Recent Review: Never in 20 years, living in this house, have I ever had a plumber travel from Monterey, CA, to do plumbing work on a house in Gonzales, CA. I was amazed that any plumber would come to Gonzales, CA, after 20 years of repeated negative experiences. Repaired the kitchen sink faucet. Replaced two (2) outdoor faucets. Recycled the water conditioner. Serviced the heating furnace. All work completed in a most excellent fashion. The plumber was very pleasant to work with. He was terrific.

Recent Review: I called in the morning about my heater not working and they were able to fit me in on the same day for a diagnostic appointment. The technicians, Bill and Chris, are friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable and super-helpful. They got my heater working again, but it's on its last leg, so Bill gave me a quote for repair, as well as for a full system replacement. There was no pressure to make a decision, which I really appreciated. It's a great experience all in all.

Recent Review: The ignition they came out was really great. He gave us advice. We actually ordered one that wouldn’t fit so we found the better option to choose to install in the home. It works out great. He put everything up the code pass with good fortune with flying colors. We were actually way under code beforehand and now we’re up code and I was very happy. They were in and out very quickly, really good prices, and they clean up after themselves. I like their customer service primarily. These guys are wonderful. I would definitely use them again in the future especially at home when something goes wrong definitely.

Recent Review: Their technician showed me the solution quickly. A small rotating piece needed to be adjusted. For all I knew, he could gave told me the system had to be replaced. He quickly completed the job for lasting satisfactory results. I'm planning to have them do duct cleaning soon because I was impressed with their honesty.

Recent Review: I called the company to check out my heater/air conditioner system because the air did not seem to be flowing properly. Upon their inspection, they found my duct work had failed and had sections in need of repair and replacement. They scheduled an appointment for installation and was completed in one day. I could not be more pleased with this company. They did exactly what they said they would, when they said they could get it done. There are few companies out there that keep their promise. Recent Review: Our rooftop LG split system condensing unit stopped working in the dead of winter. We called multiple HVAC contractors from Google and Angies List and none of them could figure out what was exactly wrong and how to address the issue. After paying a ton in system evaluation service fees, we had multiple expensive quotes to replace the entire system (indoor and outdoor), which would have caused a major inconvenience to our current work from home lifestyle. Luckily, First California Appliance was called and they took the time to evaluate the system properly. They were able to easily pinpoint the exact issue and fix it without causing any added stress to our work from home schedules. I am extremely thankful that we found First California Appliance, they saved us a ton of money and a major headache.

Recent Review: Went very well. Determined that a switch on new circuit board was set wrong and that connector on new ignitor was not connecting correctly. Unit is two stage but had a one stage thermostat, replaced. Cost was fair and reasonable. Technicians were friendly and knowledgeable.

Recent Review: Once again, my Lennox furnace would not come on. This has been an ongoing issue for many years. I was very "turned off" by furnace repair companies from past experiences. My initial thought was "here we go again"! I called a few companies that said that they had "24 hour service" only to be told that they could come out in 3 - 4 days. They also had that "call center" feeling. Then I called DunRite. It was a Sunday morning, and I thought why not give them a call. They do also advertise service all weekend, but I have to admit, I wasn't very hopeful! Within 10 minutes of my initial call the Owner, Mike, called me to ask what the issue was. I told him and he said that he would have his technician there by noon that same day. Jesse arrived on time and was very pleasant and courteous. He got the unit working within 20 minutes. While he could not find an issue with it, just had to open it up, I am just grateful for the furnace working. While I'm not convinced it won't happen again (because of the past issues, nothing to do with DunRite), I am very pleased that I called DunRite, and if it does happen again they will be my first call. I also plan to begin to use them for maintenance of my Furnace and AC units.

Recent Review: Repair technician arrived earlier than promised because he finished previous job sooner than expected. Completed repairs in about 30 minutes. Repair was done the same day that I called; unlike other provider that was unable to provide service until 8 days after initial call.

Recent Review: About an hour after the repair the problem occurred again. A different technician return and replaced the thermostat which corrected the problem. They wanted to charge for both repairs even though the first repair did not correct the problem.

Recent Review: Anthony was just great. He showed up, he diagnosed the furnace problem quickly, ordered the part and came back to install it within a couple of days. I was really pleased!
