"Great. After moving the movers could not move the piano. Then we hired another company that said they were piano movers. they scratched my hardwood floor and wall and were not able to move the piano upstairs. Meridian Piano Movers did an awesome job. They responded to my called immediately and were able to give me a service date for next early morning. Arrived on time, were very professional and, most importantly, perform the job in no time, with out any damage to my home. Highly recommend them.

"Excellent service from the office and scheduling to the hands on movers. We had a tight time frame due to a change in the baby's due date, rainy weather, a move-in location that still had some renovation being done, and lots of tight corners and narrow doorways. They will absolutely work with you to find a way to get everything done, and went above and beyond to help us in a stressful time. They had to schedule a second day to finish up when the weather was better, and they worked that in within a week. The initial estimate was based on a phone call (no time for a walk through) and the final cost was higher, but we didn't realize how much help we needed, and were pleased that they were able to adjust to our needs and work us in. He showed me where moths had been in the piano, but said they hadn't done any damage yet - told me I could keep them away by rubbing a moth cake on the felt where they'd been. The moth cake crumbs will keep them away. He seemed to care a lot about the piano - the work is more than just a job to him, which I appreciate a lot. He was very efficient in the tuning and left the piano sounding great!

"The loading went extremely well. They said it would be a tight fit into a 26-foot truck. We had Todd/Phil/Marc loading, and they packed the truck incredibly well. When we had a company unpack at our destination, they couldn't believe how well the truck was packed, and said there were techniques they haven't seen in 15 years! They asked what didn't fit in the truck to try and see if there's anyway it would have fit (hose reel, box, and card table), and they said not 1 single extra thing could have made it. A fantastic job by these guys!

"<p>I had decided not to do a review of this move.&nbsp; Just let it go.&nbsp; However, every day I walk by another scratch, ding, etc. and the disappointment just won't go away.</p> <p>This makes the 8th time I have hired Busy Bee to assist me in a move.&nbsp; Residential and Business combined.</p> <p>This is the 1st time I have ever been disappointed.</p> <p>Almost every piece of furniture, including file cabinets, desks, &amp; chairs, received some new nick or scratch in this move.&nbsp; (Busy Bee themselves have moved this same furniture a few times before with NO damage.)&nbsp; None of the damage was significant enough to file any claims or make a federal case out of it.&nbsp; Just enough to disappoint.</p> <p>I gave Busy Bee a &quot;C&quot; because of the notion society has the C is average.&nbsp; This company used to be way above average and to me, average means I could have had amateurs do the same job.&nbsp; For some reason, unlike past moves, no padding was used when moving the furniture.&nbsp; Even the furniture dolly was bare.&nbsp; Just plain wood and carriage bolts.&nbsp; The one I own for general use is carpeted to prevent incidental scratches.&nbsp; Why wouldn't the pros use carpeted dollys, or have padding of some sort.&nbsp; They used to!</p> <p>I noticed things seemed different from the original call to schedule the move... but I relied on past experience to rest assured everything would be fine.&nbsp; I was uneasy enough to call again a couple of days in advance.&nbsp; I was assured the crew would be on site and on time... which they were... but the phone call still had me uneasy until they actually arrived.</p> <p>All this leaves me wondering if the company has changed ownership or philosophy because it does not feel like the same company I dealt with before.</p> <p>I decided to do this review to get this off my chest and to share the experience as Angie's List says they want us to.&nbsp;&nbsp;7 times before I've used this company with 120% satisfaction.&nbsp; #8... not so much.&nbsp; I doubt if there will be a #9.</p> <br />
