made it difficult to maneuver, but Kelly and Mike got the job done. Even better, Kelly didn’t charge me extra for the last-minute schedule change. He was professional, polite, and very competent. Recent Review: Used Total Comfort because they are the Home Depot contractor for HVAC. The estimator spent a lot of time with us and made reasonable product and configuration recommendations. (I did not rate the company on price, as I didn't obtain any competitive estimates.) Once we made a decision to proceed with the job, installation was scheduled for three days later. We were impressed with the installation team for the following reasons: 1. They started early (7:30 a.m.) and worked all day (6 p.m.), until the job was complete. They didn't even take a lunch break. 2. They were very clean and left the house without a trace of them having been there. 3. They explained how the equipment worked. Overall, very happy with the experience.

Recent Review: Both the salesman and the tech were fantastic. From explaining the benefits and the cost, to installing and actually making the plumbing system better, they did a fantastic job. The technician had some health issues he needed to see a doctor about, but he and the salesman returned later the same day and finished up the job perfectly. I can’t recommend them more. Oh, and our water is so much better now!

In the evening of February 28th, our old water softener was due to recharge. Upon going to the basement the next morning to do laundry, my wife found a good deal of water on the floor from the over filled brine tank. After having cleaned it all up, I checked Angie's List and found Paladin's ratings and knew who to call. Brent, the service man came out and determined that the old softener was not worth repairing. I then contacted Jerry (the owner) and was given two options for a replacement softener for our old 2 tank system. He recommended the all in one cabinet style as it would take up less space and be less costly than another 2 tank system. This morning Brent returned to remove our old softener and install our new softener. Brent was very friendly and didn't mind at all answering questions and chatting with me a bit. He also was very efficient and knew exactly what he was doing and even cleaned up after himself and removed all the packaging from the new unit. The price included the new softener, removing and recycling our old softener, and even 2 bags of salt pellets to get the new softener up and running!
