"The work itself was good, but I do have a couple of complaints. After replacing the drywall was completed, contractor didn't put the vent cover to the A/C vent back. He said it wasn't in the quote and I would be charged, if I had him do it. The hole he had cut out wasn't big enough so I will have to cut out the hole to the proper size before I can screw the vent cover back on. Next, I was told that hauling the trash away would cost me $60. He said it wasn't in the quote. I thought it was. The original request I sent advising of the work needed included the clean up and hauling of all trash, so when I got the bid back with pricing I assumed that it included hauling the trash off. I've used this company before to replace the drywall of living room ceiling, and the previous contractor hauled off the trash and put the A/C vent cover back, when he was finished. I would use Handymen R Us again, but next time I will make absolutely sure everything down to the most minute detail is listed in the quote. I won't assume what was originally requested is automatically included in the final bid.

"The 6+ foot tall grass and weeds which had plagued the street edge were taken care of efficiently. All of the grass that was overgrowing upon the house was trimmed back. The grass, weeds, and trees that were encroaching upon the drive were trimmed and limbs removed. Two years worth of nature running its course had been alleviated near the house in four and a half hours by the Mickeys Lawn Care couple. All of my interactions with Mel had him showing concern for the state of the property and a desire to do more than what I was asking of him within the same estimation of cost.
