Recent Review: My first replacement a year ago went very smoothly. Service was scheduled for the following day and finished in a few hours. The most recent replacement was performed by a different technician. Service was scheduled for the same day. He was initially here to trouble shoot a repair from the previous week that did not help save the unit as we had hoped. This replacement took a bit longer then my previous replacement as he had to return to the shop for supplies he did not have on the truck. The tech was authorized to reduce the cost of the replacement by a few hundred dollars (approximately 1/2 of repair bill) due to the failed attempt to baby along the old unit only a week prior, which helped a little. Currently awaiting building inspection to complete the job. I have used Hawthorne for four years now. I have had annual a/c, furnace, and plumbing inspections. Our home was a foreclosure so we were not sure how well maintained the major systems were. The technicians that come to my home are in uniform and are neat and clean. They are respectful of my home, always wearing boot covers on their shoes even when I say it is not necessary. Dealing with the office is also very professional. I have, on two occasions, phoned before 'normal' office hours and been greeted by a friendly voice. I believe they have an answering service for after hours. On these occasions, the office returned my call promptly and scheduled same day service. I feel they may be a little pricey, however, I have not shopped around. I was originally referred to Hawthorne by our home warranty company shortly after moving in. I have continued with them and not shopped around based on their overall service. Why mess with a good thing!

Recent Review: I originally had some scheduling issues and submitted a bad review, but the company contacted me and made the effort to make things right. Because of that I give them an A rating. The tech was professional and took the time to not only inspect our furnace but checked out the air vents and explained issues of concern. He explained things in terms that were easy to understand, took relevant pictures, and noted areas for concerns for the future.

Recent Review: We contacted tecnoclima air conditioning and heating for one of the special tune-up they offer, Benito was the assigned technician, definitely an excellent job, very professional, punctual and attention to details, they checked for carbon monoxide levels and they replace the air filter that we provide, I recommend it 100 percent.

Recent Review: This is a great company. The dispatcher was polite and courteous. And the technician, Hector was very professional and knowledgeable. Hector quickly diagnosed and repaired my air-conditioning system with very competitive pricing. I would hire this company again for my air conditioning needs

Recent Review: Hal Mechanical Service was actually doing the work while three other companies were in the house working on different things. They coordinated very well and made this an easy and efficient process. They pointed out a few things to us while doing the work on the ducts. We took their advice, because we felt they were very trustworthy. It would be fair to say from start to finish they made this a pleasurable experience with the results we needed.

Recent Review: Gibson Air Conditioning Co LLC Gibson Air, did a very good job ! They were prompt and thorough on installation. Left nothing undone, stayed here the entire day to make sure everything was completed. Wasn't like they forgot something and had to come back the next day(wasn't anything like that going on). Had a sufficient crew to ensure that the job was completed in one day. Made sure they had a complete list of parts when they came. Inventoried to make sure everything was there, before they started the job. Stuck to the original quote price, didn't try to revise anything on it. There was a number of months between the quote and the installation, because I had gotten several quotes over a period of 2 months.

Recent Review: We contacted at least six companies to try and get emergency service and TNA was the only company that came through for us. They attempted repair by replacing a valve and adjusting our refrigerant level, but the compressor refused to stay on for more than a few minutes. Everything else was checking out okay (capacitors, etc). They also had us try a thinner filter with more air flow to see if that would resolve it. When that still didn't work they offered to replace the compressor for $1,300 and gave us all the facts about our current unit. It was a 4 ton system made in 2005 but all of the parts inside were replacements so basically an 11 year old system with Frankenstein cobbled together parts. Bearing that in mind, I did not think it wise to invest a new compressor in this unit and decided to go for a replacement. I got a quote for $5,500 for a Trane 3.5 ton 14 seer unit. They encouraged us to seek other quotes and to let them know if we would like to do it. I was really impressed that they actually wanted us to shop around and that they wanted to make sure we got a fair deal. Sure enough, their bid held up against two other companies so we decided to stick with TNA. We absolutely love our new Trane system, it is beyond quiet we can barely hear it running even with it located above our master bedroom. It's keeping the house nice and cool and I'm excited to see hopefully a little decrease on our utility bill. I would use TNA again for my future A/C service needs and would recommend them highly. Oh, also, they were super fast on install day. They had our old system off the roof and the new one craned up and connected in a matter of only a few hours. We are so happy we found these guys. The owner Tom is also a very caring and concerned manager. He followed up after the replacement to see how things were going. I love it when a company actually cares, it is so rare these days.

Recent Review: Techician Phil was very professional, prompt and friendly. He was obviously very knowledgeable and did an excellent job tuning up our system and patiently explaining the scope of work and issues to be on the watch for. I'd definitely recommend Emergency Air.

Recent Review: I used the $49 coupon special. The tech Matt was punctual, professional and personable. This was not a "quickie" inspection. Time was paid to the details of a thorough inspection. I incurred no additional charges as everything was fine. Let's face it, most of us know nothing about how our furnace works and Alaskan Air could have told me I needed additional services but this didn't happen. Good running furnace was good running furnace to Matt and Alaskan Air. Kudos! I will be using them in the spring for my air conditioner inspection.
