It all went really well. They arrived on time, explained what they would do, took out the rusty exhaust fan, and did some extensive work in the attic to make the new exhaust fan fit and operate. They really were efficient and had the job done in exactly two hours. I would happily use them again in the future. In fact, we plan to have them out to install some ceiling fans later this year.

He was on time and he took me through what the work was going to be. He came prepared and he was very qualified. He did the work in less time than estimated. He installed ceiling fan, lights and exhaust fan in the bathroom. Everything went pretty well. He also did some carpentry work on the outside of the house. They were expensive.

Mike arrived shortly before our 8am scheduled appt time and was immediately ready to work. We purchased the $450 deal for an electrician all day. He made good use of his time to accomplish the projects needed. The lights look fantastic although there is some drywall repair needed. The day Mike came out to give us an estimate on our projects he let us know that he did not do the drywall repair so it was not a surprise. However, he did patch the holes the best he could before he left. We also had Mike come out at a later date to install two ceiling fans in our upstairs bedrooms. We are pleased with the results of that project as well. my only suggestion for improvement would be for him to clean up a little better at the end of the job. We would not hesitate to use Elco Electrical again.

He was WONDERFUL! He gave my husband a quote over the phone that it would take an hour or so per fan. He came on a day that he doesn't typically work but would never even know it when he came to the house. He was a great guy and just overall happy and very professional. It actually took several hours to put in the fans not due to him at ALL but instead our drywall in the ceiling was crumbling so bad that he couldn't install the fans securely. There were several times he could have just given up but instead went to home depot to get a part that would help secure it (this is now into sunday evening, who wants to work on a sunday evening!!). All in all he was wonderful and will hire him again and again. As you could imagaine it came out to more then 1 hour per fan and he totally worked with us on how much to pay him as he said 'I quoted you this' kind of thing, I ended up paying him more then he offered just as it was truely not his fault. Who knew installing fans would be so much work.

Wes and Alina were great. We initially had them out to bring a great deal of suspect wiring up to code. Wes is very good about doing everything to code. They also installed ceiling fans and lights where there were none in our 1924 home. Wes installed 220v in my workshop. They also transitioned the house from the original fusebox to a well-organized and easy to understand circuit box. We've had them out a few more times for additional upgrades and changes. Alley Electric has been so great, we wouldn't think to call anyone else.

Recent Review: My was quick to respond to my request from Angie's list. His estimate was very detailed and clear - showing what he was providing (e.g., LED fixtures, floor heating) and what I was providing (e.g., ceiling fans). His price was the best out of all the companies I contacted. He and his crew worked hard and efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. They showed up when expected and were very courteous. The inspector commented on the quality of the work that had been done. There were a couple of issues with the placement of fixtures that he quickly resolved. He had to wait a few weeks between phases of the job (e.g., completing the rough and first inspection, putting in the bathroom heat, finishing installations after cabinets were in) but quickly worked us into the schedule after I called him. We had one outlet that stopped working after the job was finished and they came out and fixed it, no problem. I decided to add some additional lighting in our master bedroom, and he gave the quote and got it done very quickly. I have already referred him to a friend of mine for a couple of small things she needs done.
