  • Wallis Landscape, Inc.

From the beginning Wallis provided guidance on timing to plant, and answered all my questions, no matter how trivial. On the day of service, Wallis coordinated marking of gas, water, cable etc. lines ahead of service . On the day of service, the crew arrived on time and Jason was there to ensure I was comfortable with the crew and supervisor on site. We hit a small snafu as one cable line wasn’t marked and was hit during stump removal, but Wallis rectified the situation pretty quickly. Wallis was thorough and quick- with all the work I had done, they finished in a day and a half

  • Ricky's Tree Service
    5.0
This was the second time (in one month!) that I hired Ricky's Tree Service for a "lake job", and it worked out again very well. They got the job done the day alter I called, and over 3 and 1/2 hours removed piecemeal the tree (using my canoe to get to it, on the lake), and carried it by hand (on an uphill slope) to the street level. (The tight space in my yard did not allow the use of a a mechanical winch). All was done perfectly well, and they left the lake surface and my yard absolutely pristine and clean. Very friendly and hardworking team, and most importantly, very competent!

  • Ricky's Tree Service
    5.0
Extremely well. The work was done shortly (4 days) after the bid. Ricky and his crew came on time, and over 4 hours did an excellent job. They had to deal in particular with a tricky situation, cutting down and removing a tree that was tilting on the water surface of a lake, in a very tight spot. They did this by carrying by hand the cut tree sections piecemeal to the street -on an uphill slope - and, very commendably, not leaving any debris behind on the lake surface! Everybody was cheerful and courteous, and Ricky explained everything that was being done

  • SaddleTree

I am exceedingly pleased with the work done by Saddletree. They pruned the giant white oak tree next to my house of deadwood as well as a large limb that overhung the house (and kept dropping really large branches on the roof). They were reasonably priced, did a great job, and cleaned up everything. When they finished, my driveway and back deck were a whole lot cleaner than before they arrived! Alan Whitehead, the owner provided a copy of his insurance certificate before I even thought to ask. They are a young company but one I highly recommend

  • Perez Lawn and Tree Services

We had an Emergency tree removal and they did such an excellent and amazing job that we hired them to do more work. We had a huge tree falling towards our house that was resting on two other trees. Our home was in imminent danger and he got a crew out in 2 hours. They clearly saved our home from extensive damage. Ended up having about 15 trees removed. Great job and great value. They really know what they are doing. We plan to use again at some point for some landscaping as well. We also recommended Robert to our neighbor and she was super pleased too!!! Robert is super honest and he and his crew are WONDERFUL!!! Thanks for being there when we needed you!

  • Caldwell Tree Care
    5.0
If you want to see the difference between "tree care" and other companies that have chainsaws and cut down trees, give Caldwell a call. Our work was done expertly and on-time by courteous professionals who cared as much about our trees as we did. Check out the picture - the cherry tree was trimmed with enough precision as to not disturb the birds. Thanks Willie, Jerome, Austin, Terry, Andrew and Kevin

  • Jr Rodriguez tree service
    5.0
The job went well! Junior and his team showed up on time and completed the removal of the trees and full clean up in 3 hours. We wanted them to avoid the front lawn for carrying large limbs and they fully accommodated this request, walking the tree parts out by hand through the side yard. They blew the grass to clean all areas afterwards as well. Polite and professional. We highly recommend them

Tree Service FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to remove a tree?

Answer: Typically, tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000. Tree removal costs vary widely based on the number of trees being removed, the height of each tree, the diameter of each tree trunk, and accessibility to the tree. Smaller trees are usually less expensive to remove than larger ones, as are those that are more easily accessible.

  2. Do you need a permit to cut down a tree?

Answer: In many areas, you don’t need a permit to cut down a tree on your own private, residential property. But some municipalities may require tree removal permits for conservation purposes or to comply with local ordinances. When you hire a tree removal pro, they’ll be able to tell you whether you need a permit for your specific tree removal project.

  3. When is a good time to trim trees?

Answer: In most regions, the best time to trim your trees is during the winter months. During the active growing season (spring through fall), trimming your trees can leave them more vulnerable to disease and less likely to thrive. During the winter months, when trees are dormant, trimming them will cause less stress and leave them ready to grow again in the spring.

  4. What is the average cost to cut a tree down?

Answer: Tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000 per tree. Establishing an average cost can be difficult because each tree will be assessed and priced based on factors like height, trunk diameter, and accessibility. In general, smaller trees cost less to remove than larger trees, as do trees that are more accessible.

  5. How much does it cost to service a tree?

Answer: The cost to service a tree is typically between $430 and $1,320. The cost to service a tree depends on several factors, including what exactly you’d like done, the tree’s height, its health, the location of the tree, and local labor costs. The national average cost for tree services is $865. Tree trimming isn’t necessary for all trees but can improve their health and longevity by encouraging new growth.

  6. What is the difference between tree trimming and pruning?

Answer: While tree trimming and tree pruning might appear similar to the untrained eye, they serve different purposes. Tree pruning is used to thin a tree by removing unnecessary or burdensome branches. Tree trimming promotes healthy growth by trimming but not removing branches.
