The quotation process was easy, informative and low pressure. The quotation was delivered by email, then finalized after some additions and changes. The work was started a week ahead of what had been predicted and was completed during 2 weeks, which was as expected. The installers were very cooperative in doing a few extras like putting up shutters and gutter guards; they went out of their way to discuss options before starting the work, and at various points along the way. There was a hitch with two windows being delivered the wrong size, but this was worked around until replacements came, and did not delay the overall timing

Mike did an awesome job on every project he did for me. I had let a lot of things go, and he did an excellent job restoring them, such as the gate and shed siding. My dishwasher, which I had installed by a plumber over a year ago, never drained correctly. Mike figured out what was wrong right away and fixed it. He determined the cause of the leaking faucet in the laundry room. He suggested replacing the posts instead of buying a new faucet to save me money. During the time he worked with me, he presented different options to me to help me save money, which was very much appreciated. He was always punctual. If an emergency came up with another client, which only happened once, he contacted me as soon as he knew to reschedule our appointment. He was always very courteous and professional. When he made suggestions, he was not pushy and encouraged me to make the decision. Mike was neat and orderly and didn't have loud music blaring while he worked, which I've experienced with other handymen. I have other projects that I need to have done, and I will be using Mike for those projects, as well. It is so unusual to find a gem like Mike that I can't say enough positive things about him

Coastal Living Re-modelers and Tim Ziegler do an excellent job. They communicate very well, stay on schedule and are very competitive price wise. We also very much appreciate the quality of their work and will continue to use them in the future. They are a very good company. The work was performed over a period of time and the money spent is approximate since this number covers multiple projects. Jim Donova

After getting quotes from several more known window companies a neighbor recommended Rick. He had performed similar work for them several years ago and they were happy with the work and the windows. Rick was extremely responsive. Was at our home within 2 hours of the first contact. Gave a very effcient sales presentation and estimate. His terms were easy to work with. As soon as he had the windows he was ready to install and showed up exactly when he said. Did exactly what he promised. Very clean and profession work. My wife and dog where present during most of the installation and both were very comfortable with him. He was not the lowest quote, but far from the highest. One of the best things is he was the one to sell the work and do the work. No mis-communications

Bill was punctual and scheduled an appointment to come by and give us a quote before I had to leave for work. I received his quote in a timely manner and my wife and I set out to make all of the decisions that go with a kitchen remodel. It took a few months for us to prepare for the remodel. Bill recommended a refrigerator enclosure. I am glad he made the recommendation. I agreed and ordered it and it is a nice finishing touch. We started at the end of December. Bill, Charlie and R.J. arrived right when they said they would and proceeded to tear out the old kitchen cabinets. They were careful with the appliances and hauled away the old materials, while preserving items to be kept for the new kitchen. We added an island with plumbing and electrical, so Bill had the concrete cutting company there early the next day, after everything was removed, that work started. Plumbing and electrical conduit went in and the supporting wall for the island lined up perfectly with everything coming out of the concrete. The layout of the kitchen required new soffits and the entryway was getting a half wall to provide some separation between the living room and front door and an arch in the small passage between the entry and kitchen. Charlie framed and dry walled those elements, making sure to work with me on the details of exact placement. I had an idea where I wanted lights and Bill and Charlie had great advice on the final placement of the recessed lighting fixtures. Once the soffits and lighting fixtures were in place, Bob came in to do the plaster texturing and we cannot tell the new plaster work texture from the existing work in other rooms. Charlie installed the cabinets and worked through a few trim details with me as needed. Everything lined up exactly as planned. I am extremely satisfied with the care taken with the cabinets and trim. The granite installers came to create the template for the counters, while we waited for flooring to arrive. Charlie finished the half wall in the entry way, the arch in the passage between the entry and kitchen, then started on the flooring in the kitchen, halls and entryway. The baseboard, chair rail, and doorway trim looks great. The granite was installed and the plumbing was finished. Everybody that Bill had coming into our house was punctual and pleasant. They consistently asked questions to make sure we were getting what we envisioned. I will definitely consider Northridge for future work

This remodel job was done ahead of time and on budget and looks fantastic, it exceeded my expectations and those of my wife and that is hard to do. Bill and his crew are consummate professionals with great attitudes and are very experienced in all fields of home improvement. Their suggestions were extremely helpful and added functionality and ambiance to the entire project. Bill was concerned that the framing of the room would not look like the rest of the house and that it would look like an addition, but with a little thought and some special length rafters the roof line and the front of the addition looks exactly like the existing front of the house so now you can't tell it was ever an addition, a very, very nice touch. When we made changes to the project as it went along, Bill made the changes without hesitation and even suggested more ways to enhance the project that I had never even thought of. All the sub contractors that worked with Bill and his crew are very professional and caring so, every aspect of the project went off without a hitch. The inspectors were never surprised or even remotely concerned about anything and all the inspections went off without one single complaint. They also cleaned up the new room everyday before they left, the room and the area around the house was always clean and neat. Now that this project is completed we are going to have Bill back to do some bathroom remodeling. Northridge Survices LLC. is a super contracting outfit, Bill and his crew have my greatest thanks and appreciation for the work they accomplished on our beautiful house

They are fantastic. I got several estimates for my siding and gutters. They were the most reasonable. It is a family business. They have an amazing work ethic. He really is a go-getter. He is very enthusiastic. He will be taking over the business, he is very enthusiastic about that and it shows in his work

We were in the process of selling our house when the buyer's inspector found a small problem on the roof with the chimney flashing and a water drainage problem that was causing deterioration to some of the chimney siding. We were out of state at the time and our Realtor recommended Matt Parish of Parish enterprises to us. She contacted him on our behalf and he went out the very next day to check on the problem. He sent us an estimate for the repair and kept in contact with us by phone and e-mail when there was a couple days delay due to snow. He let us know as soon as the work was done and our son confirmed the work was complete, cleanup was done and everything looked good. Although this was a small area, there were a lot of things to be done to make the repair. We would not hesitate to use Mr. Parish again for a larger project or repair. Work was done professionally and in a timely manner. We felt the price was fair for the work performed

Troops did a great job. The installation was retrofitted after the flashing and gutters were already install. You would not know about the retrofit given the excellent workmanship. I recommend this provider.

The price you may pay when hiring professionals to install siding to your home

Average costs for installing siding on a house across the nation vary from $2,900 to $44,000. That’s a wide range because so many elements impact the price of home siding jobs. You can’t really get an accurate average without considering everything that’s involved.

Square footage matters when it comes to the cost of installing siding onto a home. The bigger your house’s outside surface area—or the bigger the measurements of the part to have siding installed—the more materials and time the project requires, which drives up the cost.

Additionally, the kind of siding determines overall price. Basic siding made of vinyl is the most cost-effective and averages $2 to $3 per square foot. Aluminum siding prices are similar, averaging $3 to $4 per square foot.

Stone and brick veneer are among the priciest materials. For the latter, you’ll pay, on average, $3 to $10 per square foot, and the former costs $8 to $11 per square foot.

Additional labor required to hang siding influences the cost of your project, too. If the siding business has to fix or replace decomposing boards or other infrastructure first, the costs tend to rise.

A great way to start to understand how much your project might cost is to ask for estimates from contractors in your area.
