AMM did a fantastic job from start to finish. Shortly after I requested a quote, they got back to me with possible dates when an estimator could come to the property. We agreed on a date and time. Andy Bowman arrived on time on the scheduled day. She was quick, very efficient and provided a quote right then. She was great at telling me what they could do to construct the new fence so that it would last. The price was good and I appreciated the professionalism so I went with them. Very glad I did! Their crew showed up on the date, on time and ready to go. The foreman (can’t remember his name) told me that due to the steep angle of the property, they would need to construct the fence a little differently than the bid specified. His reasoning made sense, it didn’t increase the cost any and I greed to the change. The old fence was down in less than 15 minutes. The new fence was constructed with craftsmanship and quality. I was impressed with the little things they did to help ensure the fence would last for years. I would use them again without question. Thanks AMM! I love the new fence

I cannot say enough about Finesse Fencing! I contacted Marvin for a quote from out of state. His speedy response was 40% less than other quotes & he also sent me videos & pictures. Great customer service. He had 96' of fencing put up in one day & all the neighbors are telling me it looks fantastic!

Excellent Service and attention to details. From Myla in the office, to the project manager Andy Bowman, everyone was friendly and professional. At the first meeting, Andy explained in detail what was needed for the job. She saw problem areas that I missed, and gave me the pros and cons of temporary fixes vs long term. She never pressured me into spending more than I could afford. She even gave me a discount at the end ! On the day of the fence installation, the crew was very efficient. Abraham was the foreman, and figured out a way to tie back a major orange tree branch so it wouldn't be damaged. I was very happy with the results. Great job

Jose and his team are the best. They repaired a long and old wooden fence that was sagging badly. They also build a new side gate for me that looks very nice. All the work was done correctly and I’m very satisfied with the outcome. I definitely recommend Jose. Very honest gentleman.

Finesse Fencing did an excellent job replacing my old back fence. Marvin’s team was very prompt in scheduling to examine my property, provided me with good options and presented me with a very fair quote for the job. On the day of the job, the team showed up on time and worked straight through until dark to get the old fence out and the new fence completely constructed all in one day! Marvin provided excellent customer service with very competitive quote, very competent guidance based on my needs and provided several options to chose from. I find Marvin really thinks about his customers needs, work with them patiently until an alignment is achieved and then results are excellent: He did fencing and stain for me, worked directly with the neighbors and then started project on time

Fencing FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to install a fence?

Answer: The average cost to install a fence is $2,600. A variety of factors will impact the overall cost of fencing installation, such as the length of the fence, the materials you choose, and local labor costs. Fencing projects using the lowest cost materials and with lower labor costs can cost as little as $1 to $6 per linear foot, while projects using the highest cost materials and with higher labor costs may be as high as $15 to $45.

  2. Do I need a permit to build a fence around a yard?

Answer: Whether you’ll need a permit to build a fence around your yard will depend on your city or county's local codes. Many metropolitan and suburban areas require a permit to install most fencing, but they may not for fences situated behind a house as opposed to in front of it or fences that don’t run within a certain distance of the road. To find out if you’ll need a permit to fence your yard, reach out directly to your local government office.

  3. What is the cheapest fence to install?

Answer: The cheapest fencing to install is chain-link fencing. Chain-link fencing is typically cheaper than other fence types because the materials cost less, and installation is generally quicker and easier than other options. Chain-link fencing is affordable, easy to install, and low maintenance. However, it’s usually considered less secure than other options and doesn’t increase resale value as much as fences made of different materials.

  4. Is a wood or vinyl fence cheaper?

Answer: Wood fences are generally cheaper than the cost of vinyl fences. While the cost of materials for wood and vinyl fences is usually very similar, the labor cost associated with installing a vinyl fence is higher. Wood fencing is also easier to install than vinyl fencing, making it possible to save money by making wood fence installation a DIY project. It’s also possible to DIY install a vinyl fence.

  5. What is the life expectancy of a vinyl fence?

Answer: Vinyl fencing can be expected to last between 10 and 30 years. Vinyl fencing is generally low maintenance, but proper care will ensure it lasts as long as possible. Its long life span and high return on investment make vinyl fencing a popular option for many homeowners.

  6. What type of fence adds to the property value?

Answer: Installing quality fencing, no matter the fence type, will generally add value to your property. In general, fences made of longer-lasting, lower-maintenance, and more attractive materials—like wrought-iron, composite, or vinyl—add more value to a property than fences made of lower-cost or less attractive materials, like chain-link. To ensure your fencing adds as much value to your home as possible, be sure it’s properly permitted, approved by your homeowners association (if you have one), and installed properly.
