Pittsburgh Boiler Heater Repair

The boiler went out at one of my rental properties. They were very quick to respond and schedule a time to have a look that same day. The technician arrived and took care of the problem in a very quick time. My tenant was extremely pleased with their work and to have heat the same day it went out. I've already scheduled them for another job. I would definitely recommend them.

I was away on vacation in January, 2011. While I was away I got a call from my son (who stops by to check on the house when I am away) found ceilings on the floor and water everywhere. The flute leading from the wall to the boiler developed a hole in it, boiler stopped working, water and radiator pipes frozen. Two out of nine radiators were replaced and three repaired. Another and ldquo;Word of Mouthand rdquo; company began work but they were extremely unprofessional. The initial visit by the owner went well. He then referred me to his son(s). They stayed on the job, were very persistent in indentifying and repairing the leaks but I became concerned about the materials they used as well as the overall mess they were making. After this experience, I joined Angie's List, began to research Plumbers and stared and making calls to get estimates. The first few calls I made were returned with promise to call back but they never did. I made follow up calls, but I settled with Proudfoot Plumbing. The reviews on the company said the prices were little high but I called, Mr. Williams returned my call, gave me background on his company and scheduled an appointment. He and Doug came on time. They even put covers over their shoes before entering the house, although there was no need for that because I am still getting drywall installed and carpeting will have to be replaced. But they were very professional. Mr. Williams assessed the problem and left Doug to do the work. Doug explained every thing he was doing and repair that needed to be done beforehand. He replaced some of the material with better quality/up to standard materials in addition; he performed and explained safety checks. The repairs were less than I estimated and I am very happy with the job.

On a cold December morning, I realized my boiler system was not producing heat. Called Tudi at about 8:00 am and they said they could have someone at my house between 12:00 - 4:00. John showed up at 12:30 and was there for about one hour. My heat worked and he was patient with me explaining what he had done.

Great. He came to our house within 30 minutes of our emergency after hours call (no heat on a very cold night). Fixed boiler and was very professional and honest.

The technician (Nick I believe) arrived on time, the same day as service was requested. He was very friendly, knowledgable, and did a great job of answering any questions I had about literally anything. The problem, why it happened, how to address it in the future, how to prevent other common problems, etc. He was most excellent all the way around. In about an hour he had repaired my boiler, installed a new thermostat, and explained how to program it. The cost seemed very reasonable to me at about $130. My house has heat, I'm a happy camper, and I will most definitely be using Bolster-DeHart again in the future!

Dave Juran had nursed this aging heating system for about 10 years for us. He was always punctual and very reasonable. When the time came to replace the system there was no question in our minds whether to use Dave or another contractor. Dave completed the work as promised. He did so on the timetable he predicted. The estimate was exact. What really sets Dave Juran apart are two things. First, he is a true professional and the ultimate gentleman. Dave readily explains any aspect of the work anyone might ask about. Secondly, the work is excellent. Dave put several enhancements on the system. For example, there are now shutoff valves to enable quick and easy service/repair in the future. In addition, Dave installs a receptacle right at the boiler for future convenience. All work and parts are highest quality. There have been no problems at all with this installation.

Fixed boiler - tried to save it but it was too far gone. New boiler had to be installed. Gave me some price reduction off installation due to repair work . They were good - I did not have time to get competing estimates......They could come the quickest - had good ratings and I went with them. Good at explaining things , prompt communication, which I like...

Park Plumbing goes above and beyond expectations. In the dead of winter, my boiler heater stopped working. I was recommended to Mr. Brenan and he, himself, came out on a weekend to fix the heater. He was a gentleman, a professional and an expert at fixing heaters. He also taught me a lot about how to maintain the heater and I was deeply grateful for all that he did. I've had him and his employees back to service my boiler and have full trust in their knowledge and skills. His fees are reasonable and he will not leave a job until the problem is fixed and the customer is completely satisfied. I'll be calling him this week to do another job for me. Took over a week to get an appointment. Filter gasket failed after service, but they worked hard to make it right.

After getting my car back 2 weeks ago and spending over $1000 on needed maintenance, my battery died last night. After getting jumped, I stopped by Bridgeville Automotive and they quoted me $120 on a new battery. As the technician put the new battery in, he noticed my old battery was one that they installed 2 years ago. Because the battery was under warranty, they were able to prorate my new battery and it only cost me $80. Honesty goes along way.
