Recent Review: It went fantastically well. Gene provided an estimate within 24 hours of his visit, and we accepted soon thereafter. His team was here for two days, two weeks from when the estimate was provided. The scheduling was quicker than discussed, which was a huge plus for us. The team was great, and the work was frankly better than we could have hoped for. Very impressive job all around, including a couple of touches (e.g. repainting a hand railing) that we did not ask for but they threw in as value-add. As the project manager told me during the final walk-through when I asked about the railing, he said they wanted to make sure that everything looked great -- no stones unturned. I remain impressed with the quality and timeliness of Target's work, and the professionalism from the team (from management to the crew) was top-flight.

Recent Review: Contacted ELCO to provide an estimate for pressure-washing and exterior painting. It was easy to arrange an appointment over the phone, and the person arrived right on time and remembered to phone me just before arrival as requested. He listened carefully to my description of what I wanted done, and was efficient and professional in looking over the property. The estimate emailed to me was clearly broken down by the different tasks. In the end I decided to go with another company for part of the work, because they could fit in the job earlier, but I will certainly keep ELCO in mind for future projects.

Recent Review: Overall it went fine. I've had a real crap job done so was nervous. They were responsive, fair, and cleaned up well each day. It's hard to oversee a paint job when you have to work during the day, and I found their communications among themselves somewhat lacking. They asked which windows I wanted painted. I responded, you tell me--I can't see the outside of most of them. OK, they said they'd mark the ones needing paint. Next day I'm asked which windows I want painted. I said, you were going to tell me. We worked it out. I wish I'd just had them do all the windows, as others quoted. Now I see some that didn't get done that should have. Only thing that really bothered me was that they damaged shrubs and didn't say anything. I found them weeks later. Too late to bother complaining and they couldn't do anything anyway (plus the winter did even more damage). I'd like to have been told, however. I could have cut them back further or, gee, they could have tied them back. They did a good job, though. I'm not as blown away as some reviewers because I think they did what they should do. That most don't is probably why they seem so good.

Recent Review: Joe returned my call immediately and came to the house to look at the job in a very timely fashion. I really appreciated that he took on the job considering how small it was. Other contractors wouldn't even look at it. After reading all the great reviews on Angie's List, I was very excited to work with him, and he didn't disappoint. He is so organized and extremely calm in spite of having several other jobs at the same time. After the first day he wanted to make sure I was handling everything okay and wondered if there was anything he could do to make the job easier on me. I do not handle stress well, and working with Joe and his crew was totally stress free. If he wasn't helping with the job, he took the time to check on it every day. If any issues arose, Joe handled them with ease. His trades are very good, and he moves them in and out in a very efficient manner. Joe would contact me to let me know approximately what time the trades would arrive or if they were running late. When the job was done, he sent the painter back to do any touch-up work. I'm very happy with the work, and if you are looking for someone to get the job done right, I highly recommend Bertola Custom Homes and Remodeling.

Recent Review: Based on our previous excellent experience with ARCH painting the exterior of our home, we didn't ask for multiple quotes instead choosing ARCH as our provider of choice, Adam, the estimator, was excellent, punctual and precise in his estimate. The follow-up call from the ARCH home office was also professional and to the point in setting up the time for the work to begin. On the first day, the crew showed up 10 minutes early to get the paint needed and begin the prep. Jose and his crew were clean, very professional and worked amazingly fast. What was to be a full 2 day job took about 1.5 days. The entire process was painless and we're left with 3 beautifully painted rooms.

Very organized, great communication, managed customer expectations, thorough in preparing the job estimate, and the painting work was precise and beautifully done. For our house we just needed the ceilings painted as most of the walls we had painted ourselves. What a difference this made! Recent Review: Lindo and his team were excellent. Lindo beat the price of other estimates we received, the team showed up when they said they would, and were very friendly and open to moving ladders and cars so we could get in and out of our driveway. The work was finished quickly, and our house looks better than it has in a long time.

Recent Review: We recently had Thiago's Painting Inc, Thiago and his team do several major interior work items including: 1) two rooms of removing wallpaper and wainscot molding and carefully preparing all walls for new painting, 2) repainting our Great Room along with repairing the moulding around two skylights and 3) preparing 45 stained maple Kitchen cabinets to prime and multi coat to new paint finish with new hardware. Thiago and his team were very proffesional and neat on doing all this work as well as making sure at the end of each day they left the areas picked up and clean. They were response and reliable, doing a great on schedule and on budget job. The new painted rooms and the cabinets look like new. Thank you Thiago and team for nicely addressing our project. Recent Review: WATER PIPE REPLACEMENT: Bill Germaine at B&B found an excellent contractor for us to do the excavation work and lay the pipe and arranged for a plumber to do the inside work. There was a minor problem with a connection after the installation that required the involvement of both the excavator and the plumber. I called Bill and he coordinated and kept on top of things to make sure the problem was fixed quickly and there have been no further problems. PAINTING: Because of the timing, two different subcontractors were involved in completing the painting. I was very pleased with their work. There had been damage to the front portico woodwork when we bought the house, apparently due to a poor job of scraping and prep for painting. I had thought I might have to replace the woodwork but B & B's painters did such a great job you are barely aware of the original damage. I also decided to have Bill's painting contractor paint the inside of my new sunroom. Joanne (the painting contractor) and Bill helped me select the stain and paint and I love the result. At one point they, though I didn't even notice a problem, they were not completely pleased with the work of one of the staff. The defects were minor but their commitment to doing an excellent job is such that they ensured they were fixed and checked back with me to ensure I was completely happy. The result is beautiful! FRONT PORTICO STEPS AND PLATFORM: B&B's subcontractors did a fabulous job at repairing and weatherizing our front portico steps. I can't believe how much better they look.

Recent Review: D&R did a seamless job of repair and the painting matched perfectly with the ceiling. You would not know that there had been a pipe there at all. Excellent job.

Recent Review: Roma Painting was the best choice we could have made to paint our home. Gabriel was fantastic to work with and had our interests in mind at all times. He paid attention to all details and suggested fixes even when we didn't see the problem. He even spotted an error in the color of the paint when the paint store mixed the wrong formula. They were thorough and reasonably priced. His team was friendly and professional. We highly recommend Gabriel and Roma.

Recent Review: Excellent. A little back and forth to get scheduled and then they showed up right on time, Fernando reviewed the job, explained how many workers would be working for how long to fulfill the terms of the contract--fairly calculated--and returned occasionally during the day to check in. Beautiful job doing mantel trim in our front hall--impeccable edges; they sanded where necessary on the doors and did two coats of oil-based paint. Cleanup was impeccable, workers were pleasant and responsive.

Recent Review: These guys are top-notch. Fabricio stopped by to provide an estimate and help understand how we could split-up the work based on our budget. We scheduled the work for the following week. He estimated it would take 2 days and was right on. His crew is very professional and they care for the details. They are courteous and cleanup at the end of the day. Fabricio was also kind to provide some help and guidance on other handyman jobs in the house. We already plan to hire Boston Painters for more work.
