SIMPLY AWESOME!!! I called MMP around 8 am and spoke to Cindy. She had me take some pictures of my water heater to email over to them. Within 45 minutes I spoke to Diane, she gave me the price and said she could have someone out to my house by early afternoon the same day. Diane called me back at roughly 11:30 am to let me know a crew had finished a bigger job early and could be at my house in 45 minutes (they got here in 30!). Jim and Joe were AWESOME! We went over the issues and they answered ALL of our questions and then some. Within an hour and a half they had the old water tank out and the new one installed along with a pressure regulator. Their work was EXCELLENT and the price was good! They will be my go to for any future plumbing needs. I asked MMP to get me a quote for a new furnace and AC unit, I will be sure to edit the review and let everyone know how that goes

Brian Tarr at Matt Mertz Plumbing did an excellent job installing our new Dishwasher, and he also replaced the filters in our Reverse Osmosis Filtration system. In the past, Brian has repaired several pin hole leaks in our copper pipes. Since we have West View Water, Brian recommended that we purchase a Whole House Filter System, and he installed it for us in 2018. Since then, we have had minimal issues with pin hole leaks. We had many different plumbers come to the house and repair pin hole leaks, but Brian was the only one to recommend the Whole House Filter system

Chris was there when he said he would be and the work flowed at a nice pace. He didn't mind if I came into the room to watch and when I said that maybe I should leave leave him to his work, he told me it was fine and he liked the conversation, and showed me what he was doing at every turn. He seems to enjoy what he was doing and my wife and I are very happy with the work that he di

  • All Star Custom Kitchens
    5.0
I had no personal referrals on kitchen contractors and, therefore, relied completely on what I researched online. I kept coming back to All Star Custom Kitchens. The reviews they received from their previous customers were amazing. I decided to take a leap of faith and contract with All Star Custom Kitchens and I am so glad I did! Tom and his crew did a wonderful job. They gave me a beautiful new kitchen that far exceeded my expectations. Tom delivered on everything he said he would...from the first meeting through to completion. The project went incredibly smooth. Communication was excellent. Crew was incredible to work with. Tom was always available and quick to respond throughout the project. There is nothing new I can say that has not already been said in all of the All Star Custom Kitchen reviews. If you are considering a kitchen remodel, I highly recommend you give Tom a call

  • McVehil Plumbing & Heating

Extremely professional and personable. Work was done the same day of service call . Quality of work was outstanding. I am very handy at usually doing my own repairs , but opted for a professional opinion and glad I did. Very impressed with the quality of the plumbing work needed. Also , no mess left for me to clean up. Used them last winter for a clogged outside drain . No one likes to spend money on home repairs , but peace of mind knowing that the work was done now and not when it unexpectedly fails in the middle of winter. Would definitely recommend them

  • Cullum Excavating
    5.0
Corey was very professional and came to my house twice to quote my job and answer questions even though we are over an hour away in Pittsburgh. He did excellent work with his excavator- he is very precise with the shovel and dug the 60’ trench in a very tight spot. He and his coworker installed schedule 40 pvc for water at a depth of >40” and for electrical at a depth of 18”. He threaded the supply line and also my electrical as he dug the trench. He was friendly and patient even when our footer was 2’ thick and required an extra 4 hrs of jackhammering, which he did charge me for. His price was half that of two plumbers that quoted my job. Highly recommended

Plumbing FAQ

  1. How much does a plumber cost?

Answer: The cost of a plumber ranges from $175 to $480, with a national average of $330. However, the price will vary depending on job complexity, timing, location, supplies and materials, permits, and level of expertise. These costs typically include toilet repairs, faucet installations, and leaky pipes. In addition to the service call, you may also need to budget for haul-away and trip fees often required during more complicated jobs. Ask your local plumbing contractor about these fees before hiring them.

  2. How much does a plumber charge to replace a toilet?

Answer: On average, you can expect to pay your local plumbing contractor between $125 and $230 to replace an old toilet, with most residential homeowners paying around $150 to $180 for professional installation. You’ll need to consider materials and labor when calculating a final price. Not all toilets are equal. Depending on the brand you choose and the features you want, a new toilet might run you anywhere from $100 to $1,300. Add in the price of labor and installation, and your total project can jump up to $200 and $1,500.

  3. How much does a plumber cost to fix a toilet?

Answer: According to our service providers, it costs roughly $75 to $200 on average to have your toilet repaired. However, this price will vary depending on the complexity of the job and the materials needed for the fix. Repairs can be messy and less-than-pleasant to address, but having a functioning toilet is most definitely necessary. If you’re experiencing problems with your toilet, contact a local, reputable plumbing contractor right away, as avoiding repairs can lead to bigger—and more expensive—issues over time.

  4. Is liquid plumber safe for septic systems?

Answer: Good news! Liquid-Plumr® is safe for septic systems. Most drain cleaners disrupt the pH in your septic tank, which prevents the good bacteria from breaking down septic waste. The chemical make-up in Liquid-Plumr® works with the bacteria to break down waste quickly without harming your septic system. Still, it’s best to confirm with your local plumbing provider if Liquid-Plumr® is the right solution for your system.

  5. How much is it for a plumber to unclog a toilet?

Answer: Even the most well-maintained toilets experience clogs. It’ll cost you an average of $200 to $700 to unclog your toilet. Severe clogs will require a more comprehensive repair method, so check with your local plumbing contractor to determine the best approach for unclogging your toilet.

  6. Is Liquid-Plumr®, or any other liquid drain cleaner, safe for septic systems?

Answer: Yes and no. Liquid-Plumr® and other drain cleaners are most effective when used sparingly (one to three times a year). Repeated use of liquid plumber on drains could deteriorate your pipes and cause more damage. If your pipes clog frequently, put down the liquid plumber and call your local plumbing contractor immediately.
