"We recently had Coopertown Services out to our house to do a routine chimney sweep to get ready for this winter. We moved into the house a few years ago and had not had the inside of the chimney inspected or cleaned before now. (I figured the home inspector had inspected the inside of the chimney, but he had not - he only inspected the outside.) Coopertown was able to point out some serious safety issues inside of our chimney that were causing smoke and other gasses to leak into the house and water to leak through the chimney. We contracted them to complete all of the suggested repairs and are thoroughly impressed with their work. They covered everything in tarps and were very thorough in their cleanup. The inside of the chimney looks great now and is all sealed up from the firebox through the new top sealing damper. I highly recommend you call Coopertown for any chimney or fireplace needs.
