JazzCash is Pakistan’s leading digital payments platform with around 10 million monthly active users and a clear strategy to improve financial inclusion. Currently, an estimated 100 million people – nearly half of Pakistan’s population – remain unbanked.
JazzCash offers a broad portfolio of banking services including money transfers, bill payments, debit card, insurance, savings, ticketing, food delivery, government, and corporate payments. These services are accessed through the JazzCash USSD channel, mobile application, and over 80,000 retail agents nationwide. More than 45,000 merchants can also accept payments through JazzCash QR and an online payment gateway solution.
The uptake of the digital payments platform has resulted in 1 billion+ transactions amounting to PKR 2 trillion since mid-2019.
As part of the GSMA’s Connected Women commitment initiative, JazzCash has committed to increasing the proportion of women in their mobile money customer base by 2023.
