I called at 8;30 am and a rep from Arbor Barber was out within the hour. The team showed up about an hour later and completed the work. The team was quick, efficient and left my yard like nothing had ever happened. Price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Arbor Barber!!

  • Budget Tree Service

They had to remove wire fence to get in the back yard but, when done put the fence back together. They did an excellent job. They raked the whole yard, put dirt on area and cleanup was like nothing was ever done. My yard is so open now & I am so happy. Perry and his staff were very professional and did their job. The price was VERY reasonable. I had other quotes but much higher than his and did not include removing the stump. In fact my next door neighbor checked his work in my yard and hired him to cut down his Huge tree. Yes, I would not only hire him again but would highly recommend him. I also got him to haul a box spring I needed to get rid of for a small fee. I am so thankful for Perry & his staff

  • Mikes Dirtwork

Mike was detailed in his quote and performed all work as promised. The trees were close to a fence and deck, his crew took great care to ensure nothing was damaged from these two very large trees. His pricing was very reasonable and he was very easy to work with. He spread a lot of black dirt over the holes and it is as if the trees were never there. I highly recommend this company

  • Oak Ridge Tree Solutions
    5.0
Amazing! Ryan and his Oak Ridge team did a very technical removal of a large oak with extended limbs along the peak of our lake house roof line, along with 2 other near-by dead oaks. It included coordinating taking down our power line, bringing in tree removal equipment, cutting usable oak into fireplace size logs, and chipping/removing the debris. All done in 1 day. My wife is in property management in the Twin Cities and was delighted with the clean up. She said, "They did a really great clean-up. You can hardly tell anyone was here." We'll hire Oak Ridge for the next job we need

Tree Service FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to remove a tree?

Answer: Typically, tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000. Tree removal costs vary widely based on the number of trees being removed, the height of each tree, the diameter of each tree trunk, and accessibility to the tree. Smaller trees are usually less expensive to remove than larger ones, as are those that are more easily accessible.

  2. Do you need a permit to cut down a tree?

Answer: In many areas, you don’t need a permit to cut down a tree on your own private, residential property. But some municipalities may require tree removal permits for conservation purposes or to comply with local ordinances. When you hire a tree removal pro, they’ll be able to tell you whether you need a permit for your specific tree removal project.

  3. When is a good time to trim trees?

Answer: In most regions, the best time to trim your trees is during the winter months. During the active growing season (spring through fall), trimming your trees can leave them more vulnerable to disease and less likely to thrive. During the winter months, when trees are dormant, trimming them will cause less stress and leave them ready to grow again in the spring.

  4. What is the average cost to cut a tree down?

Answer: Tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000 per tree. Establishing an average cost can be difficult because each tree will be assessed and priced based on factors like height, trunk diameter, and accessibility. In general, smaller trees cost less to remove than larger trees, as do trees that are more accessible.

  5. How much does it cost to service a tree?

Answer: The cost to service a tree is typically between $430 and $1,320. The cost to service a tree depends on several factors, including what exactly you’d like done, the tree’s height, its health, the location of the tree, and local labor costs. The national average cost for tree services is $865. Tree trimming isn’t necessary for all trees but can improve their health and longevity by encouraging new growth.

  6. What is the difference between tree trimming and pruning?

Answer: While tree trimming and tree pruning might appear similar to the untrained eye, they serve different purposes. Tree pruning is used to thin a tree by removing unnecessary or burdensome branches. Tree trimming promotes healthy growth by trimming but not removing branches.
