Local Garage Door Spring Repair & Replacement Near San Francisco

Arrived on time and fixed the springs. We had another company came out and installed the wrong springs. He could have replaced both springs, but recommended us to replace 1 correct spring.

Mr. Armen was great! He had to do some real problem solving; the springs on our garage door were not the proper size springs for the door but the door was not heavy enough for the correct springs. He was forced to jury rig a hook up for the old spring and only charged the cost of the service call.

Ok except for the lack of service once the spring broke and am concerned about the fact that the spring broke so quickly.

Came on time, diagnosed the garage door problem as a broken spring, replaced the two springs, also fixed a broken bolt elsewhere on the door, and took the old springs away. Did it all promptly, professionally, and for less than some others that advertise more widely. I liked him and would use him again.

Used Angie's list 'spring replacement' Big Deal offer for $189. Tech replaced the springs with no change as the motor was really the problem. He re-installed the old but still-good garage door springs, and then replaced the entire drive motor unit and electronics.

The torsion spring broke on our door today, and they were able to provide same day service. They replaced the torsion springs and the garage door is working great. The cost was consistent with the estimate they gave me over the phone; the only variable was the cost of the springs themselves.

Read about the good reviews on Angie's List, and called Doug on the Sat morning (spring broke the night before). Doug mentioned he could do 7pm, and arrived on-time. He replaced the spring in 20 mins. Very professional, very friendly. He also took the time to explain to me how the spring worked, and taught me the proper way to open the garage door manually during the next power outage or if the spring went out again. Highly recommended.

Came and told us we needed to replace what were brand new springs with other springs. Used cheap springs, now one broke, just out of warranty of course. Stay away from these guys.

The spring on my garage door broke Sunday morning. I called Campbell Overhead Door Monday at 8am and the spring was replaced by noon.

Saed is fabulous! He replaced the broken spring in 30 minutes. He explained how to maintain the spring properly using blaster spray and lubriplate grease. I'm so happy about the result. Highly recommended!

The technician called about 10 minutes before arriving. He was very polite and courteous, and seemed to know his business. He removed the broken spring and upgraded us to a higher quality one, which he oiled. He also oiled the rollers so that the door would run more smoothly. I received a 10% discount upon mentioning that I was an Angie's List member. I do not know if this is company policy, but I was very pleased with it.

Called the service to replace a broken roll up door spring. I was advised that both springs should be replaced as the unbroken spring was probably just as fatigued as the broken one. Went with the installers advise . Approximately 2 and 1/2 months later we experienced a roll up problem. I called the service and they sent a service person out within 3/4 of an hour. The serviceman determined that the wooden door required one size larger spring to correct the problem. The job was completed at no extra cost to us. We were very satisfied

Originally I thought I needed a new garage door. The garage door was circa 1988, all wood and extremely heavy. I was replacing the springs every two years, When R&S came out they said I didn't need a new door, but that the springs needed to be a stronger high output spring. They ordered and had the spring installed in a few days. In addition they adjusted the garage door opener to accommodate the heavier spring. R&S could have sold me a new door at a significantly higher price than the springs but realized the door wasn't the issue.

Home warranty was useless in fixing the problem. Jack's has been around for years and decided to call them. Due to my work schedule they accommodated a time for a tech to come out. The tech was not only a few minutes early but was very professional and knowledgeable.

They gave us one hour window and came on time. Didn’t try to sell me anything that I didn’t need. Outstanding service

Our garage door was stuck closed due to snapping of one of the torsion springs. Ace was sent by American Home Warranty as part of our home warranty coverage. Ace was able to come in the very same day, and take care of the spring replacement. The technician was friendly, clearly explained what needed to be done, and took care of the repair in about half an hour. He also oiled the rollers after I promised to write him an Angie's list review. :) It is unfortunate that American Home Warranty covers replacement for only one of the springs, which was snapped. And does not cover the other spring which is equally old. I had to pay in addition to get both springs replaced. Overall Ace is a good service and will use their service if needed in the future.

We had an urgent situation. The spring had broken with my wife's car stuck in the garage (Those **** garage doors are too heavy to lift without the spring - lesson learned). James came the next day as scheduled. He had to work around our trapped car for most of the job. But he did it and was careful not to damage the car. He knew his stuff and had the spring and the door open repaired in short order.
