NORTHEAST IRRIGATION
We had a sprinkler system installed in our front by someone else and wouldn't hire that company again. I found Phil's company on another website and called him to close down our sprinkler system. Phil was prompt, courteous and explained the system to me. Now I use him each year to open/close the sprinkler system and any repairs that it needs. Great guy to work with and I will definiately use him again and again.

I spent $65 for the startup and $65 for the shutdown, so $130 in all. He is timely and thorough. He noticed that I had some sprinkler heads and he used them and did not charge me for them. He was reasonable and he was telling me where I could buy sprinkler heads and he put them in for me. He noticed that there was one sprinkler hear that kept needed replacement, and he suggested that I move them.

You can get the spring/fall cleanup for a couple of bucks cheaper (I believe), but we continue to use them because they are very responsive, on time, and friendly. They also installed are sprinkler system. Their price was very competitive and they did a good job with the installation and design. I'm a happy customer 😀

The experience went well. I had The Sprinkler Doctor winterize my irrigation system in October and asked that he replace a sprinkler head at that time. He winterized the system in late October and then returned in early December to replace the sprinkler head and bury the piping. Billed me a short time later for both services. No problems along the way.

In addition, the contractor tried to bill me an additional amount for services that were within the scope of the agreement but admitted that was an error when I challenged that. Beware of this contractor trying to charge additional amounts never agreed to.

The guy came on time, went through all the sprinkler zones and adjusted the heads. 4 sprinkler heads were broken or leaking, so he fixed them on the spot for $25 each. Whole thing took about an hour. Very efficient and helpful. I'd use them again.

The "Bros" did a good job in fixing three leaks quickly and replacing a number of damaged/malfunctioning sprinkler heads. They adjusted all sprinkler heads, including existing ones. They carefully put back grass they dug up, and put down some grass seeds. I was satisfied with their work.

They were very responsive to my call regarding a leak in my sprinkler system. They sent a tech out the very next day. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He located the leak immediately near the valve box where the sprinkler is hooked to the water output. He then checked a 2nd valve box, disassembled one of the valves, flushed it and reassembled it. He checked that everything was working properly and there were no more leaks.

Recent Review: My brother recommended Maclellan Plumbing. But with the blizzard and lots of burst pipes & heating problems across the region, Maclellan wasn't available today. The woman who answered the phone recommended Budge It and gave a phone number, and the folks at Budge It will be out today. Excellent customer service, we will be contacting Maclellan again for future plumbing needs.

One area that I had to really chase the company about though was the deduct meter. I understand Peter and his team don't control the schedule of the plumber they use for the deduct meters, but the communication could have been better.

He transformed old, tired, backyard into beautiful, landscapped garden with arbor, bluestone patio, flower beds, trees and bushes; and changed a tired front yard into garden of bushes and flowers and small trees. The resulting "look" is lush, peaceful, beautiful and private. We love it as do the birds!

Recent Review: TerRain Irrigation installed the yard sprinkler system at our house for the previous owners, and they service it twice a year for us (spring opening & winter closing). They usually email a week or two ahead of time to let us know they'll be in our area, and then just show up & do the service while we're at work. The price for semi-annual services has gone up over the recent years from about $70 to now $85, and it seems steep for relatively little effort. But they do at least communicate proactively & do the work when promised.

Recent Review: We scheduled for an irrigation start up. They came as scheduled but the quality of the service was terrible. They ended up charging us extra for "replaced sprinkler heads" without informing us and left a number of the sprinkler heads un-adjusted. Soon after completing the service there was loud noises coming from our pipes because they left air in the system. When we called to have this looked at and have the service completed properly, they said they would charge us "$100 an hour". Customer service is rude and unresponsive. They performed an incomplete/low quality service and then tried to charge for additional services to do the job properly.

Fabio was great. He was able to come in and set the timer on the sprinkler system, check all the sprinkler heads, and look for any leaks within the lines. I have 4 zones of sprinkler heads so its quite a bit of work. He was also able to move a couple of sprinkler heads that were blocked by plants. He also checked to see if my rain sensor was working properly, which he found it wasn't, so we will have to replace at some point and also upgrade our timer system for better water efficiency. I will be using Fabio and Boston Irrigation again to come and close my system for the fall months.
