"Steve is a great guy, honest, & stands by his work. The quote he gave me was fair and covered parts, labor, installation, & removal of the old doors. No hidden costs and he didn’t try to upsell me any additional parts, like new openers. He gave me a date & time for the installation, showed up on time and installed them. Took him about 3 hours to replace 2 doors. We love the new doors & they look and work great. The last thing he said was to call him with any concerns, even if started squeaking & he would be there to fix it. He is very professional with many years of experience & provided excellent service. I would highly recommend him for all your garage door needs.

"I could not be more impressed with the service we received from McCabe's Garage Doors, even though we didn't need to use them for our project. We wanted to have the garage door opener in the condo we just moved into looked at. I thought there could be an alternative motor that would be quieter. McCabe contacted me promptly and arranged to have a look. When he arrived, Duane evaluated the current motor and drive and told me that there was really no quieter unit to get. He also looked at the rest of the mechanism and told me it was all in good shape. When I asked if a tuneup was recommended, he said "no" (even though I would have been willing to have him do one). I was extremely impressed with his professionalism, honesty, and promptness. I told him truthfully that if we ever needed work done, I'd call him first.

"Bob was responsive and reassuring. I reached out to him through Angie’s List. He responded within a couple of days and set up time for the estimate. Once we agreed to the pricing, it was within a week that I had a start date. Throughout the process, Bob was great at communicating the progress of the damages and work to be done. At one point, there was a large opening into my home because of all the damaged wood that needed to be replaced. His team of folks were wonderful; respectful and courteous throughout the project. Bob and his team were great at explaining and teaching me where the damage started, the work to repair the area, and what to look for moving forward. At the end of each night’s work, the area was cleaned up. There were no signs there was construction happening besides the work in progress. The work was completed within the timeframe agreed upon. This was very important as I had to make special arrangements to be able to work from home. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work completed and the experience. I will definitely contract with Bob in the future for projects.

"I left a message for Joe and received a call back roughly a week later. After playing some serious phone tag, we were able to connect. He came by my property on September 1st to check the current functionality of my garage doors, and presumably went to my rental property across town to do the same (though no one was home to confirm). I have since called Joe 3 times, leaving 2 voicemails and have been completely unable to get in touch with Joe. No quote, no scope of work needed, nothing. Would love to pay someone for the work, but it doesn't appear as though Joe is interested in my business.

"I purchased 2- 2 hour big deals, that is 4 hours of work. Howie communicated well at first. I delayed having Howie come out because I didnt have all that I needed - then we miscommunicated. I then allowed time to go by - - a year later he was very responsive and still honored the big deal. . He has a big truck with a lot of materials with him -though I was prepared with most everything that needed to be replaced. Howie did a great job. He seeks a lot of input from the homeowner to please them. Apparently Howie is a licensed contractor that refers to not take on huge projects at this time. So he knows his stuff- electrical, plumbing drywall, etc etc. I was very pleased and I have requested estimates for more work. I gave him mostly As but a couple of Bs just because of our miscommunication. <br /> He wants to understand everything you need done and he wants to make sure that you have everything that is needed before he comes to make sure to use his time well. He charges extra for parts he supplies. <br />

"We heard about Power Home Remodeling from a company representative, Cedric, who was in the neighborhood for a project on a neighbor's home. He helped us set up an appointment for later in the evening on the same day. In the evening, Tyler returned to quote out the siding, trim, and gutters. The whole process took about 4 hours, but it was very informative and left us with a thorough understanding of Power Home Remodeling as a company as well as the services they provide and materials they use. A few reasons we decided to go with Power Home Remodeling were that many of our neighbors have used them for multiple home projects, there was no deposit required before starting the work, and all the services and materials are covered by a lifetime, transferable (single transfer) warranty. The warranty itself provided us comfort because we knew we would be covered for the full time we are in our current home and we would be able to give the next owners some peace of mind. The time between the quote and when actual work was completed was only a couple of weeks. The work was done over the course of two consecutive days (Friday and Saturday) and the cleanup was great. There were two issues with how some of the downspouts were finished (second level not fully attached to the first level, lower level spout in line with fence). However, part of the service is for a Power Home Remodeling inspector to come to the home and inspect the work as well as address any issues. This meeting occurred within a week of the actual work and all of our concerns were addressed and are scheduled to be fixed. All the employees that we interacted with were polite, professional, and explained everything very thoroughly. As mentioned, we will be using Power Home Remodeling for our future siding project and recommend using them for your future housing needs!
